3+ Years
- Pros: Purchased this monitor for my wife over three years ago from another online vendor and have not had one problem. We game on it for long hours. Still has great color w/ no dead pixels.
- Cons: Cost of quality.
- Other Thoughts: Not sure I paid this much, but it is possible, was over 3 years ago. The other Vendor does not still carry this model.
best bloody monitor i've ever had
- Pros: the picture quality on this is absolutely amazing. i do a fair amount of home video editing and the color levels are consistently fantastic. i also dabble in photoshop work and again this monitor has never let me down. the price is high but i have gotten my monies worth. even when gaming i don't have to worry about image lag.
- Cons: i can not afford another
- Other Thoughts: The customer support of Planar has been fantastic. When I thought I had a problem with the unit, it turned out to be my video card, they were very patient explained everything I needed to know. They even told me that if I had to get replacement that if it would have taken longer than one week to get the replacement they would have sent me a brand new $800+ monitor instead of having to wait for a refurbished unit to arrive

Awesome monitor
- Pros: Great LCD. Very good viewing angle from all sides, amazing color, loads of inputs, picture in picture, and the list goes on. Planar has the best customer service and warranty out of any company I've dealt. I wish other companies were as good as they are for producing quality products and backing them up.
- Cons: It's considerably above average in quality, but also price.
- Other Thoughts: I've bought many of these monitors so far and they're amazing. None have been DOA, no dead pixels or any other issues.
Excellent Monitor
- Pros: Great picture quality, easy setup and brightness/contrast/colors etc,can be easily adjusted to suit one's taste. This is a very good monitor for media art and graphics professionals.
The three year warranty is A+. I own two and very happy to have them.
- Cons: On board speakers are so so, windows show it only as plug and play monitor and not by its name, needs a separate power adapter instead of a straight three prong power cable. Other than that I can't think of any thing else.
- Other Thoughts: I am using one for five years and it's still as good as new, if you need a good monitor this is the one.
