5 out of 5 eggsThis Monitor is a TEN Egg !!!

Pros: 7 years without any issues, The touch panel works flawlessly, More connections than a martian space ship. After 7 years I have not seen a monitor under $1000 that looks half as beautiful as this one. I have tried about every brand, Asus, Dell, HP, Vision Tek, and constantly looked at what the electronic stores are selling and none compete with this thing. In looks the apple cinema is beautiful but this thing has so many more connections.

Cons: They don't make it anymore :^(
Don't ever let some know nothing tell you that a dull panel is better than a glossy panel at anything but not letting the guy next to you see your work on an air plane !

Other Thoughts: If You don't have an apple cinema and you put your monitor next to this monitor, You'll beat your monitor with a hammer because it will look like terrible next to this and this thing has more I/O connectors than any monitor on the planet. Mine has been up near 24/7 for 7 years.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Monitor ever

Pros: This monitor is great. I bought 2 of these and had a friend buy a third, we have all had it for over 3 years, and they are still running strong.

Cons: One of my monitor's buttons were kind of hard to trigger, but that worked itself out eventually.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent LCD ruined by horrible interface

Pros: -Good prize for the size
-Image on screen is pretty clear and looks good

Cons: -Touchscreen controls are horrendous. Often they freeze up. This is a pain if you switch inputs often like I do. It requires you to unplug your monitor. My touchscreen's completely given out now so I don't have access to my monitor's settings or input switching options anymore.
-Viewing angle is pretty bad, even for an LCD.

Other Thoughts: You can find a better monitor for a similar price these days. Look elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsWow for WoW

Pros: 1920x1200 Resolution is awesome. TONs of desktop space.
Color is great right out of the box
Monitor has a Rapid response time setting of 2ms
PIP mode is handy

Cons: Sound output is only for proprietary sound bar. It would be nice to output sound from HDMI source to other speakers.

Other Thoughts: I would prefer a Matte screen surface which has lower glare, however almost all new displays are glossy so there's not much choice there.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Big monitor with multiple port support.

Cons: There is severe light leakage from all four edges of the panel. The color balance is very off on initial settings. The monitor's maximum brightness is absurdly high. So is the contrast. After calibration, it's much better but the light leakage is pretty bad especially with black screens.

4 out of 5 eggsBottom line is I'm happy

Pros: Price is outstanding. 1920x1200. The touchscreen controls are better than buttons. HDMI input, cool, I hope someday to put that to use.

Cons: I wish it had a bit more vertical viewing angle. As I look at it, at the top of the display, colors are a little darker than at the center or the bottom. This doesn't affect usability much

A glossy display only means any light in the background is reflected; same for a glossy bevel.

Other Thoughts: I had a 1600x1200 monitor, and I couldn't stomach giving up 150 vertical pixels, so I decided to buy this. I don't regret it -- I like this monitor a lot. It's worth the awesome price.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good so far.

Pros: Very nice size screen.
Very vibrant colors.
1920x1200/16:10.
Seems like good build quality.

Cons: Some Backlight bleed which seems to be getting more noticeable after each week passes but nothing unexpected since researching the monitor shows this.

Other Thoughts: It seems like a very good monitor for the price I paid. The Backlight bleed is not a very big issue to me but makes me wonder if it might hinder with its life span.
