5 out of 5 eggsGood?

Pros: Well what can I say? I have 2 moniters both on swivel arms.. recently I thought one of my moniters had a falt, I dont that that is the case this one is just so sharp and clear, the 3D is awesome, the clip ons (my wife wears glasses) was a stroke of genius. Built in speakers... havent used them!

Cons: Might make you spend more time on the computer...

Other Thoughts: Really can not find anything negitive.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: -Very good value
-Super light weight
-Crystal clear and super bright!
-Speakers are good

Cons: -Tilt axis is a bit stiff, almost feels like you're going to break it to adjust.
-Should have a better volume adjuster, too many steps to change volume
-Customer Service (View Sonic) failed to help my issue. Got a dead pixel straight from unboxing. CS took two weeks to respond to tell me they're not going to do anything about it.

Other Thoughts: Overall would be really good, only gave it three stars because I got a product that 99% right but paid 100%

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible company and products

Pros: None. Terrible product

Cons: No swivel base, only tilts, no height adjust. Bleeding in lower right hand corner that got worse as time went on. Terrible customer service. They would not send me a new monitor or even pay for shipping to replace with a refurb because it was 5 months ago when I bought this even though the problem was present out of the box.

Other Thoughts: Avoid Viewsonic at all costs.

5 out of 5 eggsLines

Pros: The monitor is thin, and sleek. The 3D works very well and because it uses polarization the glasses require no batteries. This screen is bright, it is at least twice as bright as my old LCD's but the colors are not washed out. In fact the colors are more vivid than my old monitor.

Cons: Now for the bad. The screen seems to have hair thin horizontal lines going across it as another reviewer stated. I am pretty sure it has something to do with the polarization technology it uses for the 3D. After a while the lines become less noticeable but in a side by side to another screen they are visible. Also the Tri-def software can be temperamental, if you have an Nvidia card though you may not have to use it.

Other Thoughts: For the price the lines are not a huge disappointment. After the first week I didn't even notice them. Also the lines are only present in 2D mode in 3D they go away. The speakers are noting special especially compared to my 5.1 surround, I would not chose this over another for the "high quality" sound.

3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for.

Pros: I really like the 3D. It really does look nice. I struggled between giving this three or four stars. I went with three.

Cons: I'm going to be a little harsh here.

I don't care what the specs say.. this isn't 1080p. Compared to ( <- this, it's certainly not at least. It has small lines all through the picture.. I'm guessing this has to do the refresh rate, but so does my vizo and it doesn't have these annoying lines.

Don't get me wrong... the picture is way better than my 10 year old 19 inch monitor; but it's just these lines I can't get over, it aggravates me to no end.

Also, don't get me started on the premium sound. You have to open it, and reassign where the sound is coming from each time you switch devices. Watching a video with sound coming from the monitor, gets a little loud in the house, so, let's plug up our headphones and go right? No. This mutes everything, it won't work on headphones OR through the monitor until you go into settings and reset which one you want to use. I thought it was messed up for like three hours,

Other Thoughts: For what I paid for, I'm okay with it. I wish I would have saved a couple hundred bucks more and got an HD 3D TV with a 120hz refresh rate; but life goes on and I'll learn from the experience, just wish it didn't cost me 260 dollars to do so.

I hope this review helps you guys. Like I said, it's not a BAD monitor. If you want 3D and decent quality, (I said it was definitely not 1080p, but that doesn't mean its bad quality, its definitely better than standard definition, and the lines through the screen are less prominent [sometimes invisible] when viewing videos, it's just not up to my standards for what I would call HD viewing) and a fantastic price, this is the monitor for you. I would have given it four stars if it was not for these lines. Ugh, these lines...

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget 3D monitor

Pros: 3D, hooks up to PS3 and Computer, does what it says, 3D can be quite stunning at times.

Cons: Height is not adjustable... it's sitting on top of a box right now for height. TriDef software is hit / miss.

Other Thoughts: This monitor is perfect for what I want done... a Cheap 3D monitor that accommodates both my PS3 (HDMI) and PC (DVI), without the $400+ price tag.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent budget 3D

Pros: Bright, good HD quality, Tridef works with a wide variety of games, polarization technology

Cons: Tridef software only comes on a CD, so if you lose the CD you are outta luck.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bright crisp, colorful image as a regular monitor. Factory color/gamma/contrast were pretty close out of the box. This was my first taste of 3D for games. The images were softer (less sharp), but fairly bright with decent color, as compared to an active 3D set (see below)

Cons: Cheapest stand I've seen; just a snap-in foot; no adjustment except very slight tilt. Plugs point straight out the back, so no flush wall mount. The OSM indicates which buttons to press as: "1:Exit Select:2", suggesting that button 1 is left, 2 right. Nope, just the opposite. It's an annoying mismatch. If you purchase this as a 3D gamer, I think you will be disappointed. The technology has potential, but the implimentation is just not ripe. The 2d menus, buttons and pointer react strangely with the 3D world presented beyond them. It is visually fatiguing to have to look at both at the same time, and you always do while you play. Part of the issue is that when the 2D object blocks only one eye's portion of a 3D object, your eyes don't know how to resolve the half-image. I suspect that it's a software issue, and one that TriDef (required for 3D) struggles with. Otherwise, the 3D imagery is okay, but not great.

Other Thoughts: I bought this monitor after viewing two 55" 3d TVs, side-by-side, one passive, one active. I was so impressed with the passive technology for movies, I thought it might also be good for gaming. It isn't, or at least not in this particular software/hardware package. Two days after this one arrived, I passed it off to my daughter and ordered a 120HZ monitor and the Vision 2 active glasses (fm Newegg). Now I have both systems and can compare them directly. The 120HZ mon. is not the latest "lightboost" tech version, and I wish it was. The image is intolerably dark and the colors suffer. Now I have two 3D monitor choices and neither one is really playable or enjoyable. Call me disappointed. Also to NEWEGG: This monitor bounced around for 3 days in the UPS truck in it's retail packaging until they found me at home. It would be okay if you charged me a couple extra bucks and put it in a box.
