Pros: Built-in audio, adjustable stand, very bright when they are new.

Cons: Not worth the extra money. Poor quality speakers (even worse than I expected - not quite the "rich quality sound" or "full, bright sound experience" they are marketed to have.

Other Thoughts: I have three of these, two purchased 1 yr ago and a third purchased less than 1 month ago. All three of them look very different in terms of brightness/contrast/color and they cannot be adjusted to compensate. Considering the image and sound quality that I am experiencing, less expensive monitors should perform equally well.

Pros: Excellent resolution and brightness. The adjustable stand adds to the convenience of use and is something that is generally not available for most monitors. I purchased this monitor because of the brightness and adjustable stand and have been very pleased with this product.

Cons: None

Pros: Solid monitor with adjustable stand and built in audio. Planar monitors are built to pro quality standards. The 4:3 aspect is perect for 2 (or 3) monitor desktops.

Cons: Not the best for motion and video.

Other Thoughts: I've been using Planars for years - from touch screens to wide panels. I have never had one go bad. You'll see them a lot in hospitals and commercial installtions - places where durability is a must.

Pros: This is a great monitor for the price. If you are a gamer you might want to get some uber monitor out there but for everyone else the quality and ease of use are phenomenal.

Cons: Not for hardcore gamers
