5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Home Theater Projector

Pros: Vivid color. Easy setup. Looks fantastic with my XBox360 (I use VGA cables). My 4th projector in 6 years (previous 3 were LCD) and by far the best. Looks great on Oblivion, Gears of War, and all the HD movies we watch downloaded from XBoxLive. And all I use for my screen is a $15 white bedsheet from Txxxet suspended from the ceiling.

Cons: Projector is meant to be ceiling mounted (IE. It won't project down. If you were to place the projector on the floor, none of the image will appear on the ground). It isn't the quietest projector in the world, but VERY few are.

Other Thoughts: Owned now for 2 months. I only use the projector on economy mode because there's not much difference between economy and full brightness. There ARE visible rainbows, but ONLY if you focus on the pixels of a MOVING image and you have to look hard. However most of the time you'll be focusing on the actor or character on screen, on the level you're playing, or whatever happens to be on screen at the time; and during these times you will notice absolutely no rainbows. Its not quite HD, but definitely better than standard definition. Another note that I didn't realize when I made my purchase: a single yellow RCA video cable will only go up to standard definition. If you want 480p, 720p ( <-currently my setup), or 1080i you have to use RGB component cables.

4 out of 5 eggsgood projector

Pros: First projector i've owned. Very bright in my basement when the lights are off. Good when only some lights are on. Not bright enough when all lights are on, but thats to be expected with a room full of flourescent lights. Produces a sharp image, has zoom. Capable of making a giant image. I projected it into my back yard at night once, you could see it on the trees 80 feet back.

Cons: none really. for the money, i dont regret it at all. wish i had thought to get one with HD inputs but thats ok.

Other Thoughts: good buy for the money. great specs.
