Other Thoughts: After abandoning Acer products for over 20 years, due to previous bad experiences with their quality, I thought I give them another chance after all these years! Maybe they have improved!

Big mistake!

I bought this monitor at a local store (well known, huge one).
It completely died on me after 35 days of only evening and weekend use. Store's policy for returns is of course 30 days.

I was able to negotiate with the store's general manager to return the monitor for a credit to by a 24" Samsung monitor.
It was just before Christmas, so I think the Holidays spirit might have played a role here!

So it was returned, and a new Samsung, 24" was purchased at the same time.
I have been very happy with the Samsung monitor.

No way on earth I would ever again consider buying an Acer product. I have seen their products fail on customers, friends, and relatives too many times, too early.

Acer needs to understand that price is not everything.
Quality and reliability is the most important thing to pay attention to.

As for me, it's another lesson learned. I'm done giving Acer anymore chances!

Pros: wow i got this wayyyyyyyy cheaper somewhere else (more then 1/2 off). this monitor replaced my old hannspree 25 in. i can c the difference. this is thin, i mean way thinner then the old 1. cnt complain. all the good input as well.

Cons: nada

Pros: I have this running as my main display in a dual monitor configuration and considering replacing my existing second display as it has better contrast and color saturation then the older one of a premium brand. I have this monitor connected to 2 machines on a kvm switch, the second monitor is on the kvm so this ones auto input selector helps make the transition from system to system much easier.

Cons: Does not have the hardware for use with a wall mount, stand only has a tilt adjustment nothing for height something that a major PC builder includes with the monitor cabinet.

Other Thoughts: if you plan on buying more then one for a multi monitor setup this is a good option, do not mix with other brands as it will not sit at the same height and will likely not match the color temp as it is a current gen model.

Pros: Great picture- the contrast ratio POPS on Blu Rays- The Lorax was so clear in 2D that it seemed as if i had a glasses free 3d monitor at times.... simply amazing.

Cons: I dont have six of them

Other Thoughts: Got this at a local store on sale for much less than newegg... (sorry newegg- but 60 bucks is 60 bucks...)
even at newegg's price though, I would buy more of these. I just happened to luck out with a local sale or I would've purchased here
