5 out of 5 eggsGreat touchscreen

Pros: I use this monitor personally mounted and its touchscreen capabilities. Easy to set up as all cables were provided, took no longer than 30 min out of the box, Graphics from medium to far range are fine

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent monitors

Pros: I am just purchasing my 12th and 13th unit of these monitors, first one was over 2 years ago. I have not had even a hint of trouble with them.

Cons: You would be hard pressed to find something to complain about.

Other Thoughts: I purchased some 3M Automotive Protection film to put over the screens because I was noticing some wear-spots. The film doesn't interfere with the operation one bit and completely stopped the wear issue. It costs about $10/monitor (and a little patience, the stuff can be hard to apply) but it is absolutely worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent resistive touchscreen monitor

Pros: Nice heavy base, can be tilted to be completely horizontal. Good resolution. Matte screen has less glare and doesn't show fingerprints. I've used it on Windows XP, Vista, and 7 (see other thoughts below).

Cons: Speakers aren't great. Note that this is a resistive touchscreen, so it does not support multitouch (pinch to zoom gestures, etc).

Other Thoughts: Gvision seems to sell these monitors with a couple of different internal hardware configurations. I got one that was made by eGalax Touch; others have ones made by Elo. I found Windows 7 drivers by searching for "EETI eGalax Touch"

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but confusing at first

Pros: Good touch screen monitor so far. Using it to make interactive kiosk style content.

Cons: Even though it is a "Gvision" monitor, if you are using Windows 7 you have to download the Elo drivers. After you do that, serial input works fine. I haven't tried USB yet.

Other Thoughts: For interactive content, the cursor update is a little rough. For simple clicking programs it is ok. For programs where you drag, this monitor will require a little more tweaking of your input processing!

5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy With These

Pros: They do what they say, all day, in any environment that I have tried.
Using 3 of these in a warehouse/manufacturing area with lots of dust, 100+ temps and humdity etc. Even used them for 3 days in a 40 degree cold storage while doing inventory.
Works great on Windows 7 as well. I had an old AMD system laying around so I installed Win 7 on it for testing and it ended up running the monitor.

Cons: For some strange reason I haven't gotten them to come on using the DVI connector. It was really a non-issue to use the vga connector so I never looked into it. Maybe they just don't have auto detect and I didn't manually try to set the input.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Solid construction, works as multi screen as well.

Cons: Software and Drivers. It took me the better part of 2 hours to figure out how to set this up to work with two screens on one graphic card. The setup is not very intuitive.

Other Thoughts: Solid construction, and i hope it will survive our production environment. So far it works quite well as a dual monitor setup.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Touchscreen

Pros: Great TouchScreen for the price! I had no problems setting it up, just installed the software and connected the cables and it was ready. I didn't even know it came with built in speakers, thats a bonus :) It can tilt all the way flat and can connect to vga or dvi and has a usb or serial connection. (also comes with speaker cable)

Cons: none so far!

Other Thoughts: I was a little worried about buying this touchscreen because i had never heard of GVision before, but the product is great and seems good quality.

4 out of 5 eggsNot as Touchy as I wanted

Pros: Good cheap touchscreen monitor. VERY heavy base, tilts all the way up, and stable with a lot of pressure on the screen. The lower price outwieghs the cons.

Cons: has some odd 'dead' spots. hard to explain, as you can go back over the same spot and it will respond.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Love this monitor, I have bought 5 already. Easy installation - Pretty much plug and play. Comes with all the cables you need. Driver installation a snap. Calibration was unnecessary most of the time but I did it anyway.

Cons: Interneal speakers are tinny, but who cares I don't use monitor speakers anyway.

Other Thoughts: The base tilts 90 degrees making this monitor easily wall mountable. A must have feature for any Point Of Sale environment.
