Who says monitors have to look dull to be effective? BenQ never said it, and their whole design philosophy is opposed to the idea. Why else make monitors that look like they're moving while standing still, and still have the grace of a gazelle?
Not that this monitor tries to get by solely on its looks. It's RoHS compliant, Energy Star certified, and has a resolution of 1920 x 1200. 16.7 million colors at a bright 250 cd/m2, with a dynamic contrast of 4000:1 (static contrast of 1000:1), and pixels that respond in 2 ms for smear-free action. HDMI, DVI, and D-sub connectors give you analog and digital RGB for your computer or your HD TV viewing (no tuner included). Only 24mm at the monitor's thickest, and even the stand is designed for a small footprint on your desk.

Great Gaming Monitor
- Pros: Excellent for gaming. It has HDMI and DVI (and D-sub), all of which are easily switchable. Low backlight bleeding and very low input lag. Supports 1:1 pixel mapping.
Menus are easy to navigate and includes lots of features. Multiple display modes and dynamic contrast along with a response time overdrive (AMA).
Exterior, while not typical, is pretty attractive. Build quality seems solid.
- Cons: Lacks a VESA mount and the stand is built on so you're pretty much stuck with it. I would have liked it to come with height adjustment. Also a little concerned with the monitor tilting over time due to the off center design.
Touch buttons don't always register and can get annoying at times.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, a great monitor for gaming and general computer use. I have mine hooked up to my computer via DVI and D-sub, and my Xbox on HDMI. Xbox looks great on this, much better than the TV.
This is the same LCD as the G2400WD, so consider that if you want to save a few bucks.
Price
- Pros: Great monitor.
- Cons: The price offered on newegg.
You can get this monitor for $399.99 directly from benq's website. They've got a promote for the month of august. They're taking $40 off the price.

Love it
- Pros: I love this Monitor so much. The quality is perfect no dead pixels it runs games from my xbox 360 very nicely. Cant really complain about it. Very well built it doesnt take up to much room on my desk.
- Cons: No height adjustment but its at a goodheight for me anyways so no biggy.
- Other Thoughts: More HDMI ports
AWESOME MONITOR
- Pros: Excellent monitor with high resolution. I love this monitor, the picture is crisp and bright and it has inputs for HDMI, VGA and DVI so you can hook an Xbox 360 or PS3 to it for when you have a friend over. The reviews everywhere on this monitor where pretty high and I must say that they where right.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: This is an excellent monitor with a great picture. I did a lot of research on it and I must say that I personally am very happy with it. 24" is the best.
Amazing Monitors
- Pros: Over all, these monitors are amazing. The picture is perfect, the brightness is just right, and the fact that they run HDMI, DVI, and d-Sub(VGA) is quite nice too. You can change between inputs by just hitting a button (a feature most Acer monitors do not have), which is very nice for switching between xbox 360, and your pc. No dead/faded pixels at all. (I have 2 of these bad boys)
- Cons: The brightness was set to 90% when i got them, and in some cases, i wish i could go above 100%. Usually ben q sets their standard brightness at 50%. But i guess these monitors aren't all that bright at standard. Also, when the monitor goes in standby, sometimes you have to turn off/back on to switch inputs (bringing out out of standby.)
- Other Thoughts: Most people complain about the touch buttons being not all that good. This comes from the fact that people might accidentally bump them. They are all not that hard to activate, and control. You'll get used to them over time.
Also, the Stand, although it looks kinda weird, it works. Ive had not trouble so far. I don't see any trouble in the future though, as long as they stay where they are right now, and you don't attempt to break them, they are very sturdy, and hold the monitors level perfectly.
