1 out of 5 eggsWorked initially. Failed inevitably.

Pros: Tested it with Dsub and HDMI and it worked fine. Looked great after screen adjustments in the menu.

Cons: -Base requires backing off tilt nut to get it to tilt.
-After testing it I placed it up on a shelf in a closet in a room nobody goes into with its factory dust/shipping cover over it. Fas tforward a few months later now that my PC is done and the backlights are toast in it. If you hold a flashlight up to it you can see the PC output faintly.

Other Thoughts: Took a shot on Acer and missed wide. I should have spent a few more bucks on a reliable brand. Now this thing is out of refund time and I have to ship it to Acer to see if they will fix it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor!

Pros: This monitor has great color, brightness, and looks great for games IMO. Also is very light weight!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I didn't think to check to see what kind of outputs it had before purchasing. I needed a DVI, but it has 2x HDMI and 1x VGA. I'm going to get a new video card so it will still work out okay in the end.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very thin. Good picture, no dip in quality yet. Includes cables and adapters for whatever slot you need to plug these in to. All the pixels live.

Cons: Contrast is way too high. I had to bring the contrast settings down to 0 and brightness to 75 to keep the whites from blinding me while still being able seeing anything dark, and I'd prefer it a bit lower contrast with more brightness still.

It takes 11.5 seconds to turn on, spending the time to tell you that it's an acer monitor, and then energy star; Energy Star!

One monitor has some backlight bleeding around the edges, but unless the whole screen is black it's difficult to see the issue.

Viewing angle can be kind of rough. Lying in bed watching a movie requires some work to keep the top of the screen from looking off color, because the stand doesn't let the monitor tilt forward very far. No problems when in my chair though.

Other Thoughts: Going from a dual 4:3 CRT 19"/17" setup to two of these 23" 16:9, it's hard not to be impressed. Power usage is lower (thanks Kill-A-Watt!) and there's so much more free desk space.

The menus take a little getting used to, but work well.

I didn't get to use the HDMI slots because my video card only has one HDMI slot, and it's partially blocked by my case, so I've only used the analog slot.

5 out of 5 eggsso thin, and nice on the eyes

Pros: thin, light, excellent screen quality, the contrast ratio makes a huge difference when compared to my normal LCD monitor. The greatest con I find is the myriad of input, having a VGA, and two HDMI adapters is a nice feature for sure.

Cons: I get a signal issue when using my component to HDMI adapter for some devices, although I believe it could be related to not having one or more settings properly set.

Other Thoughts: looks good on my desk, with such a small profile it leaves plenty of space for activities on my desk.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: Light
Very clean graphically
Prototype looks great on it
HDMI capability
Seeing as how my old 23inch had a ton of plastic, guess I should of gotten a bigger monitor!

Cons: Buttons on the bottom of monitor, when you have kids they can get over zealous when pressing the power button, pretty minor complaint really, but that's about all I got on it.

Other Thoughts: This is a very good monitor. Nice clean picture, especially when paired with a graphics card that has a HDMI port. So much smaller than my old 23inch monitor that was getting flaky.

4 out of 5 eggsLike Acer any how

Pros: Thin with a great picture.

Cons: No DVI

Other Thoughts: Is DVI dieing out or is this just a way to save cost. Bought it as a second monitor for stock trading but move FBN to that screen because of the great quality even on VGA.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!!

Pros: Big viewing area, 23" is pretty sizeable.
Very clean finish,
Solid base (doesn't wobble)
THIN, this thing is really slim!
2 HDMI ports and 1 VGA is all I really need.
The perfect height for me.

Cons: No VESA mounts
Some more ports could't hurt.
No vertical adjust-ability.

Other Thoughts: I needed a screen that was less than 15.5" so as not to interfere with the sound-bar mounted on the wall right above my desk. This fits PERFECTLY, which is why I bought it.
Other screens this size are very tall but this one is fairly low profile for a 23"er.
All in all, I am ecstatic with this monitor!

5 out of 5 eggsSo fa so good

Pros: Looks very sharp, sleek, light and a vast improvement in picture quality from previous unit.

Cons: Could very well be related to graphics card drivers and not monitor, but had to do some tweaking to get a ~1" black margin from around the outside of my screen. A Google search of my problem and I had the answer in moments and it is unclear whether this is a monitor issue or GPU.

Other Thoughts: I had no idea what I was missing out on not using a 1080P monitor. This thing is 1/5 the weight and volume of my old monitor and is so much sharper.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat screen

Pros: Extremely thin, lightweight monitor. Have had it for ~ a month now, no pixilation, colors look sharp and bright. When I hook most monitors up to my iMac they look dull and pixilated in comparison, this monitor you could hardly tell any difference (and that was using the VGA in)

Cons: Because its so thin, the connectors in the back point straight out instead of down - very minor not worth taking an egg off.

Other Thoughts: I've used a lot of different monitors in different sizes, I own a 27" iMac, have used a 32" HD TV, etc. but have found 23-24" monitors to be the perfect size for me.
