5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Great picture quality. Fast enough response time to be able to play games. Great viewing angles.

Cons: No hdmi, But I knew that going into it.

Other Thoughts: I would buy another one if I found myself in need of another monitor for 100 bucks you really can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggsNice monitor

Pros: Black friday sale deal, great colors, newer type of panel, lightweight

Cons: Bezel could be thinner as I have this in an eyefinity setup and the bezel seems pretty thick.

Other Thoughts: Got one a newegg and 2 more at other etailer to try out eyefinity. They all work great, no dead pixels, they all work.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazing considering I paid $100 for this. I don't really know why I would need anything more unless I was a rich person dropping super $ on an IPS.

Cons: Doesn't come with DVI as mentioned previously. Kind of not an issue as most graphics cards come with them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for work

Pros: Great picture quality. Very sharp text, especially if you use a dark themes in editors. Stand is solid and has tilt unlike many monitors. I think these may be the ideal monitor for programmers, writers, or anyone else that spends a lot of time editing text in the sub $300 range.

Cons: Controls are on the side, which make use of multiple monitors more difficult than need be. Personally I can't stand having a bunch of needless leds on devices, so I always cover up with electrical tape. It doesn't work on these due to the power button and led being one piece and part of a curvy bezel. Color consistency was a bit different between the three, but nothing that couldn't be adjusted out eventually. Bezels are unusually wide.

This is not a gamers monitor due to the nature of VA.

Other Thoughts: I bought these to use for a triple head eyefinity setup, and they are almost perfect for it. I replaced a 24" NEC2490wuxi and Viewsonic 24 with three of these and I definitely consider it an overall upgrade. I much prefer the readability if the VA panel on the BenQ to the IPS on the NEC, mainly because the NEC had this annoying anit-glare coating that most ips panels have that can cause text to appear 'sparkly' if you are very close to the monitor. All three BenQs combined use less power than the NEC, so that's a win too.

BenQ, if you read this... put the controls on the front or under the bezel, reduce the bezel width, and give the option to disable the power led and you'd pretty much have perfection for multiple monitor use.

If they ever hit $99 I'm going to buy another three, but they are a bargain even at normal price.

4 out of 5 eggsOverall Great

Pros: Bought this monitor on Black Friday for $99, and purchased this over the similar Asus monitor. It's full 1080p and a good-sized screen for everyday working, and for me, gaming. I personally bought this as a desktop monitor for my Macbook Pro, and bought this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812816178 cable to connect the two. Has been working great, and enables my laptop to still work as a second monitor! For the price, it's great.

Cons: The monitor comes with different picture modes preinstalled into the monitor settings. I was hoping to use the gaming setting, but I noticed that that setting, as well as the movie and picture viewing setting, had washed out colors, or strange sharpness to pictures. Yet the standard mode didn't wash out the colors at all. This is the only reason why I'm giving it four stars, because otherwise it is a great monitor.

Other Thoughts: When it's on sale, it's worth it. Otherwise, try looking for other alternatives in the same price range. I recommend BenQ products!

5 out of 5 eggsWorth my every penny

Pros: For $99.99, this monitor beats every other in this price range. The contrast ratio is, as other reviewers have said, eye scorching when put the max, the brightness is decent, and there were no dead pixels!

Cons: Does not come with a DVI cable.
No HDMI Port.

Other Thoughts: VA Panel is one step up from the TA Panel that virtually every monitor in this price range is using.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, design is ok

Cons: Issues with a LCD panel, at certain angles you can see horizontal lines on the screen. Not a big issue, but could be annoying to some people. This is due to the cheap LCD panel construction, probably from a low cost Chinese supplier.

Other Thoughts: Spend a bit more money to get better quality

5 out of 5 eggsWill not dispoint

Pros: What can I say they work No dead pixels I got 3 of these in Eyefinity dont get me wrong there are better monitor out there but this one is the best of the best at the $99 is what I got it for. Ever at $150 its still a great buy.very sharp picture No lag in game like BF3. Good job Benq. I will be looking for more great thing from this company.

Cons: well I have to say the bezal for me is to big but I didn't drop an egg for that it hard to find a thin bezal on monitor for some reason they want to make them bigger.and the stand is just ok but i dont care about that I got my own stand. I guess no DVI cable but no big deal for me I don't like using the cheap cable they would give you anyway.
