5 out of 5 eggsNice Monitor

Pros: Affordable 1080p monitor. Very nice. I use it for gaming and it has very good picture quality. Fits on my table nicely. Very nice packaging. Really big.

Cons: Doesn't have HDMI input. But DVI gets the job done. I wish it was 2ms response time and 120hz. Doesn't counts for an egg xD.

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome but dead pixels

Pros: Awesome size, great that it's 1080p resolution.

Cons: no brightness changing, buttons on bottom do not work, instructions almost non existent. After about one year, more than several pixels dead all at once. Never had as many problems with Acer products as I have now. Monitor that absolutely sucks, laptop that is artifacting because of dead graphics card fan after only a year, and new laptop had a faulty OS right out of box within last month.

Other Thoughts: Newegg has the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Will never buy Acer products as well

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is one of the best monitors I've purchased. Looks great, easy setup, inexpensive, good color and no dead pixels.

Cons: Sometimes the power button if you push the side of it wont turn on. You have to push right in the middle. Small inconvenience considering all the pros.

1 out of 5 eggsACER AHHHH...

Pros: none.. don't have a choice otherwise I would give 0 rating

Cons: DOA out of the box, unfortunately opened the box after 30 days so can't returned back to Newegg and had to go to customer service. I've never seen customer service like this, you have to go to many steps to prove to own the product in order to talk to a live person.
After spending a long process of connecting and reconnecting they approved to check the monitor and now have to pay to ship a brand new DOA monitor back to them and have to pay out of my pocket for shipping. I will not purchase ACER products after this experience that both monitors are DOA.

Other Thoughts: never buy ACER products again..

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does what it's supposed to, doesn't have any major defects (see cons). It looks good in action, games look nice and movies look crisp.

Cons: Out of box, had a single dead pixel, on the left hand side about 1/3 of the way up the monitor. Not a major annoyance. (see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: I bought this monitor on discount for $100 so for that price I can't complain.

5 out of 5 eggsreview title

Pros: This monitor is amazing, coming from a small little laptop I had some culture shock from this thing for about a week. It's a really nice monitor, nice and crisp graphics, you just can't go wrong here.

Cons: a week of culture shock

Other Thoughts: pikmin 2 is based on slavery.

4 out of 5 eggsWobbling stands for sure

Pros: No dead pixels, plenty bright and color looks good enough for movies, games, and web browsing. Not interested in professional photo editing so no comment there, but at the price you probably shouldn't expect much on that front.

Cons: base is wobbly. I have 2 of these and have then butted up against each other and that significantly reduced the wobbles. As long as you aren't shaking your desk it should be a non issue.

Other Thoughts: would buy a larger single monitor for my purposes as I don't use crossfire of xfinity, but I still don't think it's too small.
