Pros: - Name Brand Bang for your Buck in 2K monitors. You have a known brand with good support and warranty options.

Cons: - Not designed to be rotated 90 degrees (vertically).
- Stand height not adjustable.
- Not the best color if you are picky.
- The speakers are typical "monitor speakers" - if you actually find of speakers built into a monitor that are any good it may be a first.
- May not work as 2k with all video cards. Not the monitors fault. This is a common problem for 2k and 4k monitors - do your research and see if your graphics card supports the resolutions.
- TN Panel
- Bezel is kind of thick if you are using in a dual monitor setup.

Other Thoughts: I am giving it 5 stars because it does what it is designed to do for the price very well. Is it the ultimate 2k monitor with a ton of bells and whistles? No but if you are looking for a quality name brand 'budget' monitor with a high pixel density this is a very good one. At the sale price it is impossible to beat in that category today.

I rolled out a dozen last fall and they are all working fine. The users all love them. They are great for office tasks. You can pretty much split the screen and comfortably see 2 programs at once. I have them set up for users that work in software development or work with databases and large excel documents.

If you are a designer that needs to rotate the monitor and needs great color quality, someone that wants adjustable height or wants the vivid colors from IPS and equivalent panels or a non-existent bezel you are going to need to spend a few more dollars.

Be warned, text will be smaller than on a 1080 27" - more like a 21" - by default. I personally love that.

Some of the complaints I seen appear to be users not knowing what they are buying or what to expect. Please do your research into what you need, get and can expect from monitors above 1080 resolutions (that means 2k, 4k, etc.).

Pros: Was great for 35 days

-My only real complaint about this monitor is text. It looks horrible. I tried adjusting ClearType in case it would help, but it didn't. I know i'm comparing this to my $1,000 Dell 30" which is unfair, but I really expected text to be better. Unless you work in Photoshop all day, text really should be something a monitor, any monitor, excels at. This is using the default DisplayPort cable. I'm going to switch to HDMI when I get a chance, but I doubt it'll make a difference since digital is digital, after all. My best guess is the monitor may be doing some kind of oversharpening of the image, and, unfortunately, there is no way to turn off sharpening in the OSD to test.

Other Thoughts: -This is probably a good monitor if you have to have a big monitor with this resolution at a very cheap price point. I bought this for a neighbor who loved my Dell 30" but didn't love its price. This monitor is suitable for his needs, but if you use a monitor a lot or a picky techie like me, I'd suggest saving up and spending a bit more money on a higher-end monitor.

Pros: The picture is excellent. It is not IPS, but has a good viewing angle.

Cons: The stand is cheap, and might be tricky to remove if you want to switch to a VESA mount down the road. Using an analog input cable for sound makes the speakers almost unusable, they are fine if the sound comes through the DVI or other cable.

Other Thoughts: Check your intended use. If you want to use Office 2010, other older programs, or surf the internet then you might be better off with a 24" monitor that is 1920x1080. If you want to be amazed by the pictures you have already taken with your phone or camera then this is great. If you want to watch QHD videos online check your intended site at 1920x1080 during peak times. YouTube works great for me at QHD, but some others have trouble maintaining HD and sometimes even SD so reliable QHD may not be possible. If you want to use it for games, graphics cards that can feed it are expensive.

Pros: I searched high and low, and this monitor met my pricing and quality needs. It came undamaged, with no dead pixels or noticeable light bleeding. I put the stand together, which wasn't hard at all, and stood it up. I don't get what people are saying about the wobbly stand - this one wobbles less than my other two monitors.

The monitor is a bit bright, which is fine. The clarity is amazing. Colors are great, response time seems good. It's so huge! Compared to my older, smaller monitors with lower resolution, it'so amazingly sharp and I'm stunned at the clarity.

Cons: Documentation is lacking. If I wasn't so inclined with computer hardware, I may have had trouble putting the stand into the monitor. No information on menu setup.

Other Thoughts: I loved this so much as soon as it arrived that I bought another one about an hour later.

I didn't plan on buying a monitor for the speakers, so I can't exactly call it a negative that they suck. I haven't used them and most likely will never use them, so I cannot comment on them.

Pros: None as of yet; I received a monitor that was damaged in shipping due to the lack of proper protection (this monitor, as many I've read reviews for here on Newegg; ships in only its retail box with no extra protection.)

Cons: I ordered this monitor on 2/9/16 and received it two days later (today as of this post) on 2/11/16. I discovered a hole in the front of the box and upon testing the monitor discovered that while the exterior shows no signs of damage whatsoever; the interior panel was smashed from whatever blunt impact knocked the hole in the box.

Other Thoughts: I have already begun the RMA process and the CS Rep I spoke with thru live chat was helpful and did answer all my questions in a timely fashion. When I get my replacement; I will update this post, as I am looking forward to using this monitor. That said, I will leave here the same side note that I posted at the end of the live chat Q&A. I strongly suggest Newegg reviews its shipping standards for monitors (especially monitors over $500, while I did get this on sale for $240, that price is not the norm). Shipping a monitor in its retail box is fine for short distances (say within 100 miles; however damages can still occur) but for shipping farther out, secondary padding around the retail box or a secondary shipping box would really be beneficial. A retail box for a monitor is usually slim and can easily be damaged in transit (as mine and many others have been) and this results in needless RMAs as well as a waste of time and money to both the customer and Newegg. $0.99 shipping is great and all; but I'd much rather pay $5.00 shipping (+$5 more for required signature) and get my product; knowing that it is better protected than have to go thru the RMA process and wait even longer to enjoy my computer (or in this case my monitor).

Pros: There was no configuration hassle at all. I powered down my computer, plugged the supplied DisplayPort cable in to the Radeon HD 7700 card and the monitor and powered up. The monitor came up in the maximum resolution immediately.

Cons: The default setting of 100% brightness is much too bright for my eyes.

Other Thoughts: I recommend the product highly. My old 1920 x 1200 monitor had lost the ability to turn itself back on after Energy Star kicked in but when it was on, the display quality was still good. The hassle of unplugging and replugging HDMI and power cables to try to get the monitor to turn back on was the reason I had to replace it. I expected visual improvement with this monitor but nothing like the degree of improvement that I am seeing. This monitor is truly a bargain for the 2560 x 1440 resolution with outstanding color reproduction.

Pros: - Easy to set up.
- No Dead Pixels.
- Great price

Cons: - The Stand does not go up or down. Not a huge issue though.

Other Thoughts: Perfect for the price.
