5 out of 5 eggsMore than a best bang for your buck!

Pros: 23.6 inches is a big real estate. My previous monitor was an ASUS 22" and this monitor feels big. I have to lower the brightness because its really bright =). Colors display clearer than any other screen I have owned short of my Apple LED. All the games I have run on it, play just real smooth. There is no lag (vsync on and off). For the price I got it for in Newegg it was a steal. Love this screen.

It comes with VGA, DVI (dual-link) and HDMI ports. It also has a sound jack, though I am not using it. The monitor comes with VGA and Dual Link DVI cables, the power cable and a manual.

The quality of this monitor is amazing. This LCD smokes any LED I have owned. I haven't even used it for 3D Gaming yet. Going to try the 3D part of it today. I bought it just because it was 120hz.

For $270 this is an excellent buy.

Cons: The monitor controls are a bit difficult to reach and configure. I wish the labeling of the buttons was clearer. But because you dont play with these controls all the time, its just a matter of adjusting yourself to them. I have read multiple comments in here saying that there is some kind of bleeding along the top and side edges of the monitor, but to be honest on the LCD I received yesterday this issue is non-excistant.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this last week on Wednesday and it arrived on Monday at around 3pm. When the box arrived it looked like an open box. But, when I opened it and took it out it was all brand new.

Newegg didn't include any shipping or purchasing receipts with the box either. Dunno if thats a bad thing, but I buy a lot from Amzn and they always include it.

I spent a long time researching for a screen like this. With all the new LED's out there and their 2ms respond time there can be a lot of confusion towards whats the same and what is not. In my research I found out there is a lot of misinformation. A 2ms refresh rate @ 60hz is not going to be even CLOSE to 120hz refresh rate on an LCD.

Technically speaking 60Hz means that the screen re-writes 60 times in 1 second. A lot of games will cause flickering o the need to use vsynch. This baby re-writes the screen 120 times in 1 second. IF your video card can chew it. I have an ASUS ENGTX580 and it spits nails with this screen.

5 out of 5 eggsCouldn't Be Happier

Pros: It was everything I expected.

No stuck pixels and no noticeable input lag (with v-sync disabled).

I don't know if it's the best picture quality that can be had or not, But it's better than any of my other monitors.

I also like the stand.

It's worth 5 eggs to me all day long. I was nervous because when I bought it there weren't any reviews yet. ;)

Cons: Some backlight bleeding at the top and bottom. But nothing I would consider to be major. No LCD is perfect in my experience. This one just happens to be imperfect in a way that suits me.

I did have to return my first one though. I was getting strange horizontal lines running up my screen. It turned out to be because of older firmware. This was 7 months ago. I'm sure all models now come with the new firmware.

Customer Support was no hassle at all. They exchanged it without any issues. I did the advanced return so I didn't have to go without a monitor. I've been using this new monitor ever since with 0 problems and nearly 24/7 use. (It stays on while I sleep, just goes into standby).

Other Thoughts: I'm looking forward to getting two more of these for surround gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor!

Pros: Full 120hz all the time unlike Asus! Looks great and responds amazing in games at 120hz. You can tell the difference big time between 120 and 60. Colors look good. Brightness is awesome. Sometimes almost to much I had to turn it down. SUPER sturdy! Full tilt, swivel, and height adjust. Not to flashy. No dead pixels. Comes with DVI for 120hz out of the box. Overall I love it!

Cons: Nothing worth mentioning!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing display for the price

Pros: 120Hz!

No dead pixels

Outstanding price

Sturdy base with a good range of adjustment

Matte screen. I hate glossy displays with a passion.

Ships with a dual link DVI cable.

Cons: Colors are very cool, even with color temperature adjusted to 6500K. It responded quite nicely to calibration though.

Would have preferred a matte front bezel vs glossy.

Optimal viewing area is very narrow, even for a TN panel. Precise positioning is key.

23" is a bit small for a 1080 display. 24" would have been a bit nicer. Everything looks wonderfully crisp but text is rather small. But I was not prepared to pay what a 27" 120Hz monitor costs so I'm not really complaining here.

Pixel overdrive mode causes visual anomalies in some titles. I've elected to keep it off. I honestly can't notice the difference. I think this feature is more for people to reduce ghosting in 3D mode anyway, so people using it strictly in 2D mode are probably best advised to keep it off anyway.

Other Thoughts: This is an outstanding value for a 120Hz monitor. Obviously, the cost is kept down by not including glasses with this display but that is not a problem for me at all. I bought this for conventional 2D gaming at 120Hz. I will always have the option to purchase glasses at a later date if I wish to give 3D a try.

For those of us old enough to remember CRT's, I've forgotten how nice a high refresh rate is. We've been saddled with 60Hz LCD's for far too long and a lot of people may not even know what they're missing. Even in normal desktop usage, it's a treat. Everything is so much more response visually.

If you have a nice gaming system capable of running titles well over 60FPS, you owe it to yourself to get a display capable of taking advantage of that. The difference really is remarkable.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better value for your money right now for a 120Hz display. I'm looking forward to purchasing more of these to completely replace my 60Hz displays.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful

Pros: No Dead pixels. Comes with Dual-Link DVI cable. I bought this with nVidia's 3D Vision 2 kit here on Newegg. There was terrible 3D ghosting in my games until I realized I hadn't selected 120hz in game. (Some games overide system settings and thus have to be configured again in game). Once I selected 120hz, no ghosting that I could tell. Beware that due to technology the games are dark. When nVidia LightBoost monitors are on the market for a while I may upgrade to those. 3D movies are PHENOMENAL!!! I use the 3D SBS mkv, avi etc. with the Stereoscopic Player (The actual name of the player, not a description). I mean breathtaking.

Cons: From my subjective, non 'pro' experience, nothing that would dock an egg. When I turn monitor to complete black some light 'bleeding' along the top. I don't notice it during play or work. I don't notice it now since I've gotten used to monitor, but at first colors seemed a bit 'washed' compared to my HP 2159m.

Limited control options to adjust 'washedoutness'. Absolutely no controls in 3D, save for contrast. They're locked out.

Other Thoughts: Standard 2D gaming is excellent. The high FPS games I play I didn't notice any lag as reported. Full disclosure though, I am not a 'leet' player and probably dont' have a trained eye for it. All in all, worth every penny I paid for it. If there were time tested LightBoost(tm) monitors to market I would have invested in one of those. Too many complaints on the ones that were out, so this will more than satisfy for at least a year before I buy one of those.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth every penny!

Pros: Immediately comparing to my other 22" monitor I noticed the much brighter display which I never knew I was missing. The color and sharpness compared to my 1680x1050 monitor is amazing.
Playing BF3 improved visual quality not only from moving to 1080p but there was a very noticeable improvement in my game play, as if I was always missing something that prevented me from getting kills! Still can't explain it other than the 120hz must make that much difference.
Monitor adjustments are very good for height and tilt, the stand is sturdy and holds positions well.
3D vision kit with GTX580 works flawlessly, games are very playable and smooth on this monitor.

Cons: Monitor cord is very fat and shorter than my last one, I had to buy a longer one online!

The monitor only comes in 23" vs 27"!

Other Thoughts: Very happy with my decision to buy this monitor, did a lot of research and there are a lot of those other monitors claiming 3D but are not 120hz, the real benefit is 120hz for video and gameplay which is why I bought this.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice display for the price. Clear, bright, no dead pixels. Inexpensive entry to active 3D. Stand adjusts nicely and has very little 'slop' in it.

Cons: Color appears slightly washed out even after reducing brightness (as usual, the display ships in 'torch' mode).
There are very few custom adjustment options, would really like more fine grained control over calibration.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible monitor for the price!!

Pros: 120hz, fully adjustable, no dead/stuck pixels, excellent build quality. Best monitor I've experienced for gaming in 2d. I'd love to try 3d when I'm able to pick up some glasses. Buy it, and see for yourself!

Cons: Didn't come with 3d glasses? :) If you're nit picky, the OSD options are very limited, reflective front bezel(as stated it other reviews), but it's not a deal breaker. Honestly, it's worth every penny!

Other Thoughts: Packaging was simple, as it should be. I don't understand the input lag complaints. I'm very sensitive to it, and I play a very fast paced FPS game(Quake). Maybe the others haven't set it up properly??? So far everything is very very smooth. GREATLY exceeds my '07 20" D*LL display(obviously). I've seen no sign of tearing when scrolling or playing videos from Netflix, YouTube, VLC, WMP, etc. Got it on sale WITH an added promo code!

Cons: Reflective....Make sure your light source is in front of you if you have one because if it sits in back ull notice in black parts of games ect but honestly i have all the lights on in the living room and i dont really see it unless im trying to look for it

Other Thoughts: great monitor comes with dvi and vga cables (pretty long) very nice clear screen very bright very sturdy
