Cons: Bad service I had to contact Consumer Affair to get this issue done..! I didn't directly with them..! bad costumer service..!

Pros: Great contrast. The sharpness is amazing when you watch a movie like ''Old Québec city 4K'' on YouTube, with people in background.

Cons: Nothing for now.

Pros: Awesome colour rendition. Sale price. Speakers!

Cons: did not like the monitor buttons, but that is not enough to take a star away as that gets touched rarely.

Pros: It has the potential to be a great monitor.

Cons: Dead pixels... Dead pixels everywhere.

Other Thoughts: I just got my second monitor and it has dead pixels as well. Not sure if there is any quality assurance because it's such a cheap monitor or if viewsonic is just lacking in the qa department.

Pros: Amazing high resolution screen. Colors seem good from the amount of time I used the display.

Cons: Had a cluster of dead pixels the size of a dime. It comes with a HDMI cable but no Display Port 1.2 cable.

Other Thoughts: I would have given 5 eggs but my display was defective. I RMA'd the display for a replacement and didn't realize until a couple days after that NewEgg refunded me instead. It was a hassle but ended up a good thing because I was able to repurchase it with an additional $30 instant off coupon.

Pros: Very crisp display (high DPI) and beautiful colors. Coding (viewing a lot of text) is easy on the eyes, graphics in games is beautiful (heros of the storm, deus ex human rev, mgs revengeance), don't really watch movies/shows on the computer altho I think 1080p is sufficient for those.

Cons: Can't adjust height and buttons aren't easy to use

Other Thoughts: After being used to retina[-like] displays on mobile devices (iphone, nexus tablet, surface pro, etc), needed a high DPI monitor as well. This one met my expectations with the appropriate price point at the time (bought with promotional sale). Just also need to fiddle with OS settings and compatibility modes of apps since most aren't handling high DPI directly)

Pros: Viewsonic's are one of the most under estimated manufactures for screens, ive used a 1080p model of this (slightly different but pretty much the same) for the last 4 years, and it is still working, and is currently my 2nd screen with this 4k as my 1st, Both look good ( bad-a was censored). I Bought this screen specifically because of the 3ms response time, and the brand that ive used for years, It works for FPSs and Photo editing with the high contrasting colors.

Cons: Buttons for settings/power are on bottom of screen w/ a clear plastic guard blocking them, easier to just leave the screen on idle then try to turn it off,

Other Thoughts: Great screen, just need to have the hardware to back it if you hope to ever use it for any game, ( running SLIed x2 980 Ti boosts OCed to 1450 mhtz,)

Pros: Very bright. Text appears very clear. Excellent response time, I do not notice any issues while gaming, or at any other time. Blacks appear very dark. Everything is crisp and clear, with stunning colors.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I did not have the room for a larger monitor (I use it in the living room, on an arm system over a recliner :-), and this was the smallest that I could find with the 4K resolution. It is a beautiful piece of equipment. I would recommend this to everyone.

Pros: Ended up being an HDMI 2.0 cable, but for some reason one of the HDMI 2.0 ports on the monitor was locked at 30hz. Switching the port allowed 60hz over HDMI. Still went with using displayport overall though.

Other Thoughts: The cons seem pretty straight forward. It seems silly to ship a HDMI 2.0/1.2 Displayport 60hz capable monitor without a cable that can handle it. Almost every other brand does. Instead, we are required to purchase one separately, this is where the egg came off.
