Pros: This Acer branded display (X233Hbid Black 23" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor) has proven to be a quality purchase and continues to perform for almost two years.

Cons: None. I was upset for weeks because the display was smearing pixels horizontally; but to Acer's credit, it was user-error. My VGA cable was coming loose and as you know when even one pin fails to make full contact, the display can be impacted. I just had to turn it around and tighten the VGA cable connection. The Acer brand in 2010 and beyond continues to impress.

Pros: I love this monitor. The colors are bright and vibrant, excellent resolution, and overall high quality. No dead pixels or blemishes of any sort, and is still going strong after nearly a year.

Other Thoughts: I've always trusted Acer, and they've always been good to me. I've bought three monitors from them and have never had any problems or dead pixels.

Pros: I now own 5 Acer monitors, and they all continue to perform very well. The price and size and clarity are what got my interest in the first place.

Pros: BIG is the one word to describe it. Excellent quality on my computer running at 1920 by 1080 resolution and looks beautiful. I hooked up to my DVR via HDMI and crystal clear. no dead pixeals and overall good quality monitor

Pros: This was my first monitor upgrade from CRT and it was a great move (duh!) While the g2g rate is slower, if you are using it with an older 64-bit machine it does about everything you need, and a resolution much better than 1024x768 is very good when you are playing games like Sins Of A Solar Empire and Steams offerings. I actually prefer the v-leg stand of this monitor to the others in the series. No pixel problems and easy to work with the connections.

Cons: g2g is not 2ms. Not the best to watch dvds on as it's a high def monitor, but if you get something like a vizio bluray player that upconverts that could be a nonexistant problem.

Other Thoughts: If they did a revision of this monitor with a 2ms g2g response, i'd get that instead, but you should look at the 24" versions as they seem just a bit better while at the same price range. Still, it's great to get for your first widescreen lcd.

Pros: vibrant colors, 1080i cable box looks great on it.

Cons: cheap stand, monitor is pretty wobbly if you move or touch it
