Pros: lumens are OK in a dark room with a short throw. picture is clear for 720p

Cons: bought this and returned it the same day. stick with a TV unless you have the right viewing environment

Other Thoughts: projectors are great but you need to have it in a controlled environment. tvs are just a much simpler way to go

Pros: This thing packs a punch. Although I haven't owned it too long, all I want to do is try it some place different whenever I get the chance. For something that can fit inside the pocket of my sweatpants, It does a lot.
Right out of the box, all you have to do to get it working is plug it in to charge its battery and turn it on. No setup required!
At 300 lumens, brightness and picture quality are quite stunning, and the Auto Keystone ability makes it very versatile to use on slanted or smooth surfaces, such as the ground for using it at a picnic or just in the backyard. I spent my first 20 minutes with it putting it at random angles on the wall watching it make the picture look straight and clear.
The viewing angle is also quite impressive and works well for a general family rooms set up.
When I'm out with my backpack, it's light enough and small enough to not make you notice the projector in your backpack or briefcase. I plan on taking it camping later this summer.
The fact that it has a battery built in that from my tests, lasts up to the given 2.5 hours, which is long enough to watch your favourite movie.
The portability of it, even around the house is phenomenal. I created a 'charging station' for it in the living room where it can project onto a large empty wall. Even on a giant wall, the quality is stunning. In the bedroom and in the backyard, I made little mounts, or places for the projector to sit. It works well on the back wall of the house and the ceiling of the bedroom, especially since it doesn't always have to be plugged in.
The HDMI slot in is perfect for more than just laptops you can hook up with the included HDMI cable, but a chromecast (which is what I used) or any other HDMI dongle works perfectly with it in the vicinity of private wifi.
The USB slot is awesome as well since I have a 64gb flash drive that I store movies on, meaning no cables what so ever are needed when the PH300 is charged. The fact that MS Office files work on it straight from a flash drive is impressive, I imagine wowing co-workers giving presentations with it.
The remote with included battery is a nice quality of life feature as well for when you're not sitting right next to it.

Cons: Not so much a con, but I really wish it had been 1080p instead of just 720p. The quality is still pretty incredible considering the hardware, but you still have to focus it. This is one of the only real cons about the PH300 is that it does not auto-focus, but the focus wheel is simple enough and not difficult to find the perfect focus.

Other Thoughts: Overall, the LG PH300 Projector is a product that has so many uses in your life you won't realize until you have it in your hands and the only thing you can think is "Where should I use this next?".
