4 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor

Pros: * Great contrast
* Great angle view
* Very thin
* Two HDMI Inputs
* Big 27" screen 1080p. Great for everyday use, reading, surfing web, playing video games, watching movies. If you are a graphic designer or into graphic details, 27" maybe too big for 1080p and you might need to look for 1440p instead.
* Good price

Cons: * No manual switch input button. I really like this function from previous monitor, allowing you to switch between HDMI inputs from one button. This monitor does perform auto HDMI switching. However, one device needs to be off in order for it to auto switch to the 2nd running device. You can manual switch input by browsing through the monitor config screen, it's not quick an efficient.
* Cannot adjust the monitor height up and down. You can change the monitor viewing angle up and down.
* The built-in speaker sounds horrible. There are absolutely no mid and bass frequency.

Other Thoughts: Great monitor for the price. It's still running great.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good

Pros: Large;
Good colors (IPS);
Unexpectedly sturdy and stable for such an unusual design;
Controls easily visible and accessible;
Bought inexpensively :)

Cons: Not easy to adjust, though the height is adequate.
Screen glare due to mirror finish; take care to have neutral dark background behind you.

Other Thoughts: Not ideal, but excellent value for the money.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor, Terrible Stand

Pros: The display looks great! A major upgrade from my previous monitor.

Cons: The stand is awful, it wobbles back and forth at the slightest movement. It is very annoying when the monitor shakes when I am typing on the keyboard. The monitor does not have DVI, only VGA and HDMI, so that was a bummer.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid purchace, amazing deal.

Pros: Great display, very thin. Clear picture. I really like the connections on the base rather than the normal upside-down ports. IPS is great, I will probably never buy a non-IPS screen again. Though I paid much less that the price it is showing me now.

Cons: None so far.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic For the Price!

Pros: The contrast is fantastic. Extremely bright whites and very deep blacks. Colors are very vivid, and the images are very smooth. Has some nice heft to it as well.

Cons: The arm connecting the monitor to the base.

Other Thoughts: In regards to the arm, do not be drawn away from the monitor because of that. It's extremely solid, and the hinges keeping everything together are very strong.

However, if you're like me, and don't read the manual cover-to-cover, when setting the monitor up, check under the base. There are two bolts (with little handles to tighten them with!) Get your monitor to the height and tilt you prefer, then tighten those bolts.

I didn't know they were there, and when my chair bumped into my desk, it was enough force to send the thing off kilter. So, now I've got a broken monitor on my hands.

However, don't let that steer you away. This is a fantastic monitor, as long as there's no sort of user error!

4 out of 5 eggsGood Monitor Terrible Speakers

Pros: The size is great, the picture is very clear and bright.

Cons: This is a glossy display so there is some reflection. Terrible sound, like listening through a cell phone, you should just give up on these speakers.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Big,beautiful and thin.

Cons: Not vivid and bright in color. The colors on the screen look pile compare to my Asus monitor. The screen itself looks like it's about to fall off because it's held up by the bottom plastic.

5 out of 5 eggsnice monitor

Pros: I'm going to start out by saying that it has an amazing picture. I've had know problems with the picture fitting this monitor. It was easy to set up, I'm pleased with this monitor, and there's no broken pixels.

Cons: none at this time.

Other Thoughts: I'm running two AMD RADEON 7870 DD two GB in crossfire, so the picture is AMAZING. One of these days I will put up a video of my build.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: Pros:

* Got it for $199 on sale. Amazing deal.
* Vibrant colors, and with IPS you receive great viewing angles with no image-loss.
* Very, very thin

Cons: Cons:

* As some reviewers have said, the image shows there is no bezel. But in fact, there is a bezel on the top, left, and right sides. The bottom side has a small 1/16" bezel; barely noticeable.
* Not good for multiple monitor set-up in my opinion due to the random bezel.
* According to another reviewer, the monitor cannot be mounted in standard fashion. I will look into this soon too

Other Thoughts: Overall, for $199, this was a steal. For $299, not so sure.

4 out of 5 eggsbeautiful display, some limitations (review based on $199 price)

Pros: Beautiful looking display. I think these look extremely nice. That's what you buy a monitor for, right?
-2 HDMI inputs is nice (so I have my server on the second input in case I need to switch over).

Cons: Biggest: no standard monitor mounts. You must use the stand, you can't hang it from a standard display mount. Also, even if you're a diyer, the electrical runs through the stand, so you can't really get around it.
smaller cons:
-I would like to have a DVI input.
-The speakers are total trash. Significantly worse than my laptop built-in speakers.
-1080p is the low end of acceptable resolution for this size display (imo).
-no vertical height adjustment, and they sit low. Get a stand.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these at steep discount ($199/ea) and am extremely happy with the rig *at that price*. You can imagine I'm very pleased with a dual 27" ips 1080 rig for <$400 total. If I paid list (~$800), I would rate it lower.
I don't have an eye for color accuracy, so I don't have any input there.
