When dealing with computers, the monitor is your window on the system, so Sceptre gives the 2MSX22WG 22" LCD widescreen a voice as loud as thunder and clear as an angel's choir. Hear every inflection in its awe-inspiring 2000:1 contrast ration. Feel its undeniable depth with 16.7 million colors. Even in the back of the room, you'll see perfectly on the 300 cd/m2 bright screen, and those unable to get a center seat will get just as good a performance as its 170°(H) / 160°(V) viewing angle reaches everyone.
Truly, the 2MSX22WG monitor is capable of a master's performance.

WOW!!
- Pros: This is am Awesome monitor, coming from a 18in from 2002, this was a much needed upgrade. I am so pleased with it that I would easily buy another! I have shopped long and hard to come to find out that, at this price, a 2000:1 contrast ratio combined with a 300cd/m2 brightness is AMAZING! I have bought a couple of other Sceptre monitors for work and I am very pleased with them too!
- Cons: There is a couple downfalls though. First, the stand is VERY stationary with very little options for adjustment. But that is an easy fix with a monitor arm. The second complaint is it does not have a HDMI or Component input. (and yes, I know I could have shelled out a little more and gotten the "gamer Sceptre")
- Other Thoughts: Overall, I would have liked a better stand but other than that, this is a great monitor and Kick *** product!
Great Product
- Pros: No noticable Ghosting.
At its native resolution small text (6pt) is readable once cleartype has been enabled.
Rear mounting of buttons makes for a clean front bezel.
- Cons: Display looked rather shoddy on first power-on, had to run the tuning wizard that came with my video card as well as enable Microsoft ClearType by hand.
Rear mounting of buttons makes it awkward to change settings at times, but gets better once the positioning of buttons has been learned.
Warranty void if transported in anything but the original packaging?
Rather difficult to assemble the monitor into the base, I don't look forward to disassembly when I transport it...

Fantastic
- Pros: Bought this mid may of 07 (2 years ago) and it is still going perfectly.
- Cons: None, even the buttons on the side, whihch I originally thought would be a problem to locate in the dark, are not a problem.
I suppose maybe the blue power light is anoying, but I just covered it with a tiny piece of electrical tape.
- Other Thoughts: 2 years, no problems. PLanning on replaceing my two 19" with these.
good monitor
- Pros: no dead pixels for 2 months since ive owned it, fast delivery, clear, sharp picture, fast display.
- Cons: the stand would be better if it could tilt forward further, if you have the center of the monitor above eye level at arms length the top of the monitor looks dim. (just the way LCD's are designed) doesnt come with a DVI cable, or in a newegg box for extra protection, be sure you trust your shipper.
- Other Thoughts: the speakers, while nice to have in addition to a decent sound system, are standard monitor speakers, and the quality is as expected for something not from bose or logitech.
great monitor
- Pros: great display. great colors. The best sceptre monitor I've owned yet.
- Cons: Speakers suck (most built-in speakers do suck). Native resolution is not 1920x1080, therefore when using this monitor at this resolution will be slightly blurry, not a big complaint since I'm not using this for HD video, but might be important to some.
