4 out of 5 eggsAWESOME

Pros: This monitor is amazing. It has a beautiful display and it looks very nice.

Cons: The remote broke within a few weeks from falling off the bed. And the buttons didn't work that well on the remote. The buttons on the monitor are hard to find, there should be a light or something to show where they are at.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, TV tuner, huge. Remote comes with batteries!

Cons: No tilt, colors a bit washed out when in a brightly lit room.

Other Thoughts: TV tuner is a huge blessing. Cheapest you'll find south of $300. Lots of inputs.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Shipping was very fast, easy to set up, great picture, works very well with xbox 360 (main reason for purchase), remote easily programmable, and has a lot of input option including 3 hdmi inputs.

Cons: Sound quality isn't great, but you can add speakers to it. Also it is advertised as tilt adjustable; it isn't. I didn't expect it to be by reading the reviews prior to purchase.

Other Thoughts: This monitor is a good for Tv/Gaming/PC, and having all three available for the price is GREAT!

4 out of 5 eggsNo PiP ='(

Pros: Good sturdy Acer, as always. Having the TV option is nice, espcially if your computer is in an office room with no TV. Remote is also convenient.

Cons: Just two things.
1. The moniter does not have a "Picture in Picture" option. Even though the Newegg description didnt say it had one or not, it would be nice if the description has a prompt for "PiP: Y/N".
2. Even though the monitor states 1920x1080 res, when I try to put my computer at this res, the moniter shrinks the screen to a letter box format. In order to remain full screened, I have to keep my res at 1680x1050. This may be a setting i'm overlooking, or it could also be because i'm going through an HDMI cable instead of the VGA port. I don't have that much experience with HD products.

Other Thoughts: On another note, if the moniter does tilt, I haven't figured out how. But, where its at is fine for me. Speakers are also ok, but the speakers that come built into moniters are never really that good anyway. Regardless of the cons above, this moniter is still a great Acer. Cost is high compared to other 23" moniters, but you gotta keep in mind its because of the TV tuner.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Compromises for the Price

Pros: Arrived from Newegg via UPS ground service with no dead or stuck pixels, and in great shape. Great angle of view. Works surprisingly well as a monitor -- text and static images are crisp and legible, better (in fact) than most of the other monitors I have owned. Color rendition is good as well, and it is bright.

Cons: Not the greatest video performer. Somewhat slow, and I have not been able to adjust for really great contrast/grayscale performance while watching video. However, video rendition is good (just not great) -- more than acceptable given this monitor's price point. Definitely not a gaming monitor, but satisfactory for watching Hulu and Netflicks, and very good as a general purpose computer monitor. Despite the Newegg product description, the monitor does not tilt. It lacks any height adjustment as well, but this is made up for by the wide angle of view, which makes it comfortable to view the monitor from higher or lower angles. This monitor is wall or stand mountable, which will allow you to ultimately provide for tilt and height adjustments, albeit at additional expense.

Other Thoughts: I'd buy this monitor again. If you can only afford one monitor, or have only room for one monitor on your desk, this is a good all-round compromise. Large enough and crisp enough to get real work done on your computer, with sufficient video performance to allow you to kick back and enjoy some TV or a movie from time to time, it is a winner. The large array of video and audio input/output options provided on this model only enhance the deal.

4 out of 5 eggsGood monitor, not perfect

Pros: 1. Beautiful picture

2. Plenty of I/O options

3. Price

4. It's also a TV and the tuner works very well. Comes with a remote (and batteries if you can believe it).

Cons: 1. **NOT tilt adjustable, it leans forward a little on the stand which is annoying unti you get used to it.

2. Has a "favorites" feature that is supposed to allow you to flip between channels you have designated as such. Would be very handy except it does not work. In fact, using it messed up my channel config such that I had to have it do the channel search again. Could just be my unit though.

3. No DVI input. Not necessary, but always nice.

4. There's a light on the front panel that's always on. It's blue when you turn it on and yellow when you turn it off. This is a minor issue, but I just don't understand why you would design something that way.

Other Thoughts: Even with its flaws, you really can't beat this: it's two devices for the same price you might pay for each. I also trust Acer a lot when it comes to durability, I've been using their monitors for years and have never had one fail on me. Also, kudos to Newegg once again for the extremely fast processing and delivery.
