3 out of 5 eggsEverything is great, except one glaring problem

Pros: Gorgeous looking
Very crisp image
Light weight
Energy efficient.

Cons: Colors are off, LED backlighting slightly overdone.

Other Thoughts: I just cant get it to match the other 6 different monitors I have in the office. It is a problem with the blues, the blues look purplish. I've tried adjusting it, I tried returning for a new monitor. The Blues are purply. Otherwise I love it, but the Blue/purple problem, aigh!

Most may not notice it, but in a room full of monitors, it is obvious.

5 out of 5 eggsHuge, Sleek, Top Quality

Pros: Seems larger than a 23", very stylish and unique, glass bezel (looks like glass), metal arm and base, very sturdy if properly tightened, assembly was a breeze takes a min or two and your done, and very well built.

Cons: Free cable/internet not included....not really a con but this thing have a lil weight to it, due to the build quality of course, also when your pc is in sleep mode the pwr led light blinks, its a white glow but its a slow blink and not enough to annoy me.

Other Thoughts: This monitor was built to compete with high end models but with out all the added extras. It came very well packaged. The colors this monitor display are very bright and vivid. Tons of options to customize settings. It seems to be set up almost perfect from the factory, I toned down the brightness some thats it. This monitor complements my Gateway GT5625e case however, I would recommend this to those that dont have a gateway.
My Build: Seasonic 430 80+B, Asus Max.IV Gene-Z/Gen3, Corsair Dom. 1866, Kingston HyperX 120 SSD, Seagate 2TB, Corsair H-80, i7 2600K, EVGA 560ti ....

5 out of 5 eggs23" Gateway

Pros: -Thin
-Nice styling
-HD resolution
-Cool stand

Cons: -The monitor tends to lean slightly to the left, but can usually be fixed if I tighten the screw on the bottom. Overall not too big of a deal.

Other Thoughts: Great monitor.

5 out of 5 eggsExtra note

Pros: Very sturdy. support arm is metal and doesn't allow the monitor to sag if attached correctly.

Cons: (Read previous review)

Other Thoughts: I forgot to comment on one thing in the last review i made. Although the arm for the stand sits off center it is very sturdy and as long as you have the screw in the bottom tightened correctly it sits perfectly stable and level with no sag.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor

Pros: Ive had this for a few months now and had only one issue when i first got it. (read cons) This monitor has an excellent picture and great settings to get it to look the way you want although its pretty close right out of the box. Also included VGA, HDMI, and DVI cables so i didnt have to worry about buying any of those.

Cons: when i first used it right out of the box i thought it had a dead pixel which wasnt a huge deal but after a few days of use the pixel worked again and hasnt had a problem since.

Other Thoughts: Great monitor. Great picture. Great deal. Works perfectly.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Looking Monitor

Pros: Very sharp looking monitor. I love the design of it. Was a little curious about how stable the stand would feel, being offset and everything.

But taking it out of the box, the stand is actually heavier than I expected. And the support arm on the monitor fits very snug into the base. Not worried about it at all.

As far as the picture goes, it looks great. The colors out of the box are a little off, but that's expected. I've gotten it looking pretty good for now, but still have some more tweaking to do before I get it right.

Cons: The one I got has a single pixel stuck on green. I've tried a few methods to fix it, but nothing has worked yet. I realize this is somewhat common with monitors. I just got unlucky with which box I grabbed.

This is why I knocked off one egg. But I would still highly recommend this monitor to anybody.

Other Thoughts: I bought this from a different store, mostly because I like to see a monitor in person before I buy it. I was glad I went, because it did let me get a good look at the stand (this was my biggest worry going in).

5 out of 5 eggsLove this monitor

Pros: -Big, nice looking screen
-Really slick looking - everything is shiny
-Super easy to set up - even had a thumb screw to attach the monitor to the base
-1920x1080 resolution
-TONS of color calibration settings

I haven't fully explored the extent that the color calibration tools are capable of, but its got RGB controls, hue/tint, brightness and contrast so overall this is huge step up from older generation monitors.

This is thing is just big and bright and after a day of use, I'm impressed.

Cons: Some of the tape that wraps the monitor in its protective plastic in the box had this glue that was kind of melted to the monitor. Not a huge deal, but considering how classy this thing looks, it would have been nice to not have to spend 10 minutes meticulously scraping it off.

Other Thoughts: I use the monitor for premiere pro, dreamweaver, flash, and photoshop, and my wife uses lightroom. I went from 1440x900 to 1920x1080 and its just so much more real estate. I was able to grab this thing as newegg was blowing them out so I got a great deal. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase. If it lasts a couple of years, I'll be even more satisfied.
