Pros: Beautiful picture, perfect size, I appreciate the energy saving features.

Cons: Dust magnet.

Pros: Great colors, crisp, thin. Very bright for sunny rooms. Nice and straight forward OSD.

Cons: I know not to expect much from built-in speakers but it's like they actually took the speakers out of a PSP and built them into the back of the monitor facing straight backwards. They're beyond horrible.

The dynamic contrast isn't that great. Being an LED it should have better control over the lighted and darkened zones. The whole thing goes dark when you bring up a dark web page making multi-tasking annoying.

Other Thoughts: I picked this up at a pawn shop for $95. I highly recommend it if you can pick it up on sale and you're looking for a deal. For $160 (current Newegg price after discount) I would probably go with something else.

Pros: I just bought an acer a week before this Viewsonic and the viewsonic has WAY better color. It is an excellent monitor and the price makes it all that much better. Would definitely recommend this. Also this has the screw holes to hang it from the wall and the Acer did not. Worst part was they were the same price.

Cons: no hdmi plug but it does have the upgraded white plug

Cons: -The blue light on the power button gets annoying
-Speaker quality is HORRIBLE. If you buy this, get some dedicated speakers because this monitor will make your ears bleed
-There is an ugly logo of some birds at the top left side of the monitor. I'm not a big fan of it

Pros: Nice size, glare-resistant screen, very thin, good design.

Cons: Took an egg away for this, but occasionally you'll notice some "screen fuzz" on this monitor, especially when moving objects around on screen (i.e. windows).

Other Thoughts: If you're serious about computing, or computer gaming, get a better monitor. If you are a light computer user, you won't notice anything wrong at all, and this is probably a good bet for you.

Other Thoughts: This is the second one I bought. I have them set up in a dual monitor display for my work computer. The first one is over a year old with no issues. I expect the same from this monitor. Just great quality from Viewsonic.

Pros: Sharp display, even at maximum resolution (1920 x 1080). Also, the color accuracy seems to be better than average. We've been shipping Viewsonic monitors with our workstations and servers for some 10 years and have had only one failure during that time.

Cons: Touch controls are too touchy. During setup I kept getting messed up because my relatively thick fingers would perturb the touch point adjacent to the one I was trying to use. I'd rather have mechanical push buttons that give some tactile feedback and don't respond until actually pushed.

Other Thoughts: The jury is still out on the longevity of this product as opposed to the fluorescent back-lights found in older LCD monitors. Our test bench monitor uses fluorescent back-lighting and has been in daily use since 2005. In theory, LED back-lighting should outlast fluorescent by at least 5:1.

The sound will be tinny, mainly because of the small size of the built-in speakers. If you want high fidelity take a look at Newegg's speaker offerings.

Pros: Worked great while it lasted.

Cons: I am so tired of losing electrionic equipment because of bad capacitors. Hopefully the replacement VX2250 will have better capacitors.

CoolMax is another brand will will NEVER buy again. If you can find out, Rubycon (look out for imitations and knockoffs) is the brand to buy.

Other Thoughts: Another lie to watch out for is the "100,000 MTBF" tag. I think the Asians mean minutes not hours. The 100,000 MTBF figure is ment to mean over 11 years between failures. Some of these systems you'll be lucky to see 11 months.

Pros: good touch screen and ease of use

Cons: Side by side comparison with another brand showed terrible performance. Returned the original under warranty and the replacement still did not stack up. I do a lot of wide spread sheets and other wide formats for court and will have to replace this monitor very soon. Will never purchase this again
