5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor, even after a year!

Pros: Great color! Clarity is um, CLEAR!
Whites are still white, and so on.
No dead pixels, yes even a year after I bought it. GEEZ, I am lucky.

Cons: It isn't widescreen :( I didn't buy it for WS though :P

Other Thoughts: There are probably better panels now, but last year this was best deal ever. Still has 2 years left on it's 3 year warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsI wish I would have...

Pros: Installed easily. Software was somewhat simple to use.

Cons: I had to make sure that my video driver, and card would handle the high resolution on this LCD screen. I installed this on a four year old machine. But after a little tweking, everything worked fine.

Other Thoughts: If I had this to do over again, I would purchase the 19". The 17" is a bit small for the money. The resolution is great and the monitor is fine. But with prices dropping like rocks, I would suggest the 19" over this one.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good monitor

Pros: This monitor is great, it's bright, clear and very spacious and for the price it is a steal.

Cons: After about a week I discovered a dead pixel, but it's only one so I'm not too angry about it. Other than that this is a great buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal!

Pros: Great Price, Great Shipping, Great Quality, no dead or stuck pixels, Looks great.

Cons: I think what i'm about to say is pretty standard across all manufactures; I just hate how hard it is to connect the video cable (in this case i'm using the DVI)to the back of the monitor! luckily the finger screws were slotted and I was able to use a screwdriver to connect it. Maybe my fingers are to fat or something...but you'd think i'm not the only one to have this problem.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent performance (so far) and design for price. Easy to unpack and set up. NO dead pixels - yay!

Cons: VERY few, and minor. Base could be heavier or stiffer; height/tilt a little difficult to move. Discoloration at odd/extreme viewing angles, but that's nature of the beast.

Other Thoughts: So far, so good - excellent, in fact! Was leery of 'lesser' brand, but encouraged by some reputable website reviews. Used to Dells at work and was afraid of comparison, but am *VERY happy* with this purchase! Would be foolhardy to use at less than native resolution (not sure some who are critical understand the concept.)

5 out of 5 eggsBenQ is awesome

Pros: One of the best monitors I have purchased. The stand is very adjustable and even has a lazy-susan turntable base. The picture is beautiful and I love the silver and black cabinet colors. The buttons are very well-placed. It comes in the box attached to the base, just pull it up into position, attach the cables,(DVI or D-sub) and you're ready to go. Re-packing is just as easy.

Cons: The only con about this monitor is that I have to give it to the person I built the computer for. Now I have to get one for myself.

Other Thoughts: I'm not a gamer, so I don't know about any ghosting, but I was very pleased overall with this monitor.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sharp picture, vivid color, wide range of display adjustments available. No problem figuring out how to use them either. Height, swivel and tilt adjustments a major plus, not to mention it comes with DVI and D-Sub cables. No dead pixels showed up when I ran a pixel tester on it. What more could you ask for?

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If this monitor cost $xx more, it would still be a great buy!
