Pros: Good picture while operational

Cons: First one I ordered a little more than a year ago died before a month of use. RMA'd for the current one back in January 2010, but it's now having power issues and isn't turning on.

Other Thoughts: Bought on sale, need to stop falling for this trap.

Other Thoughts: bought this for my Mom for Christmas to replace her 17inch monitor. She love it. as usual great service from new egg.

Pros: when i received the monitor i was very happy with the size.stand was easy to put together..great 2nd monitor...

Cons: when i turned it on everything worked and looked good from the start but as i got online and looked at web pages i saw the color was messed up a lil..but after installing the software that came with it and adjusting the green and red balance it works like a charm!!great buy!!!

Pros: vvery nice monitor. i have a acer 19" thats flat black. but i like the glossy finish on this one. I took it out of the box and was like dang this thing is big. enough to do any task on.

Cons: doesnt make me pancakes in the morning?

Pros: Good looking! Nice sturdy attractive stand. Great widescreen aspect ratio and was as easy to set up as "plug it in and turn it on" It came with software that I haven't even felt the need to install yet. For my system it worked great right out of the box and no dead pixels! After booting, I just had to adjust my resolution to take full advantage of this beautiful monitor!

Cons: Sits a little low on the desk compared to the CRT monitor it replaced. I think it's just a matter of getting use to it. It does adjust angle up to help with this.

Other Thoughts: My only concern was with the listing, where I couldn't find out exactly what kind of DVI cable I would need. So I waited till it got here before going out to buy one. Imagine my surprise and pleasure upon opening the shipping box to find the unit comes with both a DVI-DVI AND a VGA-DVI cable! I couldn't be happier with a monitor and with a factory 3 year guarantee, to me, it's a great value!

Pros: These are the absolute best for your money monitor out there!!! I bought one last year for a customers build still working like new.Bought my wife one last week. Buying another for myself this week. If it broke send it back moron. You are not without a monitor unless you were stupid and threw your old one to the trash! Get REAL!

Other Thoughts: I love how people buy something and it has a problem and they go on here ranting about what trash it is. BEFORE they even get a RMA! GET REAL! You will not be more happier with this monitor!

Pros: It was cheap - I guess you get what you pay for.

Cons: Half the time this monitor will not turn on - very frustrating. I have only owned this monitor for about 6 weeks and conveniently this started happening just after my 30day RMA window closed. I buy a lot of stuff from Newegg and I think it's disappointing that they would sell such low quality items. Definately does not help their credibility with me.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this product unless you are really ready to eat the cost in the event that it fails.

Pros: Dirt cheap (cost), looked great when it worked, fit perfectly in my desk

Cons: Dirt cheap (construction), the control buttons started strobing within days, I'd be gaming along and suddenly the monitor menu button would decide it had been pressed and blocked the center of the screen for ~10 seconds or until i could get it to acknowledge me pressing the cancel button. Now 3 months later, the power button decided it didn't want to work anymore.

Other Thoughts: My last monitor lasted 7 years, this one lasted 3 months, won't be buying another discount special. Roll the dice if you're feeling lucky, it was a great bargain while it was working, but I tried my chances and lost.

Pros: This is a great monitor at a great price. For daily work, it is very easy on the eyes.

Cons: Flimsy base. The 2 point base makes the monitor easy to tip over if you try to turn it for someone else to look at.. They should have made it square, or at least added a third (tri-pod) leg.

Pros: Great value for the price, decent picture.

Cons: Within the first 2 weeks, the monitor first started having issues from turning back on from standby mode. The light would stay orange even though the PC resumed outputting a monitor signal.

Within about a month, the monitor stopped turning on completely. I'm in the process of shipping it back to Acer now for a replacement, but I'm pretty annoyed that it went bad so quickly. Previous experiences with Samsung and Asus monitors were much better.

Other Thoughts: Spend a little extra for a better brand like Samsung, it will save you the hassle down the line.
