4 out of 5 eggsAlmost

Pros: HDMI, LED, Bigness

Cons: Please stop including the speakers if you can't make them loud. I just need to listen to voice messages. If I can't find a monitor with loud enough speakers, then I will need to buy 300 sets of speakers. No wonder people are moving to Mac.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor, terrible speakers

Pros: Great picture and a nice slim design

Cons: The built in speakers are a joke. I can barely hear anything with the volume cranked up.

3 out of 5 eggsOnly worth it, when on sale.

Pros: At $150 price point, this monitor was certainly worth it. Great picture quality, solid resolution, and the size (24'') makes it above average (21.5'') without destroying your eyes. The monitor itself is not bad looking either with the clean edges and simple but nice lit up power button. As long as you have this on your desktop and not mounted on a wall, you should have no trouble with the video cable plug ins, which point straight out instead of down. Other reviews say that the buttons on the bottom of the screen are hard to find or use, but once you find the buttons it won't take long to appreciate their hidden aesthetic.

Cons: The built-in speakers - which were a selling point when deciding to buy this monitor - are not worth it. Trying to save on maybe $20 or $40 by not having to buy separate speakers turned out to be a bad decision, since the built in speakers in this monitor are poor quality and took a little tinkering to get working properly. Of course, nobody can expect high quality sound from built-in speakers, but these speakers are barely audible and awful for music, videos, or games.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this monitor was definitely worth the on-sale $150 price point. However, if the monitor was over this price - I can't say I would recommend.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The color is beautiful, the tilt does exist and is just enough for high/low chairs, and the power button is obviously distinct, even for those dark hours.

Cons: None as of this moment.

2 out of 5 eggsYou probably shouldn't

Pros: When it works it is an amazing display. Crisp and clear. Game systems and PC look great on it.

Cons: I bought two when there was a sale on them and one of the first ones had two dead pixels out of the box. Just recently got it back from an RMA and hooked it up. When checked on a white background I quickly noticed that there was a dead pixel in almost the center of the screen.

Other Thoughts: I have been getting half the dead pixels through RMA so I am hoping that the next one I get back will have nothing wrong with it.

5 out of 5 eggsBest monitor I've had

Pros: Perfect colors
Great screen size, also nice and slim.
Lightweight, thought still heavy enough to bloody my nose when it fell on my face (involved ducktape; atypical usage)

Due to my jury rigging this thing has fallen over twice and fell on the floor once, still works flawlessly.

This is the best monitor in this price range I know of.

Cons: Its very bright even on 0 brightness, Its fine if you keep your room dimly lit

3 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor, terrible repair service

Pros: Very decent monitor for the price, crisp picture, HDMI port is nice and not as common as it should be

Cons: After well over a year, the monitor started rebooting randomly. Sent in for repairs, monitor comes back a month later with a giant shadow on the board. Fought with customer support for a week to get them to supply a shipping label, and the monitor comes back a month later with a white spot in the corner.

Other Thoughts: As soon as this monitor shows problems, buy a different one, because you'll waste more than its price in shipping and waiting.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Upgrade

Pros: So far no problems. Good, sharp, bright display. Easy set up. I've played a few games with it and it will take some getting used to. This monitor is an upgrade from my first monitor an Acer V223. Going to watch some blue ray movies on this quite a bit since my rig has 5.1 surround. No problems with the base, screws are tight so everything is firm.

Cons: I would have to agree with some of the other reviews here, I don't like the fact that the connections are sticking out the back. At least the power connector has a 45 degree plug, though my HDMI sticks out the back. Oh, and the buttons on the bottom, with no descriptions of they're functions. I had to figure them out on my own. Could have looked at the manual, but I won't remember them without actually doing it myself.

Other Thoughts: It was a good deal when the reg price is 199.99. I'm satisfied.
