5 out of 5 eggsBest little projector ever

Pros: Great pic in a decently lighted room. got my pc to do 1920 x 1080 res. on the projector

Cons: no air filter (hows that gonna work with all the dust?)
pumps out alot of heat within 30 seconds of use it gets hot!

Other Thoughts: after about 5 mins of first use whole conference room smelled like something was burning.

5 out of 5 eggsAcer's best bang for your buck

Pros: 1024-768 Resolution
Very bright
Cheap!!!
Very Reliable
Great Quality and focus

Cons: vga connection for computers, not dvi

Other Thoughts: So I needed to cover my apartment wall with something taht can play some trippy visualizations and watch movies. I got this bad boy setup up and now i have a 200 inch screen that I can hook up my laptop and watch movies, play n64 drunk, or smoke a lil g4nja when we throw parties and turn off the lights, and use winamps visualizer to enchance the drug/alchohol experiences. I watch blue ray movies on this, and its crystal clear, belive me when i say that, it is crystal clear, sh11t. Gladiator was like, perfect. dark knight 2. 200 inch screen for 500 bux vs 60 inch tv for 1200 bux? you do the math. btdubs chicks dig this.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet

Pros: Best bang for your buck. I would recommend this over any TV. I'm not big into paying for "hd" service from the cable company so i'm not worried about getting 1080i. If you want to spend 4 times as much to get slightly better quality, I'd go with something else. My screen is sooooo huge , and in a small room too.

Cons: The manual isn't descriptive. Lense had a spot on it (glue or something) so I had to get a professional lense cleaner for about $11.99 at BB.

Other Thoughts: I made my screen out of 3 layers of white felt and a frame built from wood. I couldn't see spending a bunch of money on a screen. I know a guy that has one and the picture looks better on the wall.
The rules say I cant say anything about adult programming being awesome on this huge screen...

4 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: + Good value.
+ High quality picture.
+ Image sync is fairly quick.
+ Small and light.
+ Fan is quiet.
+ Supports DLP-Link (more options for 3D in the future).
+ 3D Vision mode AND DLP 3D with L/R Reversal selections in the Projector Menu.

Cons: - No HDMI in (so you may need to 'convert' from DVI-VGA-image quality is still excellent for the price).
- I found my 25' VGA cable did not permit 3D Vision detection (switched to the VGA cable it came with resulted in display detection by windows 7 and 3D Vision detection). This may be a signal degradation issue resulting from poor cable. I will test with others.
- 3D Vision locked to 1024x768 (Not a big deal for video. May be an issue for some in gaming).

Other Thoughts: I bought this for 3D Vision Stereo big screen gaming. Little to no ghosting in all my tests. Pleasantly small and quiet. Very nice visual quality (I have worked with 6 other projectors and this is by far the best value).
Note: If you want to use this for 3D Vision gaming - You may want to spend the extra money for a 1280x800 or 1280x720 NATIVE resolution 3D projector for widescreen. Otherwise you will not be disappointed for the price.

I was actually able to get this projector to work at 85hz in 3D at different resolutions, but I had to turn off 3D mode and flip my nvidia glasses. Keep in mind I also have a Viewsonic Fuzion 3D monitor - so I enabled 3D vision through CRT configuration and as long as you set it to 85 hz or higher it will enable the emitter. Slight flicker and increased ghosting at 85hz but it did work. I think this projector will be of even higher value for when ATI comes onto the 3D scene with a more 'open' model. GO 3D!!! (Finally)

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Projector

Pros: Very bright, and great picture. I am very happy with this purchase.

Cons: It's a little awkward to set up with Nvidia 3d Vision because of cable limitations, and no DVI or HDMI inputs, but nothing disastrous.

Other Thoughts: As someone stated in another review, with 3-day shipping, I got it in 1 day. Keep up the good work Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Using as a living room Playstation/movie/laptop hookup in the evenings -- the projector is perfect for this, assuming you have a stereo to plug audio into.

Cons: No HDMI input, but then again this isn't a "Home Theater" projector (it's also 1/3 the cost).

Slight fan noise when you're sitting close to it, but no biggie if you've got sound on.

Other Thoughts: Good lord Newegg, I ordered this Thursday morning and it was here by Friday on 3-day shipping! You always make me happy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat projector

Pros: This is a replacement for a projector I bought 2 years ago. It is about half the size of the other one. It seems brighter than the other one and much clearer. I also use this as a monitor for my computer so it is excellent for reading and other online things.
The bulb is a lot less wattage than my previous projector but brighter.
All in all after 5 days it is great. Hope it continues to be this good.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Great for 3d Vision, and supports DLP-Link (though I have not used the latter.) Quite bright, on my 60" temporary screen I can keep it in eco mode when using 3d-vision (which reduces the effective brightness significantly.) Zero ghosting in 3d.

Cons: No Harmony remote profile, the eco mode code from the x1260 won't work on this, have to go into the menu to change it. Low resolution. 4x3 aspect ratio means cinema aspect ratio movies (2.35:1,) only use a bit more than half the screen.

Other Thoughts: Toying with getting 2 more of these for an amazing 3d-vision surround setup. Pretty much ideal for 3d-vision surround, as the narrow aspect ratio makes the screen a bit more normal when 3 are used side by side (4:1 AR, whereas 16x9 displays will have a 5.3:1 AR.)
Coupon codes can make this an absolute steal.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT FOR THE MONEY!

Pros: Very bright! I am using it for my xbox360,cpu and as a tv in my media room. It will also be used for outdoor parties, and football games! It works good with lights on, the room it is currently in is 18x22 with 4 4ft fluorescent lights and even with the lights on you can still see what is on the screen! With the lights out... it is stunning

Cons: takes a little while to shutdown, and doesn't come with any printed manuals, it is all on cd

Other Thoughts: I believe that the 2500lumens may be slightly exagerrated but none the less it works great for the money I would buy again!
