5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding display

Pros: Overall very satisfied with this display, Newegg suggests a "Newer Version" of the product, I would not go with the newer version. This display has a smaller bezel and works very well with multi monitor support. Many video settings, works well with no issues. Very satisfied with this purchase overall. Stand and Mount are easy to just pop in and assemble. Power saving options, Great color.

Cons: None. Works great

Other Thoughts: I purchase this while on sale as I needed a new display for gaming, Worth every penny spent the colors are amazing.

5 out of 5 eggscrisp clear picture

Pros: My old BenQ is starting to dim some and lose it crispness after 5 years of use. It's been such a great display so I bought one of these 27" ones. It has so far lived up to my expectations. I'd rather watch movies on this than my new 55" TV.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Wish I would have pulled the lever on this when it was cheaper.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect 1080p monitor

Pros: Affordable, lots of real estate. Low Blue Light mode is easy on my eyes.

Cons: Wasn't this inexpensive when I purchased it.

Other Thoughts: I've been running this as my primary display (dual monitor setup) since July 2015. I was pleasantly surprised with its performance.

Recently acquired an Nvidia GTX980 - and I set card to run at 60 FPS to match the 60Hz of this monitor with DSR enabled. The few games I do play (Crysis, Far Cry) both are luxurious on this monitor. Why anyone would think they'd need 144Hz is beyond me. 1080p is affordable at this time, the higher resolutions, not so much. Movies look equally as nice as just plain text. I hope this unit can last 4 or 5 years.

Began using it with the DVI connector, then swapped over to HDMI when the new video card arrived. Both modes work just fine.

Grab this monitor, or any of the BenQ units. Good stuff.

5 out of 5 eggsBenQ GW2760HS

Pros: One of the best monitors I've ever owned. I bought 2 of these for extended viewing and the image is crisp and the colors are amazing. I was originally recommended this brand and I normally don't listen to others opinions but I'm glad I did. My wife bought the newer version that new egg lists now and is it not as good as this one in image comparison and panel design.

Cons: Not to bad of a con but the only thing is I wish the stand had a height adjustment but absolutely no reason to dock an egg for that. Also it only comes with a VGA cable but doesn't matter I now have 2 extra VGA cables. I use the HDMI on mine.

Other Thoughts: The panels would have been awesome if it was a mat black instead of the gloss black finish but not in anyway a big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsI LOVE this thing!!

Pros: Super deep blacks, no backlight bleeding, amazing colors (thanks to the 8 bit color processor), awesome contrast, very low input lag, very small amount of ghosting when AMA is set to premium and I haven't noticed any pixel overshoot. All the picture controls you need. Buttons can be reassigned to shortcuts so lowering backlight brightness is easy as pie without navigating through all the menus. Nice big size. Desktops, text and gaming all look phenominal.

Cons: Only con for me is navigating around the OSD is slow bit it isn't a deal breaker at all. Once you calibrate to your liking you never have to go back in there again.

Another con is the gloss. I've never been a fan of it but I think this is up to preference so I'm not knocking an egg off of it.

I don't use the speakers so I can't comment on that.

Other Thoughts: One thing everyone should know is the brightness setting doesn't actually change black levels, it changes the backlight intensity. The way to get to black level adjustment is actually in the color temperature setting. Set it to user and knock all three levels to about 60-65. I found that was the best setting for the deepest blacks without black crush or going overboard and making blacks look greyish.

I LOVE this thing.I bought it with picture quality as a priority. I wanted a monitor with no backbleeding first and foremost, deep accurate blacks and great color accuracy.

5 out of 5 eggsLoving it so far

Pros: Just first impressions, no glossy screen even though i actually kind of like the glossy screens. great colors, not as nice as a ips monitor but better then a tn any day. Nice stand, love the fact it has DVI which is starting to become a little rare now and days. Very thin bezzel Really a plus. Fast response, Very bright when needed, LED backlighting. playing games to surfing the web every think look really good no issues at all.

Cons: None really YET. Im sure ill find something but so far everything about the monitor is great so far and im really enjoying it.

Other Thoughts: To you newegg, Ive ran into a couple items that state that there is a newer version of a item, in this case when i clicked the link it may be newer but it is nothing close to being better at all. The so called newer version has a much thicker bezzel then this one and its not even in the same class as this one so how is it a newer version of this specific monitor

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Perfect colors right out of the box, no dead pixels(always a plus), detected and auto-adjusted settings as soon as I powered them on and plugged them in.

Cons: Menu scroll speed. (Yes, I know) It was all I could think of.

Other Thoughts: Haven't tested the speakers yet, but its a monitor, not a speaker, I'm really not expecting much, will update soon.

5 out of 5 eggsupdate on below review

Pros: I wouldn't be surprised if this is the best 1080o 27" VA panel made

Cons: zip. Maybe the stand? Dunno, using a monitor arm.

Other Thoughts: I originally had it hooked up with a DVI to HDMI dongle cable, once I switched to DVI - DVI all the color issues disappeared, something to do with how HDMI timing or some such. Anyway, as weird as it sounds, switching to a different connection method made a huge difference. This monitor ROCKS zero buyer remorse better than my 1920x1200 unit by a mile.

4 out of 5 eggsNice size

Pros: Nice size and if you're coming from an older 24" LCD you'll find the footprint on this monitor is not much wider or longer. Thin bezel FTW.

Cons: It would not automatically detect HDMI... I was stumped for awhile until I went into the controls and manually selected HDMI as the input.

Other Thoughts: Text is okay, but not great. I had to go into scaling on CCC to get the monitor to fill the whole screen (coming from a 1920X1200 monitor). Also, and maybe the most disturbing... colors. I can't tell yet if it's me or the monitor. When I run color tests and blue/red/green tests it's good, but dunno.... something just seems off. Very possible it's me, so not listing as a con.I will update if I find out more.
