5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: Bought this nearly four years ago (in 2011) and use it almost daily, and it still works well. Big, bright, clear, adjustable.

Cons: The power button is on a corner that easily bumps into objects on desk and turns itself off; fortunately it powers back up quickly enough.

Other Thoughts: I use it with a macbook pro (mid 2009) with a mini displayport -> dvi converter (newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812340005) which also works well.

3 out of 5 eggsNot built to last, but it's decent

Pros: Things looked relatively nice.

Cons: It fell once, only about a foot down, and that was the end of that.

Other Thoughts: They aren't built to last but at least they work until they break.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: I love this monitor. A nice, big, quality screen with no dead/stuck pixels.

Cons: Using the menu buttons is a bit awkward. I have to memorize the button order because they are under the monitor. Other than that, its perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsWould Recommend

Pros: Bright. Works great. Stable base.

Cons: The buttons on the bottom of the monitor are kinda hard to operate.

Other Thoughts: I already scratched it in the first two weeks. Not blaming the monitor though, my fault.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Clear picture, sets up fine

Cons: Stand is rather wobbly, and doesn't move or adjust at all. Had to set it up on books to see it correctly.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: _Excellent Price
_Very good color reproduction (especially for a LCD)
_Bright enough screen to be used pretty much anywhere
_Comes with VGA + DVI cables
_Easy to put together
_Has cable lock slots on the back

Cons: _Viewing angle isn't the best I've seen
_Color reproduction isn't up to par with the professional level monitors (of course it isn't priced in that range so it really shouldn't)

Nothing serious

Other Thoughts: Bought two of these for $119.99 each for a architectural drafting, modeling, and rendering PC and have no real regrets.

5 out of 5 eggsBarely good enough for design work

Pros: Finally moving from CRT to LCD. It's much bigger than I thought it would be. Every bit as nice as my 22" CRT. Everything is crisp and bright. Blacks could use a little work but not doing any gaming on it. Design, code, email, net, all look good. Videos are crisp but blacks aren't top of the line.

Running 1680x1050 at 60hz on an older XP system. On screen controls are easy to work with. Honestly don't have any issues with this monitor but my needs are small for it's use. No experience gaming or needing high refresh rates. Movies look good.

Cons: As a graphic designer I'm used to the true color CRT's that offer much better black levels for printing. LCD color still has a long way to go. It's useable for print work but definitely needs a lot of calibrating to get it there and even then it's not going to be perfect. That's my only gripe and it's not worth an egg off because what you get for the price is really really good.

Other Thoughts: Amazing monitor for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGood moniter

Pros: Cheap and quick to set up. 1080p goes nice with my new desktop.

Cons: The base is kinda weird for me, if I pick up the moniter by itself the base will fall off. It doesnt matter because I dont move my moniter, but just pointing it out.

Other Thoughts: Had a bit of a scare, knocked it over in the box with another package that came in. But it ended up being fine, no dead pixels.

4 out of 5 eggsAcer P215H monitor review

Pros: Great buy for a 5ms Full HD 1080p monitor.

Very affordable (tax+shipping+item=$128)

Arrived at my door three days after my online purchase!

Outstanding and beautiful picture quality.

Cons: There is ONE stuck pixel in the lower right quadrant of the monitor.

I don't expect perfection. One stuck pixel is no problem for me. I can only notice it when the screen is black. It is not worth my time or hassle to worry about something as minute as one stuck pixel.
