5 out of 5 eggsThis time, Acer has aced it!

Pros: 1-Price: I think this the best part of this projector.
2-Contrast ratio: 10000:1 gives really high colour quality picture.
3-Design: It's compact design not only makes it look good, but it is also super portable and handy.
4-3D: Do I need to elaborate this?

Cons: 1-3D: Though the native resolution is 720p, for 3D maximum supported resolution is 1024x764.
2-Design: It is so cute, I keep looking at it while watching movies! ;)
3-Adaptor: Acer, really? If you could make the adapter slightly larger, we would be able to use it as the base stand for the projector!

Other Thoughts: I've never been so happy with my purchase before!(Thank you Acer for making it, and Newegg for the great price)
This projector is basically for those who have everything settled up in a movie theater setup and just need something for the display output. Though the lumens are less, in a dark room they're more than enough.
I've been using it for four months now, and with a low budget screen, 5.1 speakers and cheap 3D-glasses I've my nights going really great.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: -VERY small (promotion picture is deceiving). It can pretty much fit in one hand.
-Great picture (for the price point)
-Shoots far. I have the projector sitting ~15' from the screen and it projects very well given the circumstances.
-TON of menu options for doing darn near anything you want.

Cons: -Loud. Slightly underrated is the amount of noise it will make. It's small and of course it runs hot so just be aware having it next to you there will be some sound due to a fan coming out of it (obviously).
-Poor documentation
-Sound output is poor. Grab a soundbar or 5.1 with a receiver or something. The latter is the route I took and it works great.
-You MIGHT have to angle it when trying to get the perfect size. I had to because of a lack of sizing options. This was nearly enough for me to dock it 1 egg but to be honest the remedy is easy. Just throw something under it or plan ahead.

Other Thoughts: -Hot. Not a con because all projectors will be hot. But it's worth noting.

As noted elsewhere, there really isn't a whole lot of options for resizing the image. So placement is key for the projector.

-Doesn't have any other sound/video option other than Universal I/O and HDMI. I don't rate this as a con because you should know it going in and the size honestly doesn't allow for a ton of options.

I gave it 5 stars due to the price coupled with the output the projector does at that price. The picture is crisp and clean and I honestly couldn't ask for anymore out of a $330 projector. It is also highly portable. The only "loose end" is the power cable not being universal but who cares.

4 out of 5 eggs30K Hours, 720p

Pros: This projector looks great on my 100" 1.3 gain 16/9 screen. I am willing to bet it will still look great on a 120" inch screen. Just make sure you use it in a room where you can control the light. But even with moderate light, it still looks amazing.

Cons: Speaker is meh... Get a HDMI receiver/sound bar.
Wish it had more audio out options (HDMI only)
No image size options, so postion of the projector is key.

Other Thoughts: At 30k hours, you will never have to worry about the bulb. It is made to last the life of the projector. That's a huge plus.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Good image quality in lightly lit room .. though 500 lumens.
- very mobile
- long lamp life
- Good value for money
- No observable major difference between this and w1070 for average viewer.

Cons: - remote sucks
- very less documentation
- was unable to get netflix 3D working .. maybe only PC 3D

Other Thoughts: Anyways, i prefer 1080p projector on 100 inch screen since I watch from 8-10 feet.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent projector

Pros: I bought this projector for watching movies at home, replacing a 720p darkchip3 projector that died. I was attracted to it's low cost, nice specifications, long lamp life and theoretically higher reliability compared to traditional DLP. I'd say the subjective image quality is generally the same as traditional DLP with reduced sharpness and a better color gamut. Compared to 720p 3LCD technology it's a big improvement.

- 4x color wheel equivalent (I measured this by comparing the blue refresh rate to two other DLP projectors with known color wheel speeds)
-Excellent native contrast/black levels with dynamic black off, subjectively a bit better than Darkchip3
-Wider color gamut than traditional DLP, very close to Adobe RGB
-Richer colors than lamp based dlp, no mustardy yellows
-Meets SMTPE brightness standards for movie theaters on a 92 inch screen
-Image still looks great with a little bit of ambient light (better than I guessed)
-Brighness is very even across the screen.
-Out of the box contrast is great with gamma set to #4
-No lamp flicker like non led projectors
-Theoretically better relibility due to lack of mechanical color wheel and hid bulb
-low power consumption
-Much less landfill at end of life than traditional DLP projector or LCD panel TV.

Cons: -Lower sharpness when fed native resolution due to the diamond pixel configuration. Because the pixels are not on a rectangular grid the signal must be resampled, reducing sharpness. This effect can be reduced for video, static images and powerpoint by feeding the projector a higher resolution signal (like 1080p), though I recommend native resolution for a desktop environment.
-Lens is not as sharp as other DLP projectors I've had, but not bad.
-No optical zoom! No placement flexibility whatsoever.
-Rainbows are still pretty obvious despite the 4x refresh rate (Over time my brain has learned to tune the rainbow effect out, but when I get a new projector and I'm analyzing the image I notice them more)
-Fan sound is a bit grating
-Out of the box color is oversaturated and can't be adjusted with some input resolutions
-Out of the box tint is off and can't be adjusted with some input resolutions. Red looks pinkish/salmon color. With minor adjustment color looks great.
-I was excited about the dynamic black function, but it's total garbage because of the obvious way the projector modulates the brightness. Sometimes it's like lamp flicker. Fortunately the contrast is still excellent with dynamic black set to off.
-I'd like to see a longer warranty, many data projectors come with 3 years at the moment.

Other Thoughts: I watch a 92 inch screen at a distance of 13 feet, and the brightness seems just right in a darkened room. This setup gives me a viewing angle of 29 degrees, which I think is an good compromise between screen size and visual acuity. Standard definition content like DVD doesn't look too blown up, but the screen is large enough to give an impressive theater experience.

5 out of 5 eggsK132

Pros: Very sharp and clear image even with room lights on. The manual focus was easy to use and I was able to accurately focus the image area. The menu has a lot of choices and there is even one for a screen color adjustment. I caught it on sale for $349 so that was a super great price. It comes with a variety of cables and a carrying pouch for the unit but you are on your own for the accessories.

Cons: There are two different models in the instruction pamphlet. This is the one that only has an HDMI input. It only has a small speaker and no audio out. I would rather process the sound form the feeding component and an audio system except when on the road. The built in speaker sounds a little tinny but, acceptable. The unit does get rather warm, I thought that the LED would run cooler

Other Thoughts: A case that would hold the cables as well would be nice. A USB or SD input would be a great addition along with a mini-stereo jack. I do not currently have any 3D stuff to test that with so, I do not know how well that works

5 out of 5 eggssimply awesome

Pros: stunning picture for movie night. We play movie files from an android stick through the hdmi, use the universal port sound out to a stereo amplifier via a 3.5mm to rca converter and 10meter long stereo rca cable. remove our tapestry velcroed to the wall, take the projector out of a drawer, boot it up in seconds and we have a ten foot brilliant picture on a white flat painted wall and great soundstage for movie nights.

Cons: tiny fan can be overheard at quiet passages, while the projector has very good keystone correction, the focus issue is prominent if the angle of projection is too steep, easy fix to put it on a high enough platform

Other Thoughts: much more portable than large TVs and many projectors

1 out of 5 eggsuneven focus

Pros: picture looks good when it's focused

Cons: first one sent had uneven focus issues, when i focused the bottom right the top left went out of focus, no re-positioning or anything helped at all, had to send it back.

Other Thoughts: got a 2nd one and although the uneven focus issue is a bit resolved, still it's slightly out of focus. Also, Acer customer support is terrible.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good

Pros: Currently projecting on a 106" screen and the picture is great. I use HDMI, and do not care about the other ports. In day light, the contrast is not good, but I knew that when I was buying a LED projector. Love the long bulb life and low heat emission.

Cons: Being too small, it only has one mounting point, which is not strong enough, so ceiling mount is a bit hard. The remote is cheap, and hard to use, I have to push the button a few times until it does something.

Other Thoughts: Of course, 1080p is better, but this is not, so no need to compare it with one. The main issue with LED projectors is the brightness and contrast, but for me and my kids, the picture is perfect, even on a large screen. We do not watch movies during the day, so not an issue. I wish it had zoom, better remote and better mounting slots, which would make it excellent for home theater use.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Item!

Pros: Light and compact.
Easy to setup
Clear and relatively bright pictures
MHL works for GS3/4, but need 11pin to 5pin adapter
Quiet, but gets a little bit warm after 10+ minutes
Start up time is fast and shutdown time is even faster!

Cons: The multipurpose port doesn't do anything and the manufacturer doesn't sell any cable that plugs into it.

Other Thoughts: In the user manual, they mention a K135 version that supports wifi...interesting.
