1 out of 5 eggsBad Experience

Pros: The control knob is intuitive and easy to use.
The preset modes are nice for us gamma and brightness ignorant folk.
It worked for about 9 months.
Flimsy stand but I knew that going in.

Cons: I am quite salty and sour about this product only working for 9 months.
Dead pixels appeared in the upper left hand corner of the screen in multiple batches. I am not just talking about one or two pixels either I am talking about 30+ ish. I was careful to set a 5 minute sleep timer in addition to always shutting off my computer and monitor every single time I was done with it. There is very little mileage on this monitor and frankly I expected better from LG. I am an almost Mechanical Engineer and I fully understand there will be duds and that stuff happens but, currently I am not made of money and this hits me right in the feels and pocketbook. I handled the monitor 2 times ever and since those two times it has not moved. The handling of my monitor was always very deliberate and gentle.

I am a gamer and this is friggin' terrible. Often times in shooters a sharp-eyed Rambo can spot a would be Rambo from far away even if that enemy is so small they may only represent 1-5 pixels. Now I cannot do that if an enemy is in the upper left quadrant of my paper weight monitor. Admittedly I am not this good of a shooter gamer however the principle applies.

Other Thoughts: I realize I got a dud and would generally still recommend LG to folks but not this model in particular.
I hope LG has a decent warranty system.

3 out of 5 eggsCan't beat the price

Pros: Clean design, nice color

Cons: Of the three we ordered two seem to have only part of the input circuit board secured. when plugging in the power, the board inside the monitor seems as though it may may break and fall in. Haven't opened the third one yet but I assume the same.

5 out of 5 eggsI love everything about it but shop around before you buy.

Pros: The picture is amazing for a TN and images are sharp and crisp.
The backlight is very bright but is very easy on the eyes.
The price i paid for it was great (129.99)

Cons: It's so light-weight that it seems fragile which isn't a problem I just feel that I have to be extra careful when handling it or transporting it.
Be careful not to jam connectors into the rear because that board on the inside seems flimsy as if its not bolted down securely.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to others. It is a great value and an overall nice product. I've never had an LG whether it be a phone tv or monitor that didn't have an awesome picture.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful picture, innovative controls. Works with Linux.

Pros: The picture is sharp, with beautiful colors.

There's only one control button, which activates an on-screen display of the different control functions. You then use that single button to navigate the on-screen menus. It's nice, because you'll never have to fumble around for the proper button.

Both Windows and Linux auto-detect the display just fine, and automatically select the proper resolution for it.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have it hooked up to four machines through a KVM switch. Three of the machines are running Windows 10, and the fourth is running Lubuntu Linux. All work fine with it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the Money

Pros: Size 24", 2ms GTG, Resolution upto 1080P, DVI, HDMI, VGA, and Headphone outputs. It also has a TN Panel and VESA 100 x 100 Wall Mount. Good value for the price I paid.

Cons: Back Plate where the power connector plugs in, specifically, is flimsy, I deducted 1 Egg because of this. A work around is attach the DVI connector, making sure to screw it in even if you don't use DVI, and hold it firmly while you plug in the Power Connector. Other than that, this is a solid Monitor for the price.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine on sale and so far all is well, no dead pixels or screen issues. It's a 60 Hrz Monitor with 2ms GTG and if you are a gamer that is what you want for gaming. Of course you could spend twice the money for a 1ms so you do get what you pay for. This monitor is quick and web pages pop. If you are a photo editor or deal with Colors in any way, a TN Monitor may not be your best option. The Basal is a bit wide, 17mm or just under 3/4" is a bit wide for a multiple monitor set up but it is workable as most any monitor will have some sort of border.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate on previous review

Pros: Same applies as before in my previous review.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Turns out that on the bottom of the stand there IS a screw where one can tighten the stand down into the monitor. In my previous review I had said that I wished there was a screw and turns out there was. Sorry.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I love this thing I've been playing eso on it for the past 3 hours and its preforming at what I would expect and a little more for a 130$ 24 inch monitor. Not a single dead pixel.

Cons: When I first turned it on there was an awful white wash over the entire screen I played with the settings and found if you turn the backlight down it goes away. Also I highly recommend that you turn the super resolution setting to high to get the best image out of it.

1 out of 5 eggsThe Gettysburg of dead pixels.

Pros: Looked good until I turned it on.

Cons: Dead pixels everywhere. It's honestly unacceptable how bad this is. It makes me wonder if they sent me a refurbished model.

Other Thoughts: Seriously. So disappointed. My father just received a Motherboard DOA as well. For shame, Newegg.

3 out of 5 eggs24" monitor

Pros: Big screen, price, 3 different inputs

Cons: Big screen, reasonable price, VESA mounting ability, 3 different input options

Other Thoughts: Bought 4 of these, 1 was immediate RMA because of splotches and lines in the screen.
Stand to hold the monito is very weak. VESA mounting is almost a necessity
White is really white, I'm at 50% brightness, and the colors distort depending on how you look at the monitor. Hrad to get used to that feature of LED's
Backplate: very flimsy. Using DVI it felt like I was going to punch the cable through the monitor trying to get it to hold. It works, but its uncomfortable while hooking up the cables.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Monitor

Pros: Slim Bezel
2ms response time
Amazing picture, crisp and clear HD (HUGE EMPHASIS ON THIS)
Zero dead pixels on arrival
antiglare and no flickering
Great price- I got mine for $129.99

Cons: Stand didn't feel very secure when I put it together, would have liked to see at least the option of a screw. However, once I actually set up the monitor on my desk, it's very secure and doesn't shake hardly at all when I move my desk. (Which is why I didn't deduct an egg) I have another LG monitor that moves all over the place when my desk moves.

Other Thoughts: Do not second guess the decision to buy this, you will love it. I know I have.
