Other Thoughts: 3rd Sceptre monitor I bought, and the first one is still working perfectly (4+ years old). I have nothing but good things to say about the SCEPTRE name in general. Just good monitors for good prices.

Pros: 27" is a nice upgrade from 23". Good color and brightness.

Cons: Had a dead pixel near the center of screen. Thought I could live with it, but you end up staring at just that pixel. Decided to RMA with replace. Hopefully no dead pixels.

Other Thoughts: Would be 5 stars without the dead pixels. Will update review after new one arrives.

Cons: -No easy way to change the volume on the monitor
-Four Days into Ownership I noticed a pair of dead pixels. It's in the top right where my image is normally a bit dark so I may not have noticed it but now I can't look away from it.

Other Thoughts: I don't know whether this is a quality control issue or just something I'll have to deal with. It's two small pixels in the top right that are stuck red. Overall still happy with the purchase though and it seems to be an isolated issue.

Pros: Had my doubts at first. but it's the cheapest in it's class. $250 shipped from newegg in 2 days. hooked up in minutes and no dead pixels :)

Cons: cheap stand but hey $250 for 2ms 27"... and I don't plan to move it around and it works out for my case

Pros: Great picture, no dead pixels, no damage in shipping. Not wobbly like a previous reviewer. Easy access to OSD menu, and easy to navigate.

Cons: No audio jack out, only in.

Other Thoughts: I use it hooked up to my WD TV Live Plus with HDMI cable and wish there was audio out on the monitor. It would be perfect otherwise.

Pros: No dead pixels, wonderful picture. Very colorful display! Tested it out on many High def movies and games (batman arkham asylum, Fallout 3, Mass effect 2, Split Second and many more) all set on max settings and they look fantastic. It is a bit bright out of the box but didnt take but a moment to ajust it to perfection. I wont review the speakers as I didnt buy it for sound (5.1 already hooked up). But its more then I coule have ever hoped for, and it was dirt cheap!

Cons: Seriously, none at all. No ghosting, no dead pixels, and its huge, cheap and looks wonderfull cosmetically and the picture is great, whats to hate?

Other Thoughts: Dont hesitate to get one because of the name brand or the price, I cant expect getting much better quality especially for the price.

Pros: For the price it's an absolutely fantastic value. Once I plugged it in Windows 7 immediately switched to 1080p and I was good to go.

Pros: Huge! Came with No Dead Pixels. Comes with Plug.

Cons: Menu is very sparse! Take a second to get the settings you want. Didn't say it came with a DVI plug, it does, nice enough one. Stand is wobbly! Going to take some adjustments or shims to get it jsut right. That said, it's stable enough, just not enough for my wheeled desk.

Other Thoughts: Came in two days, not three. Box corners were a tad beat up, but there's sufficient packaging inside to defeat most attempts at breakage.

Glossy black finish, the monitor rises exactly 2 1/2 inches from the desktop...important consideration with monitors this size.

Pros: Easy setup, easily adjustable, no dead pixels.

Cons: none i can think of.

Other Thoughts: Man, I just cant ask for more.

Pros: No dead pixels. Good color. Easy to setup (adjust color, brightness, and contrast) and use. Size/resolution is easier on my eyes than smaller monitors, especially working with spreadsheets. Also good for gaming: Fallout3, HAWX, Ghost Recon, Fary Cry2, and Borderlands
