5 out of 5 eggsMulti-Monitor Setup

Pros: Very light weight monitor. I bought three of these beast and no dead pixel. Clear and sharp view. The monitor stand is easy to mount. The buttons are on the back which I like.

Cons: Light indicator at the bottom of the power button is just out of place. It's kind of in the way if you don't swap your monitor using portrait mode.

Other Thoughts: If you planned to debezel these, be aware. The vesa mount is just drilled in the case, not the actual lcd case. So there is no way to use these as debezeled unless you drill holes in the actually lcd case.

5 out of 5 eggsGood monitor

Pros: 8-bit color, good menu system with big buttons on the back of the monitor, DVI and HDMI

Cons: Pixel pitch is .31 instead of .27 or lower. Using the HDMI requires setting it up in the menu because it does not autodetect.
I'm dead; my head exploded out of sheer amazement.

Other Thoughts: I ordered 2 of these after using an Acer S231HL for years. It was a good monitor but I hated the OSD buttons. I could not easily navigate the menus. I did research on VA, TN, IPS, and PLS panels. VA is the middle ground. Better color reproduction than TN and faster response times than IPS. PLS is just Samsungs' version of IPS. I also read a lot of reviews of this one. I had 2 Samsungs before that blew out the DVI port and had to use VGA. They were under warranty with a few months left, but I didn't bother. I also wanted one with a easy to use menu system. ASUS seems to be popular but also a lot of bad reviews.

I also wanted a monitor with DVI since using HDMI on my outdated Radeon 5770 crops the screen for some reason and the solution appears to be using Catalyst Control Center to resize the screen, which I don't feel like doing. It also did it with this monitor, so I am using DVI. The other monitors I looked at in this range only had HDMI and D-sub. You never want to use VGA on a digital monitor. I have used MAG monitors since '92, with Trinitron. My first one had an LED number on the bezel to display what resolution it was in.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat color, brightness, connectivity

Pros: Spectacular viewing angles
Bright, saturated colors with deep, solid blacks
No IPS glow or TN color shift
HDMI, dual-link DVI, VGA inputs
Makes Risen 2 and Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 look amazing

Cons: 1080p resolution
Glossy bezel and stand (monitor panel itself is not glossy)

Other Thoughts: If you've never seen a VA LCD monitor before, you're missing something amazing.

5 out of 5 eggsUnusually good offer in my opinion. My very first newegg review as 10 year customer..

Pros: Very clear when reading texts using the various modes. I'm a "retired" gamer but had to test it in a game. Very crisp and vivid colors with seemingly unlimited available adjustments to your liking. I'm not a pro knowledge wise, but have used many monitors and regardless of price, this one is very high quality.

Cons: No real cons, even came with hdmi cable...
Had to "help" with the driver installation a little bit but that could have been my win 7 laptop's issue...

Other Thoughts: If you need a monitor, get this. I highly recommend it.

Newegg, you're the best!

5 out of 5 eggsVery satisfied

Pros: Works great as a gamer.
Brilliant colors
Sturdy stand
Attractive looking
BIG

Cons: Power button was tricky. At first I though it was defective and I planned to return it. I wiggled the power button a little and it seemed to "catch."

Other Thoughts: This is a good choice for a 27 inch monitor.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor for the Price, Good Size

Pros: Very affordable monitor at a good price. A great size for my main monitor, which is use primarily for gaming, streaming, and surfing the web. A nice slim profile and sleek look.

Cons: Colours are definitely not perfect. I highly recommend using a colour calibration device (I used a Spyder 5) if you are concerned with colour consistency between monitor. I was much happier with the colours after calibrating, but they still aren't perfect. I would buy something higher-end if you are obsessive about your monitor's colour display.

Built in speakers are definitely not worth using. I didn't really care as I have external speakers already, but it almost seems like a waste of materials. Definitely don't rely on the built-in speakers as your source for audio.

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely nice.

Pros: No dead pixels (seems to be a theme for this one), the brights are bright, the blacks are black. Makes fallout 4 and Final Fantasy XIV look bigger! Replaces a 24 inch I got 3 years ago. No regrets from buying it.
I use a headset for all of my computing needs, so, I have not used the speakers, nor would I anyhow, as I have many other speakers I can use. Just bought it as a monitor.

Cons: No cons I can see yet.

Other Thoughts: For the people experiencing blur, this could be a card limitation. I have used it with Civ V, Fallout 4, Final Fantasy XIV, and a slew of other games, so far, no blur.
