Pros: good price

Cons: the speaker is totally useless

Pros: I purchased two of these cause I wanted a dual monitor setup and I'm by no means an expert, or even a -phile to know any of the technical aspects of a monitor. Please take this review from a perspective of the average Joe.

-Viewing angles are great. More than visible at an angle I would consider to be useless for everyday work.
-Unique inputs which is great because I don't have a dedicated GPU
-Very slim and lightweight. It made mounting two of them really easy
-Monitors automatically detects which inputs are being used when coming off of monitor standby.

Any other technical thing I can't comment on as I don't know what Im looking for, but if that says anything as an average buyer, then I guess that says something in itself.

Cons: -The speakers are not very good at all. They honestly should just be omitted to save cost.
-The audio jack is an audio Input and NOT an audio pass-thru, which makes no sense to incorporate, but I don't mind getting an AUX cable
-It does not come with a DVI cable (which I knew), but I believe should be included.
-DVI has better color reproduction than HDMI (I don't know if this is the cable, or just the HDMI standard, but I got the same results on both monitors)
-Monitors cycle through detecting inputs after you turn the computer off which is annoying

Other Thoughts: These monitor are perfect for what I need them to be, simple. I use my computer as a music production workstation so I don't need my monitors to be perfect, I just need them to be unnoticeable. If I can get through my workday without noticing anything wrong with my monitors, then they are good monitors.

-Beautiful screen
-Nice design
-Easy to navigate menu
-All cables needs is included
-Only got it for $65.99 (out of the pocket) the rest I paid it using customer care gift card (price match)

-Tried several games Witcher3, Fallout4, Sleeping Dogs etc. etc. LOOKS AWESOME!!!!

-Kudos to Newegg for the very fast shipping

Cons: -Stand is flimsy but I'm not going to knock off an egg because of that, it might be flimsy but the monitor isn't touch screen. It sits at my desk nicely, doesn't move when I type. It only moves when I press the buttons in front of the monitor. That's it.

-Speakers are a joke, but it doesn't bother me since I use headphones for gaming.

Other Thoughts: -I only own this monitor as of this writing for a day, but I will update this review if something came up. but for now it's 5 eggs to Newegg and Acer!!!

Pros: Great Price at the time I purchased it, $105 for IPS, really can't be beat.
Great color reproduction and can overclocked to 75hz. *this seems to be pretty standard for most Acer monitors*
The frame is nice angular and sturdy.

Cons: Terrible ghosting, image degradation is a huge issue with this monitor, while watching movies and netflix, the colors looks great during still shots but when a character even moves, the image just degrades beyond acceptable.

The same can be said about gaming, image degradation whenever there's motion on the screen.

Very disappointing, about the 5 eggs and 4 eggs review that don't mention the issue. Maybe some people just don't notice it.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend for office works if you can buy on the cheap, otherwise I'd advise you avoid this monitor.

Pros: Couldn't even get to the point to where I could appreciate the other qualities of the screen because of the horrible ghosting.

Cons: -HORRIBLE Ghosting/image retention.

When I would move the mouse I would basically see a shadow version of my mouse at all times. I have had an IPS monitor before, the ghosting is not supposed to be THAT noticeable, if at all.

Other Thoughts: Seems like most other people aren't having this issue. I happened to buy two of these and both have this awful ghosting. Maybe they just came out of a bad batch but this really took a dump on my weekend plans :(

Even if this is just a freak problem with Acer's monitors, I'll have a hard time buying another Acer monitor after receiving not one, but two monitors with horrible ghosting.

Pros: Light, easy to set up, comes with HDMI 2 other output cable variants, really clear nice picture. HD looks sharp, easy to configure, buttons on front

Cons: Can tilt but cannot adjust height

Other Thoughts: Good deal for the $109 sale price

Pros: Colors seem better than my old TN panel. IPS was the reason for my purchase of this monitor

Cons: Small amount of backlight bleed. Doesn't bother me too much. (Cost 1 egg though)
Useless speakers. I knew that going in and never intended to use them so also doesn't bother me too much,

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an entry level IPS panel then this is a great buy for you.

Pros: Bright and good viewing angles, nice colors, usable speakers.

Cons: Stand could use some easier adjustment.

Pros: the monitor worked for 5 months

Cons: Monitor stopped working 5 months and I had to ship monitor back for repairs. Acer does not reimburse the shipping costs which most companies will provide a label with shipping billed to them. Very poor warranty policy.

Other Thoughts: no I would not recommend based on the monitor stopped working and poor return policies

Pros: price is good for $99. Picture quality is good when it actually works

Cons: Monitor broke after two months no picture and only backlight is on. Call customer service for the warranty and it is horrible. Acer's warranty is nothing compared to Dell or HP. This is my first and last item from Acer

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone. Go with other brand like Dell or HP with hassle free. They are way better in warranty compare to Acer.
