Pros: The screen is as-advertised, and performs at the level I need it to (General purpose work/play).

Cons: The screen takes about 23 seconds (I timed it) to start from the off state, taking around half to display the 'acer' logo on the screen, the other half to display a low-resolution ugly-looking 'energy star' logo. Since it does not come with some other way to quickly blank/unblank the screen, this delay is quite unacceptable. -2 eggs

Pros: I had gotten this monitor while it was on sale for a great price and I really say that it was worth my money. It's not insanely large, but still, if it were then it wouldn't fit on my desktop. Also that the angle of the monitor doesn't bother me, though it does for some other people as I can see . Really great if you're building a low-budget computer and you want to use this as a starter monitor.

Cons: I have this little green pixel that won't go away on the monitor. It's only one pixel, but still it bothers me. Happens to come when I do anything on the monitor, except for right now as it's mysteriously disappeared. Also the brightness settings could possibly go a bit lower than the lowest setting currently is. Other than that, nothing else.

Pros: -Good price
-Thin for an LCD LED backlight monitor.
-Light

Cons: -Not ideal for gaming as contrast isn't really that great
-Adjustments have to be made to the picture when you turn on the monitor

Other Thoughts: If you're a gamer on a budget, I recommend viewing some other monitor's with better contrast, I record game-play and the outcome of the video has too much contrast even though mine is on 0%.

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these for my triple monitor gaming setup. I only got two right away because I didn't have the funds for a third. I really wanted to build my own triple monitor mount for these, but lo and behold, when they arrived, I realized these weren't VESA compatible. -.5 egg

After plugging them both in, I tried both of them and was pleasantly introduced to vibrant colors.
These things look nice. However, the viewing angles are terrible. -.5 egg Lucky for me, I can deal with it because I'm going to be setting them up in eyefinity, and the usable angles happen to be just right for that.

Pros: It looks like a good deal, a sub $100 20in LED. I never plugged it in, so I no reason to assume all the positive reviews are anything less than true.

Cons: I bought this with the Rosewill arm in the "others bought" section. I decided that I wanted to add a vertically opposed smaller monitor beside my existing 24in widescreen. I neglected to try the manuf site to see if it had the mount to attach to the arm. Turns out it doesn't.

Other Thoughts: I would appreciate it if Newegg would add a y/n field in the details section for if it can be mounted or include a rear pic.

Pros: I ordered 3 of these at 89.99 with free shipping. I haven't bought a monitor in quite some time, so I was very surprised at how thin and light they are. No issues within the first week.

Cons: Viewing angle isn't great, but honestly if your desk is set up correctly you won't have an issue.

Other Thoughts: Getting them on sale with free shipping, couldn't really beat the price for what I got. Remember to be realistic, you're not going a top of the line monitor for 90$.

Pros: Thin, Fairly bright, but that's about it. You get what you pay for at $89, but honestly, I expected a little better.

Cons: Contrast sucks. Colors suck. Display adjustments are limited. Viewing angle isn't great.

Other Thoughts: bought two of these to replace to ancient CRTs. I'm impressed with everything except the vertical viewing angle. If the monitor is pointed directly at you, everything is great, but if your viewing angle is a touch too high or too low (as is the problem when the monitor users range from age 5+) considering the amazing price however, i'm very pleased with my purchase.

Pros: Thin. Sleek. Affordable. Vibrant colors.

Cons: No HDMI option.
