4 out of 5 eggsQuality display, super heavy

Pros: For the price, this is easily one of the best touch screen IPS displays you can get. I've had no issues with the touch functionality - bought this to supplement my non-touch windows laptop.

If you plan to keep this on it's stand, the kickstand style arm for it works fairly well.

USBs are a nice bonus, especially since you have to run a USB to your computer for the touch to work anyways.

Color range, responsiveness, black levels, and viewing angles are all pretty optimal for the price point.

Cons: Very heavy, won't work with most monitor arms. I made the mistake of getting a monitor arm incapable of handing the weight of this monitor, so i couldn't have a 'floating' monitor to switch from comfortable positions of regular use and touch use on the fly. Shoot for a 15+ lb rating if you go that route.

The clear plastic on the bottom is a little flimsy. Hasn't broken yet because I've been careful, but I can see this having issues. Honestly might try to just remove it since I don't functionally need it, thanks to the monitor arm I mentioned above.

Other Thoughts: The entire screen is a flat, glass surface. This provide a nice glossy look but might irk those who prefer matte displays - though I would say its a matter of personal preference that happens to be a con for most people.

5 out of 5 eggsEye candy plus touch = AWSOME

Pros: Great color, amazing viewing angles, very responsive to touch,

Cons: Had to use lower resolution to make it fit right, but i feel the pros far outweigh the cons.

Other Thoughts: The glass runs out to the edge of the frame and could break from side impact, but the bottom side is protected.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it

Pros: The display is amazing.

Cons: In every other fashion this monitor stinks.
It uses generic drivers for it when they clearly don't work on q Window 8 machine. What would happen is you would type on say a word document, and as soon as you stop typing for about two seconds, the cursor would lose focus and go to the top of the screen. The cursor would get stuck there. I thought it was because the monitor was dirty and was sensing something up there as it's a touch screen. Not the case. Called Acer support - What I was told was it was the computer. Keep in mind that I had two monitors before installing this to replace one and those monitors worked. So it's not the computer. It's the driver that they don't want to update. When I removed it from service and put another monitor in place that's not a touch screen - it works without flaws. Another thing is if you hang this monitor on a stand be prepared that it will hang lower than your other non-touch monitors as the screw holes are higher up on the monitor for the flip stand placement on the back. The next thing is you can't return this to NewEgg unless you get a replacement. Well because of the losey support I got from Acer why would I want another monitor that will have the same issue?

Other Thoughts: If Acer support would have not blamed the computer right off the bat, I would have been willing to work with them to figure out what's going on. The next thing is tech support is probably outside the USA which is terrible as they don't speak clear English. They felt that the normal PNP monitor drivers would work instead of knowing that they may be the cause. The computer will obey the drivers. If those drivers are wrong then who is responsible for updating them - the manufacture not HP.
