5 out of 5 eggsJust plain GREAT!

Pros: I'm updating my review for this projector..
has an audio in and headphone jack. much needed for night time headphone gaming...
I have computer and and Xbox also my PS3, all hooked to this thing. I have a 9ft screen projected off a white vinyl table cloth. This beast of a model K330, is my go to for a reliable huge screen, for all things.. I got this thing in 2012, and it now 2015. This projector has an average use of 10 to 12 hours of DAILY use... So far in 3 years, the pic still looks as good as day 1.. I got this on sale for $500.. I wish I had more to spend and have gotten 2. This thing just rocks!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Does what it's supposed to and able to play games without any trouble. Hd picture looks great and have no color issues. Even when I was projecting on to a dark blue painted wall.

Cons: Occasionally it has some power issues, perhaps it's just and overheating protection mechanism. Shuts down and must be unplugged from the power source completely. No big deal though as it comes back on and not worth docking any eggs.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine when it was still 600. At this price you really can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice for the price. Love it!

Pros: Small, simple to use, nice at 100" in a dim basement. I don't know why some complain about fan noise. Mine is pretty much silent. It can't be heard if something is playing even 3' from it. No bulbs to change is a huge plus. It's so small I can see taking this out camping, or beaming 120" to a fabric screen hung from the back of my house during parties. It's auto keystone works great.

Cons: The remote is cheap and there is a delay between selected functions. It's like the CPU in it is slow. No zoom, but it's not really a con. You just have to be careful when you mount it.

Other Thoughts: I bought this and 116 x 66 of Carl's Blackout Fabric. I've never had a projector before. I didn't buy a mount or real screen until I figured out what it was like. I hung the fabric with 2 tacks on a wood paneled wall and plugged it in. WOW. I'm doing 100" 16:9 using HDMI and it's great! I'd like a tiny bit brighter, and a tiny bit clearer. But I'd probably want the same of a $1000 projector. Kids, wife, and friends that know projectors are all impressed. I haven't read the instructions yet. I'm beaming Netflix and HD torrent files from a laptop using HDMI and have no issues. I'm running the PC into an Onkyo RC-360, then out to the projector. Scaling using VCL media player works great. This for $399, Onkyo RC-360 for $299, Polk monitor 40 speakers and a Polk 505 Sub. About $1200? into an awesome basement home theater system.

5 out of 5 eggsIt is just amazing

Pros: You never need to concern about the 500 lumens. It is absolutely sufficient for home use if you have a curtain.
I would never consider to buy a TV after I got this. Just have your own screen as big as 100" or bigger in your living room.

Cons: If you would like to play some really high definition video files (maybe 8G for a movie) buy it own, it cannot deal with them well.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for the $$

Pros: Low cost - high return:
Got it for $450 - has 30,000 hours of lamp life (that's like 10years)
TINY - smaller than a cigar box & travels well
EZ set up & can throw and incredibly detailed giant image
Audio out
Multiple Inputs

Cons: fixed lens
lower lumens (but equal or better to a movie theater, actually)
720p tops - not a real issue, tho'
cheap bag (i use a padded one)

Other Thoughts: you need to control light, but prefer a theatrical experience
so if thats not an issue, this blows away 42" - 55" screen - we're watching 80"+ on our wall - and its amazing -
the audio out is a great, handy feature that helps if you take it to a friends
killer for movies, sports, games, events etc

tip: set your cable box to 720p only and you'll be a lot less frustrated (not a fan of hdmi in general)
also - you can get an RGB adapter for about $15 and go component

I own several PJ's, and this one is a fave - really great, inexpensive intro into projectors - highly recommended

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: Large picture for relatively short throw.. 100+ inches from about 13 feet.
Super long bulb life (advertised as such, at least)
Small.. lightweight
Quick on/off as compared to my old optoma.
Pretty good picture.
1080p capable.
I don't see full on double rainbows.

Cons: Slightly louder fan than previous projector.
Very few size adjustment options.. no zoom.. horizontal/vertical shifting... So there's no margin of error in placement.
More picture adjustment needed than I was used to.
slightly dimmer than the old "lamp" projector, but not as noticeable as I thought it'd be.
I'm finding it difficult to get a happy medium between movies/media and regular computer output - the focus is pretty sensitive.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm happy with the purchase. And I believe it will work well for my home theater video device.
It's Nice to have the peace of mind to not have to worry about the bulb. Not blown away as compared to the projector I've been rockin' since 2009, but it does seem to be an improvement.
Was looking forward to playing with 3d on this guy, but realized my receiver isn't HDMI 1.4a compatible.. and I don't really feel like forking out 200 bucks to switch to Nvidia.. Plus the cost of the "vision kit" (I realize there are AMD options available.. but.....)
I'm sure this resolve won't last too long..

4 out of 5 eggsgreat portable theater projector

Pros: -portable - not as small as a pa60g at nearly same specs
-bright under low ambient light
-great 3d using cheap dlp glasses - acer5360 inf allows 720p 120Mhz over hdmi and vga
-has an audio out port. this was why i left out the ml500 as a choice
-includes a lens cover
-uses standard power supply cable (easily find a new one if you need)
-20,000 hour bulb life... i'll never need to change it!
-94" (16:9) display with low ambient and 3d was still very usable
-got it on sale for $100 less than the pa60g (though i still wish i had one, they're so tiny to be so bright!)

Cons: -fan noise - even on eco it's louder than the qumi on full blast. it's about as loud as an old school hsf using a 30mm delta fan. the drone fades out while you watch movies as your focus shifts. it's not as high pitched as the old 46db fans but still pretty loud. eco mode makes it a bit quiter with no noticeable quality loss. no eco mode in 3d however. on 3d it's louder than normal mode.
-focusing is a bit of a chore. small movements are needed to focus and it takes a few back and forth turns to get it right - plus (on mine) the top and bottom are slightly off when focusing

Other Thoughts: great mobile theater. got a dock form my galaxy note 10.1 and hook it up to the PJ with ease. since the gn10.1 can handle just about all formats it's a great little companion for the PJ. getting an mhl adapter for my gnII would be great too. i'm surprized how well 3d works. using stereoscopic player and the acer inf file i can do 3d at 720p over hdmi and vga. without the inf 3d works only over vga at 1024x768 - which wasn't too bad either.

all in all i do not regret my purchase. still having some nagging thoughts to still get the pa60g for extra portability. i just can't find enough reviews about it yet though.
