Other Thoughts: Best monitor I've ever owned! Almost 2 years of everyday use, and still going strong. I waited this long to post review, because I wanted to be sure of dependebility. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Pros: PC WORLD Rated it a 10 and gave ViewSonic an award to prove it!.....From ViewSonic's web site it points to the award....says it's the top of the list out of 10 lcd's reviewed..
Consumes less power too!
Cons: Price
Other Thoughts: And more over,,,the reviews here at newegg i trust more then a website that gets money from it's reviews and or "free stuff"

Pros: The reason this monitor is so expensive is because its LED lit. Now their are thousands on LED's and one fall back to LCD monitors is that their will always be bleed through causing more of a gray rather than a black that a pla-ma will provide you. This new tech can control the amount of power (brightness) going to each LED, so when a part of the screen is supposed to be black. It will dim or turn off that LED producing a quality black no other commonly lit LCD can produce. Notice the contrast ratio of this monitor, you can't get anywhere near this with any other LCD monitor only a expensive plasma maybe. This new brand new technology and will start to drop in price very quickly. Within a couple months this should be close to the prices of normal LCD monitors.
