5 out of 5 eggsit's amazing, so amazing

Pros: The picture. It looks great. HDMI input is also very clutch. It looks dope, as well. Very stylish. I went from an old boxy monitor to this and I can't even begin to describe the difference.

Cons: I was hoping for 1920x1080, but at this size, I doubt I would even notice the difference. However, I knew this before purchasing.

Other Thoughts: I was slightly worried that it wouldn't be large enough. It's the perfect size. Any bigger might be too big.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy This!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Everything. Just so you know I bought the HD2201 model at Best....Buy because I did not want to wait for the order( im very impatient). The only difference between the HD2200 and HD2201(mine) is the Hd2200 has one high def componet imput and optional 4ms. This monitor is beautiful on ful resolution 1680*1050 which is almost 1080p I play my xbox360 on 1080p and wowwwww! You wont even notice the difference between the two. No dead pixels!! The touch bezel controls are great. Lots of connectivity dvi, hdmi, vga. To get audio from the HDMI just plug in comp. speeakers it is easy. Looks better than my friends Dell 24" on 1080p. Easy setup. Are you still reading this just but it already! No blurring!!!!

Cons: Only the fact that I spent $250(Best..Buy) and it did'n come with a dvi cable. So I had to spend $20 on one at Best..Buy. But it already!!!!!!!!!!!

Other Thoughts: I am using it for my comp. AMD 5600+, 2gb ram, Nvidia 9800gt (pny), 250gbb seagate hard drive, 450w Logisisy psu, Lite-on dvd burner reader, Raidmax ares case, (Gateway HD2201 Montor of corse). Also I am using it for my xbox360. Looks amazing do recommend. I wish I could find out where to buy the optional speaker bar. If you know email me at xrxl8@live.com .

5 out of 5 eggsGorgeous, Absolutely Gorgeous

Pros: It looks amazing. I'll be using it with my Mac Pro, because the absolutely beautiful aluminum + glossy black finish is just stunning. The screen is LCD, but it has a glossy finish, which makes colors more saturated, and makes for an overall wonderful look. The adjustment system is very cool- no buttons, but rather touch-sensitive LED buttons that appear and disappear when you use them, built into the frame of the monitor. The stand is very sturdy, and makes for easy adjustment.

Cons: Very, very slight ghosting, but nothing to be worried about.

Other Thoughts: I played some Counter-Strike on this, and it looks stunning. This is a big step up from my old 15" CRT. I haven't used the HDMI yet, but I'm assuming it works. 4ms response time is great for a big 22" like this. Gateway is a fantastic brand and makes wonderful monitors- so if you're looking for a new, or even a replacement monitor, this is a prime choice.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful

Pros: It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Gorgeous screen - my XBox360 games or PC games have never looked sharper. This monitor has VGA, Component, DVI, and HDMI inputs. They all look amazing.

Did I mention it's big?

Cons: I don't think UltraResponse does anything. Oh well.

Other Thoughts: Get the speakers from DXP. If you don't have a seperate sound setup, these are well worth it. They even come with RCA audio inputs if you don't have an RCA-to-Stereo adapter. This is awesome if you have the XBox360 VGA cable!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Monitor

Pros: Amazing connection options
Vibrant color
decent pricing
1080P support

Cons: gloss screen can cause glare
Buttons are senors

Other Thoughts: I was looking for a GREAT 22" monitor and I found one in a company I usually cannot stand. I do not know who Gateway has making their PCDs but they need to keep up the great work. This monitor is beautiful and feature packed.

The only two complaints I have are the fact the buttons are actualy sensors and thus a touch picky and the gloss coat can create glare in a higher light environment.

Dispite being a TN panel this display is beautiful and I would buy another in a heartbeat.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding

Pros: where to start

It has multi imputs DVI-D, VGA, HDMI, Component. There is a HDMI audio out which works with a standard M/M audio cable or headphones (not supplied ; ;) which only loops thru when you have HDMI selected. Quality seems A+, Stand in nice no wable issues, gorgeous picture, PS3 look better on this then my 1080 crt TV, menu controls are nice.

Cons: hmmm...... 1000 contrast ratio, Bleeds alittle on top and bottom of the screen on black background. I do notice it sometime while playing on my PS3 but thats only because i know its there my friends can't tell and envy the picture.
last would say cables. Would of been great if it came with a DVI and M/M audio cable for PC hook up

Other Thoughts: I was looking to by a samsung since thats what i normally buy(Not saying anything bad about samsung luv ya) and seen this is a local store right next to a 24" 10000 contrast ratio samy and was like wow. I could tell between 1000 and 10000 contrast but was negligible then i seen the price and had to get it right then and i will never think twice about my purchase. For all those people saying well its a gateway think again well worth the investment buy one you will be shocked

4 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor

Pros: Paid $329 at BB. I love it. Compared to the the Dell CTR I had it's a world of differance

Cons: Stuck pixel on first one. BB exchanged with no problems. Do notice bleeding at top and other differances compared to a CTR, this being my first LCD.

Other Thoughts: Very satisfied.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfied

Pros: Great price for all the inputs it comes with. Using VGA right now and it looks very good. Don't mind the touch screen controls, it took like 10 minutes to get use to it. good for console gaming.

Cons: can't swivel (not much of a big deal b/c it's easy to move). The sides around the screen are a little too glossy and reflect the side of the picture back at you a little.

Other Thoughts: No dead pixels. very bright out of the box, had to dim it down a bit. very good monitor for the money.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor, but don't RMA to GATEWAY!

Pros: Very nice screen for $300. I grabbed myself one at my local BB and man, on display it captured my heart. It is bright but turn it down a bit and you have great color.

Cons: First off, the monitor scans the VGA port first than the DVI, most of the time missing my post screen on my old A8N SLI (Yes, I know, I need an upgrade). Second, sometimes the buttons don't respond to you, you have to yank out the power cord to start over.

Other Thoughts: I called the Gateway support line because the monitor was flickering rather viciously and I called to ask them if I can get a replacement. The guy told me to returned it to BB if possible because all Gateway will do is send me a refurbish monitor of the same thing, thus I can get a monitor that is worst! BEWARE! Make sure that you are able to return the product first before buying from Gateway
