5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Purchase

Pros: Everything. BenQ hit a home run with this unit. It still impresses me 6 months after I bought it. The 3D is mind blowing. I never expected the 3D quality that I got. Awesome!!

Cons: Nothing yet

Other Thoughts: If your gonna do it, go the distance and get some blackout cloth to really make it pop. I used Carl's ProWhite, Projector Screen Material($85 shpd), built a 5'x9' cedar frame to mount it on($40) & finished with Carl's Blk Felt Tape ($30)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat projector

Pros: The screen looks phenomenal. The input lag via the HDMI inputs is a frame at worst. The composite and HDMI inputs work great as does the keystone since as long as it is perpendicular to the screen, the image will be adjustable to be great.

Cons: The sound quality, while functional, is not superb. It does the job, but not as well as a relatively cheap (>$100) home theater system. Also, after several hours, the space within a foot or two of the projector gets reasonably warm, so don't leave anything directly next to the projector.

Other Thoughts: A great projector, especially if you only have about a yard or a yard and a half of space in front of the screen to place the projector. I, also, really like the travel bag the comes with the projector.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat projector. Great price.

Pros: You can mount this product anywhere. It's super easy to set up. I had this out of the box and watching a movie within 30 minutes. Picture quality and size are wonderful. I run this in a room with plenty of ambient lighting and it doesn't effect the picture. The short throw is amazing.

Cons: Not a lot of options. It's great for projecting the video and that's about it. I run everything to projector via HDMI (newegg has best price on that too). But it does exactly what I need it to do. Would have been nice to have a mounting bracket included.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste the money on super hi-end projectors. The W1080ST is a great product for much less. Watching sports and movies is an experience now. And gaming with characters that are life size is awesome. Good product.

5 out of 5 eggsBlown Away by this Projector

Short Throw
Wide range of zoom
Easy to use

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is a great projector. I even hate to say "for the price" because it is just a GREAT projector. But, "for the price" it is hard to believe. We have had zero issues. I love the short throw. And, unlike another short throw I used, there was a good range to the zoom on this one so you don't have to have it right up on the screen. The picture is BRIGHT and it handles a wide range of resolutions. Yes true HD looks great, but some of our older laptops don't have good resolution and it still looks good showing those, just less screen real estate. You really can't go wrong with this projector, in my opinion. I can't say we have done a lot of video, but what I have seen looks smooth and sharp.
