Pros: Great Price at the time I purchased it, $105 for IPS, really can't be beat.
Great color reproduction and can overclocked to 75hz. *this seems to be pretty standard for most Acer monitors*
The frame is nice angular and sturdy.

Cons: Terrible ghosting, image degradation is a huge issue with this monitor, while watching movies and netflix, the colors looks great during still shots but when a character even moves, the image just degrades beyond acceptable.

The same can be said about gaming, image degradation whenever there's motion on the screen.

Very disappointing, about the 5 eggs and 4 eggs review that don't mention the issue. Maybe some people just don't notice it.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend for office works if you can buy on the cheap, otherwise I'd advise you avoid this monitor.

Pros: Couldn't even get to the point to where I could appreciate the other qualities of the screen because of the horrible ghosting.

Cons: -HORRIBLE Ghosting/image retention.

When I would move the mouse I would basically see a shadow version of my mouse at all times. I have had an IPS monitor before, the ghosting is not supposed to be THAT noticeable, if at all.

Other Thoughts: Seems like most other people aren't having this issue. I happened to buy two of these and both have this awful ghosting. Maybe they just came out of a bad batch but this really took a dump on my weekend plans :(

Even if this is just a freak problem with Acer's monitors, I'll have a hard time buying another Acer monitor after receiving not one, but two monitors with horrible ghosting.

Pros: Light, easy to set up, comes with HDMI 2 other output cable variants, really clear nice picture. HD looks sharp, easy to configure, buttons on front

Cons: Can tilt but cannot adjust height

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for an entry level IPS panel then this is a great buy for you.

Pros: Bright and good viewing angles, nice colors, usable speakers.

Cons: Stand could use some easier adjustment.

Pros: the monitor worked for 5 months

Cons: Monitor stopped working 5 months and I had to ship monitor back for repairs. Acer does not reimburse the shipping costs which most companies will provide a label with shipping billed to them. Very poor warranty policy.

Other Thoughts: no I would not recommend based on the monitor stopped working and poor return policies

Pros: price is good for $99. Picture quality is good when it actually works

Cons: Monitor broke after two months no picture and only backlight is on. Call customer service for the warranty and it is horrible. Acer's warranty is nothing compared to Dell or HP. This is my first and last item from Acer

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone. Go with other brand like Dell or HP with hassle free. They are way better in warranty compare to Acer.

Pros: I like the IPS and picture quality is great but it stopped working after 2 months.

Cons: Stopped working after two months. Blue light was on which indicated that it received the signal. I saw the back light but no picture. I pressed the menu button, no response, screen stays dark.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this monitor with anyone. It is not reliable even with 3 years warranty and ended up with a refurbished monitor.

Pros: Got this monitor on sale for $109.99 and you just can't beat that for a monitor of this size that has VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs. No dead pixels and nice bright picture.

Cons: Speakers, maybe. Can barely hear the sound. Have an external pair of speakers I was using anyway, so this was no biggie to me. It may have been something I was doing wrong, but since I planned to use other speakers, I didn't look into the issue further.

Other Thoughts: I work on computers and was using a monitor that only had VGA. This monitor was inexpensive and allows me to connect to systems that do not have VGA connector, but have DVI or HDMI connector.. Connected all three cables to the monitor and just connect to whichever available video connector is on the PC I am working on.

Pros: I bought this for a Linux digital photography rig. The color reproduction is good and it's just as bright as I need it to be, which is great because calibrating displays under Linux can be a pain. The way the bezel is constructed, it shouldn't be difficult to create a light-blocking hood for it.

Cons: - The supplied stand is more unstable than the inside of an Exogorth. I'm probably going to trade it out for a VESA mount eventually.
- As other reviews have stated, the speakers are completely pointless. Not just "poor sound quality" pointless which I could honestly deal with, but incapable of producing more volume than a pot of boiling water. I hooked up a ChromeCast to it and couldn't hear anything from more than two feet away.
- This monitor will exhibit some flicker on the VGA (D-Sub) channel if you have an underpowered source (like, in my instance, an aging laptop).

Other Thoughts: This is a good choice when it's on sale, but not so much at it's regular price.
