5 out of 5 eggsNice Monitor

Pros: Nice clear display, with no dead pixels. I put mine between a couple of older 19-inch monitors I had been using for a long time in a 3-monitor setup. The display on this one makes the image on the older 1280 x 1024 displays look muddy and sick.

Cons: None, as it turns out. At first, I thought that the monitor's tilt could not be adjusted, and I had objects under the front of the stand to prop it up. Later, I found that I just didn't try hard enough to adjust the tilt. I had to hold the stand down, and then push the top of the monitor back. As it turns out, it works just fine - I was just chicken to apply enough force. It wasn't really all that much force, as it turned out.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine for use at work, even though I am an employee. It was inexpensive enough that I could justify it to myself. It does really help. An engineering drawing that can't even be read on the older 19-inch monitors without a lot of zooming in can be seen very well on this monitor.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Picture

Pros: -Good Quality picture
-No Dead Pixels
-Base is Sturdy and Tilts well
-Use it for X1 gaming

Cons: -No cons to speak of

Other Thoughts: When started using it I turned the speakers to 0 and a few weeks later I tried to use them again to find out they don't work anymore. It's not much of an issue since I game with a headset anyway but could not retro back to my 360 and play it.

3 out of 5 eggs27" Monitor

Pros: A good size monitor for the price. No dead pixels. Looks great.

Cons: The stand is horrible. It tilts forward way too much. I have to wedge something under the front of the stand to make it tolerable. The description says that the stand is adjustable, but mine does not adjust.

Other Thoughts: If I were to do it again, I'd have spent a little extra and gone with a different brand.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect so far

Pros: Cheap $130
No stuck pixels
It does have adjustable tilt
Has speakers

Cons: Speakers are usable, but not high-quality

Other Thoughts: I was concerned about tilt as some users had suggested that it isn't adjustable, but it is adjustable. The neck is stiff at the bottom of the screen but does move considerably and stays put after adjusting.

4 out of 5 eggsI got one of the good ones!

Pros: Couldn't resist the great price on a 27" monitor, even though it wasn't a brand I'm familiar with. I was worried about all the reviews that mentioned having stuck pixels. My monitor arrived in good shape only a few days after I ordered it. No shipping carton is rather risky, but fortunately they used FedEx and not one of those brown trucks.

One reviewer complained that it doesn't tilt but he was quite mistaken. Tilts just fine.

Cons: The built-in speakers are about two inch diameter and mounted about five inches from each other in the center facing rearward. Plan on using desktop speakers for better sound and channel separation.

I noticed the angle of viewing is much narrower than all my other monitors. Need to be in front of it and not off to one side.

Other Thoughts: I bought the extended warranty for three years and will be quite happy if I don't have to use it.
Had a sticker that said Windows 8 Compatible. Well, I'm NOT.
No bad pixels so far. Fingers crossed.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Monitor

Pros: Clean picture, no-frills HD monitor. Skyrim looks good on it.

Cons: A couple dead pixels, no clusters; no software fix. Not a huge deal on such a big screen, but it knocks an egg.

Other Thoughts: If it's still on sale and prices comparably. I got a wicked deal during Cyber Sales. Otherwise, you get what you pay for.

3 out of 5 eggsThe screen quality/resolution is great. But they're fragile/touchy

Pros: Bought two at same time. If you handle/pinch the sides/casing too hard, you end up with permanent screen problems. They are nice looking, good quality otherwise

Cons: Couldnt take it back because I already threw away the packaging and didnt want to pay for shipping

Other Thoughts: I recommend it, but handle with extreme care.

4 out of 5 eggsSecond time around

Pros: Replacement unit works as advertised
No dead pixels, nice upgrade from a 23 inch monitor
Built in speakers are weak but I don't use them and did not intend to.
Overall I am very satisfied.

Cons: First unit was defective, would not power up.

Other Thoughts: Newegg Customer Service was fantastic.
Original monitor I received was defective.
Second unit was shipped as soon as they received the returned unit.
Can't ask for more.
