Pros: The picture quality on this product blows my old CRT away. No ghosting, No blurring, No lag, No pixelating, Bright.
Cons: Documentation could be better, Screen very bright as a stock setting.
Other Thoughts: My con's aren't really cons I felt I was pressured to write something other than none in that section :)...I suggest setting the monitor to max brightness and contrast and turn off the Dynamic Contrast (way too bright) and then set your brightness and contrast with your graphics card software. One thing I also did was I gathered a photo I had taken with a film camera, which I also had scanned to my computer and adjusted my color by comparing the image on the screen with the actual photo. Sort of a cheap calibration eh? but worked very well :) Im in love with this LCD monitor, is that wrong? :)

Pros: Response time, contrast levels, vastly superior dot pitch, colors better than the TN panel's I've tried in the past.
Cons: Not adjustable, not the prettiest construction around, some backlight bleed is present at default brightness levels.
Other Thoughts: TN Panels have come a long way to be sure, there is zero visible dithering on this monitor and the colors are superb. You get all the pixels of a 22" monitor (1680x1050!) in a more condensed package; this size of monitor is ideal for gaming because you never have to look far from the center of the monitor! Not to mention this one's much cheaper! Unless your eyesight is going, makes little sense to get any other widescreen unless you go over 24 inches and get a resolution bump. A+++

Pros: nice picture, no dead or stuck pixels,no ghosting
high def pictures really look good, only game I've tested so far is Farcry 2. this game is all about the outdoor lighting and looks fantastic with all the settings maxed out although my GTX260 sp216 OCX does struggle a little bit at these settings. still looks very good with geometry and a few other settings lowered a little. a big plus, in my book, is a wider field of vision in first person shooter games
Cons: not really a con i guess but fixed resolution videos are smaller on the screen due to smaller pixel size
Other Thoughts: had to RMA the first one, UPS was slow but Newegg was great as usual! in response to the reviewer on 11/11. This is a review of the product not Newegg. Bottom line, the first one I got was bad, are you really suggesting I give it a good review?

Other Thoughts: Nobodys display lasts forever. It will be interesting to se if this one goes for 5 years.

Pros: The Name & The price says it all for me. I have been using view sonic monitors in all my system builds. This is my second monitor for myself from view sonic even the older 1 I own is still top notch. I just wanted duel monitors.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I understand that sometimes someone gets a bad egg but is that any reason to leave a bad review? Weather is be a monitor, memory chip, video card, or processor . I would like to see anybody make 1000's of parts and not have 1 or 2 bad ones slip by quality control. For the most part, the manufacture will make good on a malfunction and I know NEWEGG is top notch in my book as far as someone needing a replacement for a D.O.A. item
