Pros: The aesthetics are sharp (literally and otherwise). It did not arrive broken or anything. Screen looks fine.

Cons: Screen only looks fine if you don't move around; viewing angles are poor. Takes about 5 seconds to turn on each time, and my 10-year-old 1280x768 takes about 1/4 of that. Contrast and/or saturation seem on the low side.

Other Thoughts: I don't even know why you're reading this on Newegg if it has been discontinued, but why the heck not write.

Pros: Sturdy base, great design

Cons: Worst viewing angles in the history of LCD monitors :(

Other Thoughts: Very horrible viewing angles. If you're not directly level with the monitor, all you'll see are shadows and distorted colors. Luckily I was able to RMA this.

Pros: For the price a great monitor. Good color and good resolution.

Cons: Narrow viewing angle but so what? I sit in front of it, not to the side or 20' away.

Pros: Modern styling, well priced.

Other Thoughts: I really like these model of Acer monitors (bought the 20" version also). Some people might say that looking at the screen off center and you lose picture, but those claims are exaggerated. I recommend and may buy a third.

Pros: HD resolution, Bright picture. Small enough to fit in entertainment center yet large enough to watch movies.

Cons: No HDMI connection.

Other Thoughts: Got this monitor to replace aging SDTV and non-widescreen monitor. Perfect solution for guests who want to watch TV/Movies or surf internet.

Pros: I hated this monitor. The only pro was that Newegg allowed me to return it without paying a restocking fee or return shipping! NEWEGG IS THE GREATEST!

Cons: there is no good way to view this monitor. you simply can't. no matter how you position your head, there is always a part of the screen that will look either bleached or way too dark. seriously keep yourself away from this pile of computer components that was seemingly smashed together at random! stay far far away!

Other Thoughts: don't buy it ever. not even for you worst enemy.

Pros: Decent size, though it isn't the greatest color ever if was very pleased with this monitor for the price ($119.99). Others didn't care for the placement of the buttons, but I don't mind them, even find them intuitive once you use them.

Cons: Like I said, it's not the greatest picture ever, but if you'd rather pump money into other aspects and get a decent sized monitor, this is a good buy for you.

Pros: I absolutely love these LCDs.

I ordered a pair of them and have no regrets. The colors are pretty great and came in with no defects.

Cons: If I had to complain about anything, it'd be the viewing angles and lack of heght adjustment.

The second problem I expected, so it really doesn't count, but the first was suprising. I feel like these LCDs have a limited viewing angle vertically. There's noticable washout on the bottom of these if they're tilted back a bit. It makes them a bit hard to use for graphics and such, but it's not a deal breaker.

Pros: bright, 1080p scale, dvi/vga plug, power efficient. wish i had two more

Cons: no set up on moniter. it automatic does it for you. you can't change its contrast, brightness, or gamma setting. it only can wiggle it back or front.

Other Thoughts: non. ordered it on friday night and recived it on monday morrning. go newegg :)

Pros: Nice picture, HD looks good on it. Pretty cheap.

Cons: Viewing angle is basically a straight line, center and 15 degrees up. The stand is really cheap and fragile.

Other Thoughts: Unless you somehow have a keyboard that's higher than your monitor, it just doesn't work. I have to put a book under the stand to make it tilt far enough forward that I can see it. It's a shame, because it's a decent monitor otherwise, but moving your position just a smidge makes half the screen look black.
