5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Picture quality on this gaming monitor is just amazing. No issues with dead/stuck pixels. No motion blur. The stand that comes with this monitor is perfect as well.

Cons: The default colors need to be tweaked. Also on that note the menu options do leave me searching around to find what I'd like to tweak with this monitor. Honestly though, it is nice that you can change so many settings on this monitor, so it's expected to have some difficulties at first when navigating the menu.

Its not a 4K 144Hz monitor.

Other Thoughts: I could not be happier with this monitor. Fits my needs just fine. I do just about everything on my computer. From watching Movies, Gaming, Work, and general web surfing this thing just makes everything I look at great. My eyes are not tired from looking at this monitor for hours, specially when compared to my old monitor. I may even buy 1 or 2 more. Depends on my needs honestly, but for now I am happy with this.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best kept secrets in monitors

Pros: Amazing monitor, excellent colors for a tn panel. 60/100/120/144hz options, great user interface and control over settings, multiple input options and a useful alternative input solution.

Cons: none.

5 out of 5 eggsFirmware Update V2

Pros: This monitor can update to newer versions of software. WoW that is amazing. All you need to do is download the XL2720Z firmware and install it and you will have V2. Updates are a improvements to the monitor and this will make your gaming experience better. Ill put a link in here for the firmware V2.

Cons: none that I see...

Other Thoughts: This monitor is by far the best gaming monitor out there. Asus has a basic 144hz monitor for half the price for people that don't like updates lol Good luck and have fun with the leading edge technology.

Pros: Good Monitor

Cons: Comes with Firmware V1. Don't order from Newegg until they release the V2 Models.

1 out of 5 eggsWow...

Pros: nothing

Cons: Firmware version 1?? REALLY?

Other Thoughts: So I haven't received this monitor yet, I purchased it two days ago, but I'm reading a lot of Q&A on the website saying people ordered this less than a month ago and they received v1 firmware. The v2 firmware for this product has been released for quite some time now (almost 2 months) and I honestly figured Newegg wouldn't still be carrying the inferior version of the monitor. As of now, I am not happy with the expectation of receiving v1 firmware, that I now have to send out and have upgraded to v2. If I receive the monitor with v2 I will come back, and completely rewrite a new review and apologize for this review, but realistically with all the people I see receiving v1, I'm not expecting it. Very very disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsMassively underrated, better than expected.

Pros: - Stable, high refresh rate
- Great OSD
- Great display presets
- For a TN panel, amazing colors.

Cons: - When I first boot my PC, the monitor does something weird with not picking up a connection until Windows boots. Doesn't show boot logo or enter bios options.

Other Thoughts: I had actually been worried about the colors since everyone had been telling me to go buy a high end IPS panel and over clock the refresh rate since the coloring was "Awful" on all TN panels. Surprisingly, this isn't the case with this BenQ monitor, once I got it set up and booted into windows I found a list of different presets for different uses, personally for me at least I found the Movie preset to be the most effective in color accuracy.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Monitor!

Pros: I was so anxious saving up for this product and buying it. I thought finally I wouldn't have to deal with input lag and response time. And it sure held up to that. There's virtually no lag on this monitor and my accuracy has risen from a steady 20.08% to 22.50% and rising. (This is from cod ghosts on xbox I hardly use this monitor for pc but do have it hooked up). The picture is decent as I will talk about it in cons and the design is amazing. The black and red fit perfectly with my rog themed pc. The full motion swivel, tilt, rotate really come in handy and the dust cover is kind of a cool add on. I'll use it if I know I am going to be gone for a few days. Haven't used the gaming profile switch yet so I can't comment on that but it does look cool :) haha

Cons: Cons- There's obviously many people that can complain about this being a TN panel and not having the best picture. But honestly they can only take a TN panel so far and you should know what you're getting into before buying it. Yes, the colors are a little washed out (Really bad with the out of box preset.) but with a little tinkering it makes it alot better. I figure this is a small price to pay for response time. Another con is that it seems to be a long process to switch inputs unless I just havent found a way yet. but having to scroll to menu-settings-inputs-then choosing gets annoying.

Other Thoughts: Also this seems like a way to get a revised model out before g-sync released. The g-sync model was announced before the release of this so those not needing a monitor immediately should wait. Also the asus swift monitor coming out could really put this benq to shame and come out on top putting asus far in the lead with the gaming monitor market.
