2 out of 5 eggsmotion blur or Pixel Persistence

Pros: it does what a 60hz and 1080 by 1920 does well at being a 60hz and 1080 by 1920 monitor

Cons: ether my was defective or my GTX 660 it has really bad Pixel Persistence on any application. word doc words will have a trail behind them. war thunder terrain will look strange and just look off.

Other Thoughts: no one seems to comment on the fact that it does this so it maybe just me or all the other reviewer are blind to this fact that mine has.

5 out of 5 eggsCrisp image, good value for the money

Pros: This is a very good monitor, especially when you consider the low price. It represents colors exactly right and the image is unbelievable sharp. I tested it using HDMI (which works perfect) but even through analog VGA it really looks good. So VGA support was not an afterthought on this monitor. One reviewer wrote that the stand is not adjustable, but this is not true - you CAN adjust the stand for optimal screen tilt position.

Cons: The speakers indeed are not built for "50 watt support", but they get the job done. If you want HiFi, you need to hook it up to an external powered speaker. the nice thing is that the monitor does have an output for that, which allows you to hook your powered speaker up directly from the monitor (thus through the HDMI sound interface) instead of having to go back to the PC and then change the default sound interface through windows.
Another con is that the stand is a bit flimsy, this could have been made a bit more robust. But once it is set-up on your desk, it really does not matter much how robust the stand is, it gets the job done just fine.
Another con is that no HDMI cable is included. They cost almost nothing on when bought on-line so not really a big deal but I think it should have been included.

Other Thoughts: Very good buy, especially considering the low price. Unbelievably good price - Monitors with a resolution and picture quality like this one once set you back $400 or more!

4 out of 5 eggsBuy for the picture, not the speakers

Pros: Great picture quality. I have used the HDMI and DVI ports. It sends audio over the HDMI cable just fine.

Cons: Poor audio quality. Other reviews compare the speakers to laptop speakers. That's being too generous. These speakers really are horrible. Pretend this monitor doesn't have speakers at all.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm happy with the monitor despite the poor speaker quality. I specifically shopped for a monitor with speakers. If I were to start over, I would remove that requirement from my wish list and only focus on the screen and input types.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Monitor, Horrible Speakers

Pros: Nice monitor, no glare, good color.

Cons: Don't rely on the built-in speakers. They will fail after a couple of months, and will constantly output a screeching sound. Very annoying.

Other Thoughts: Monitor itself it pretty good, built-in speakers are horrible. Get separate speakers.

3 out of 5 eggsContant No Signal Screen.

Pros: It's a good monitor for What it's worth, but after building a new computer, all I get is the No signal and a black screen.

Cons: Didn't come with an HDMI cable. After building my PC I keep getting No Signal during boot. I've taken out my video card and put it back checking all the parts. The ports to the monitor seem fine too. Could it be that I domy have an HDMI cable? Even BIOS won't pull up.

4 out of 5 eggsscrolling a little odd

Pros: Came right up

Cons: When I scroll text, it has a tendency to look a bit green as it is scrolling. Looks better with HDMI than DVI, but not much.

3 out of 5 eggsRefresh Rate 60

Pros: all the stuff they listed.

Cons: the major thing they left out of the description REFRESH RATE of 60Hz.

Other Thoughts: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
