Pros: Wow, this View Sonic rocks! A Giant Screen. With native resolution I can have three apps on screen and work in all three with zero problems, e.g., Outlook, Excel, & Internet Explorer. Color was just a bit off for me but fixed quickly.

Cons: My only con was a dead pixel on the first one received. About 6" up from bottom and just slightly off center so it was always in sight and distracting to me.

Other Thoughts: Anyone used to using two or more monitors will not be won over immediately. An Excellent monitor but I think next time I would go with two 24" Monitors (or maybe buy a new desk that would support two 27 inch ones!) Gaming is awesome, response time is fantastic, but I have to Alt Tab to see TeamSpeak and other apps. I may try to make room and add either the 19" or 17" simply to see the additional apps.
Can't comment on the sound as I use a USB headset or a 150 watt 5.2 sound system; depends on whether I need a mic and/or if the wife is home.

Pros: no dead pixels, didn't need to tweak the settings much, sharp, bright, clear picture

Cons: the stand sits too low, had to put a couple of books under it to get it the right height

Other Thoughts: unless you just have to have that 120mhz for your games this is the monitor to buy.

Pros: Wide range of settings and inputs, all cables included (whether you need them or not-great for spares and differnt uses) no dead pixels, bright and brilliant accurate color, fast response, and well-designed, good-looking thin bezel. Excellent access to ports, great user interface with easy access to controls, and a small footprint, with a non-intrusive stand saving precious desktop space for a 27" widescreen HDMI monitor.

Cons: Not height adjustable. However you don't notice the lack of it, and save money accordingly.

Other Thoughts: I have owned Viewsonic monitors since they came out with their large CRT models in the mid-range market. I am going to purchase my next monitor from Viewsonic, but splurge for higher resolution. Not that I need it, but it will be USABLE at this size (or larger ISP panel Flat panel ISP screens drop in price).

Pros: 27"

Cons: I came across three issues with this monitor:

1) There was a cluster of dead pixs near center left.

2) When using an HDMI cable, the monitor displays a black border around the entire display when using the native resolution of 1920 x 1080. I confirmed that it was not the video card and cable as I replaced both while testing the monitor. However, the border is NOT displayed when using a DVI cable.

3) Tech Support is very poor and rude. When I contacted them about the border issue, they were fumbling around and could not provide any real answers other than I needed to contact my computer manufacturer. When I asked to be transferred to a senior support tech, I receive the following response:

"I apologize for the inconvenience it may bring you but we have to attend to other customers on queue. Feel free to contact us again if you have other technical concern. It will be disconnected within the next 30 seconds if we receive no further response."

I have owned ViewSonic monitors many years ago and regarded them as a solid company. However, something has changed since then and their quality control and poor tech support will prevent me from purchasing their products in the future.

Pros: I purchased two of these monitors and the picture on both look great right out of the box. I would have given them 5 eggs, but both monitors have two bad pixels each. And of course the dead pixels are located in an area that almost forces me to constantly focus on them.

Cons: Plastic frame around monitor is almost an inch wide

Pros: These monitors are BIG. Like others have said, the colors are a bit washed out, but you can play with the settings. A lot of real estate for the price, and very light for their size.

Cons: I bought two monitors. One came with multiple dead pixels (6-10) on the upper right hand corner. Hence the 3 egg rating. The customers are expected to pay in full for the product, and in return they should receive a non-defective product. I'll be contacting NewEgg support to see what their return policy is. It is pretty heart breaking to setup a product and right out of the box you notice dead pixels. I'm not asking for a lot, just a properly working product.

Pros: Great value for the features and size. Picture and resolution is clear and sharp (with setting adjustments). No dead pixels. Sturdy stand. Great response time (3ms). HDMI connector. LED backlight.

Cons: Mediocre speaker quality. Menu screen can be a little tricky (not a deal breaker, just a nitpick).

Other Thoughts: A common complaint is "washed out colors"; yes, out of the box the colors are a bit washed out but with a few minutes of adjusting the settings the colors, brightness, contrast, etc. are perfect! My biggest gripe are the built in speakers, they have a very "hollow" sound like listening through a tube or a speaker phone. I would have given this monitor 5 eggs if the built-in speakers were better. I just hooked up some old speakers I had laying around.

Pros: beautiful display, crisp sharp image and colors, no dead pixel issues,. i want 2 more :)

Cons: light bleeds thru when no vid signal, but never notice it when its displaying an image, even a very dark one.

Other Thoughts: if your looking for a 27 inch in this price range, its got the right inputs, and great picture. my rig is a amd 8350 16gb ram, and a gigabyte 3gb hd 7970 graphics card. crysis 3, far cry 3, bf3 all o ultra look sick!! on this monitor.

Pros: Great color. Crisp colors. No glare. Looked great right out of the box, without any tweaking.

Cons: None at this time

Other Thoughts: This one 27" monitor replaced my dual setup of HP HD Monitors. The HP Monitors were very good monitors, but had some issues with glare. The colors were not all the vibrant either. I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of these reviews suggesting the colors were bad. I am a photographer, and I was amazed at how much clearer and crisp my photos are displayed on this monitor.

Pros: Very nice monitor, great for editing movies, photos and gaming.
Nice and crisp, great color quality

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Wish I could get 2 more
