5 out of 5 eggsworth the $200 i spent

Pros: rich vibrant colors, easy to navigate menus. there was some "ghosting" at first while scrolling through web pages or any black text on white background.. turned off ama and it dissapeared. this setting doesnt seem to have any impact on my games' graphics so i just leave it off.

Cons: AMA, took awhile to dial in the color and sharpness. found some useful website on a search engine by searching for lcd test images.. very helpful

Other Thoughts: solid monitor with a good trade off on seek time vs colors. games and movies look awesome

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Monitor!

Pros: This monitor looks awesome. The colors are very very good. Unbelievably good for the price of this monitor and the blacks are some of the deepest I've seen on LCD displays. The contrast on this monitor is absolutely astounding and there are TONS of settings in the OSD menu. The screen doesn't have too much glare and the color uniformity is awesome. There is a low blue light mode which makes browsing the web much easier on the eyes. The viewing angles are perfect, no color or brightness loss when viewing from extreme angles. Not much bad about this monitor.

Cons: There is ghosting. Even on the highest AMA setting (which has major disadvantages) the blurring from the ghosting is noticeable in some instances. Mostly in strategy type games like banished or civ V. In 3d games like shadow of mordor or far cry 3 it acts like motion blur. So minus 1 egg for that.

Other Thoughts: Even though I wasn't impressed with the ghosting (the 4ms response time listed here is a bit misleading) I decided to keep the monitor. I got used to the blurring in banished and civ and hardly notice it in 3d games. I found that maxing out the sharpness setting helps reduce the blur.

The colors and the blacks are what made the ghosting seem like a minor issue. Overall I am very happy with this monitor.

The bottom line is that this is a very very beautiful display. If you are worried about blurring then give this one a pass but if you can deal with it, you'll have a great monitor :D

5 out of 5 eggsGreat all around

Pros: Fantastic value. This is the best "bang for your buck" 1080 27" monitor I've come across.
colors were great straight out of the box.
no flicker, no dead pixels, no issues with packaging.

Cons: Non-adjustable stand

Other Thoughts: Currently using it for photo editing, Adobe products. While researching, I was concerned that it had a slightly lower color gamut than similar monitors (94.6% sRGB). however, given that this is half the price of competing monitors, I'm glad I went this route. Calibrated, and minimal adjustment was necessary. Came out of the box near True Color.

no comment on speakers, haven't used them.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding display

Pros: Overall very satisfied with this display, Newegg suggests a "Newer Version" of the product, I would not go with the newer version. This display has a smaller bezel and works very well with multi monitor support. Many video settings, works well with no issues. Very satisfied with this purchase overall. Stand and Mount are easy to just pop in and assemble. Power saving options, Great color.

Cons: None. Works great

Other Thoughts: I purchase this while on sale as I needed a new display for gaming, Worth every penny spent the colors are amazing.

5 out of 5 eggscrisp clear picture

Pros: My old BenQ is starting to dim some and lose it crispness after 5 years of use. It's been such a great display so I bought one of these 27" ones. It has so far lived up to my expectations. I'd rather watch movies on this than my new 55" TV.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Wish I would have pulled the lever on this when it was cheaper.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect 1080p monitor

Pros: Affordable, lots of real estate. Low Blue Light mode is easy on my eyes.

Cons: Wasn't this inexpensive when I purchased it.

Other Thoughts: I've been running this as my primary display (dual monitor setup) since July 2015. I was pleasantly surprised with its performance.

Recently acquired an Nvidia GTX980 - and I set card to run at 60 FPS to match the 60Hz of this monitor with DSR enabled. The few games I do play (Crysis, Far Cry) both are luxurious on this monitor. Why anyone would think they'd need 144Hz is beyond me. 1080p is affordable at this time, the higher resolutions, not so much. Movies look equally as nice as just plain text. I hope this unit can last 4 or 5 years.

Began using it with the DVI connector, then swapped over to HDMI when the new video card arrived. Both modes work just fine.

Grab this monitor, or any of the BenQ units. Good stuff.

5 out of 5 eggsBenQ GW2760HS

Pros: One of the best monitors I've ever owned. I bought 2 of these for extended viewing and the image is crisp and the colors are amazing. I was originally recommended this brand and I normally don't listen to others opinions but I'm glad I did. My wife bought the newer version that new egg lists now and is it not as good as this one in image comparison and panel design.

Cons: Not to bad of a con but the only thing is I wish the stand had a height adjustment but absolutely no reason to dock an egg for that. Also it only comes with a VGA cable but doesn't matter I now have 2 extra VGA cables. I use the HDMI on mine.

Other Thoughts: The panels would have been awesome if it was a mat black instead of the gloss black finish but not in anyway a big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsI LOVE this thing!!

Pros: Super deep blacks, no backlight bleeding, amazing colors (thanks to the 8 bit color processor), awesome contrast, very low input lag, very small amount of ghosting when AMA is set to premium and I haven't noticed any pixel overshoot. All the picture controls you need. Buttons can be reassigned to shortcuts so lowering backlight brightness is easy as pie without navigating through all the menus. Nice big size. Desktops, text and gaming all look phenominal.

Cons: Only con for me is navigating around the OSD is slow bit it isn't a deal breaker at all. Once you calibrate to your liking you never have to go back in there again.

Another con is the gloss. I've never been a fan of it but I think this is up to preference so I'm not knocking an egg off of it.

I don't use the speakers so I can't comment on that.

Other Thoughts: One thing everyone should know is the brightness setting doesn't actually change black levels, it changes the backlight intensity. The way to get to black level adjustment is actually in the color temperature setting. Set it to user and knock all three levels to about 60-65. I found that was the best setting for the deepest blacks without black crush or going overboard and making blacks look greyish.

I LOVE this thing.I bought it with picture quality as a priority. I wanted a monitor with no backbleeding first and foremost, deep accurate blacks and great color accuracy.
