5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Price

Pros: Cost / Size / Resolution

HDMI / DVI / VGA (comes with DVI and VGA coords)

This monitor is perfect for its cost! Highly recommended!

Cons: No HDMI cable included, BUT thats probably to keep its great cost value...

Other Thoughts: Good refresh rate for the resolution capability... makes video games look amazing. (purchased May 8th 2009, monitor made sept. 2008)

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Outstanding monitor, great size, no bad pixels.

Cons: Had one frozen pixel when it arrived but it cleared up after an hour. No problems at all.

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if NewEgg would let the shipper leave it at the door instead of requiring a signature.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Big, going from a 19" to a 24" was rediculous.

Looks great, plently of space to do whatever you want on there. Unfortunately all the videos I have on my HDD look bad now at such high resolutions.

Cons: Bad verticle viewing angles, to be expected on a TN panel.

Wobbly base from left to right.

Other Thoughts: All around great monintor.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Display

Pros: Love it. Had it for over a year and have not had any problems. I mostly use it for gaming and have not had any issues.

Cons: None really. Works great for what I use it for. Would have liked it to ship with an HDMI Cable but not a big deal really.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend this to anyone who games regularly.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor but...my experience

Pros: 1:1 Mapping, great colors for TN, no dead pixels, no input lag (which is very important to me) or ghosting. No backlight bleed to note. Great for games!

After insane debate over e2400hd or g2400wd I decided on this one why? 1:1 allows me to play 360 on 16:9. Plus when new games come out such as starcraft 2 or diablo 3 i'll have more on screen than 16:9 (even if 16:10 has larger viewing area). Basically 16:10 can do 16:9 but not vice versa.

Received very quickly from Newegg (Great service) BUT see other thoughts.

Cons: Okay here we go: mine was defective. The screen displayed text all fuzzy. HDMI to xbox 360 can be 1:1 but there is flickering on the top and bottom black bar (bottom flickering was worse) - fixed once i switched to 1080i or 720p (i would recommend trying VGA rather than HDMI). Vertical viewing angles ~ not so great.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to love this monitor and keep it BUT the aforementioned fuzzy text was absolutely unbareable. Luckily newegg let me RMA this time, which they usually don't for this monitor - so great service there.

BUT I would recommend for monitors be sure about them before you purchase from newegg because of their no exchange policy.

Great monitor - bad panel lottery (first one had this problem my second one had a stuck pixel so hopefully third times the charm)

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Buy

Pros: Big, beautiful, fast response, and affordable. No stuck pixels, viewing angles are fine for a TN panel, and the color is good.

Cons: - There are two minor dim spots in the backlight, but it's only noticeable when the entire screen is white.

- Nearly impossible to distinguish between control buttons without a flashlight.

- The adjustment hinge is tightly sprung so the monitor has a tendency to wobble if jostled, but if your desk has more than two legs you should be fine.

Other Thoughts: Occasionally the display will flash off and rediscover the DVI input during use. I'm pretty sure this is an issue with my video card, however.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Monitor

Pros: No dead pixels excellent looking finish. The controls to adjust weren't bad at all. Great picture.

Cons: The base is scary at first. It feels like you're going to break it when you start to adjust it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Monitor

Pros: Very nice monitor with deep black tones and excellent refresh rate. I would recommend this Monitor to anyone looking for a high quility monitor at an affordable price.

Cons: I think they could have done a bit better job wilt the base. Everytime I adjust the monitor I feel like I am going to break it.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I wished

Pros: Not glossy as the HPs, which is huge as I have my back to several windows.
No dead pixels.
No dynamic enhancements, no video processing, which is fantastic. This is raw quality squared.
My Battlefield2 stats already started to raise since I moved from my old Dell 20" due to the low input lag.
(Thanks NewEgg) monitor got at home before the invoice came into my email!!!! I have goose bumps.

Cons: Kind of cheapo base and awkward position of controls
But these are not liabilities at all - just cosmetic issues.
CD came with a hole in it, maybe due to transportation (blame UPS?).

Other Thoughts: Solid product. Zero input lag. Ultimate gaming monitor below $400.
This is a TN panel. Not sure where to put it, if it's a pro or con. Would be a con since other types (M-PVA, IPS) are supposed to be better color quality. However these technologies usually introduce input lag which is a bummer for gaming. So for me it's a pro.

4 out of 5 eggsHappy with purchase

Pros: Due to the size of this display I was worried it would arrive with all sorts of dead pixels but I only have one and I barely every notice it. Very pleased with the purchase and the picture quality is great.

Cons: The control buttons are arranged in a bad way but it's only a minor annoyance.
