5 out of 5 eggsGreat projector!!

Pros: Very simple -- fantastic for Wii through the component in. Speakers sound really good for a projector. Can't beat the price.

Cons: It doesn't have a menu, but honestly the image looks really good for a budget projector. Even in moderate lighting, the image is very clean.

Other Thoughts: You can find an old used projector that probably will need a bulb for this price, but for the money this is the best bang for the buck option. It may be recertified, but it looked and worked like new for me. This projector does exactly what I wanted -- occasional use for video games such as Wii or Playstation 2 and for watching a movie on the side of the house. The backpack case is a necessary option especially if you travel with this. The mirror is cool too -- laying on the floor and playing Tetris on the ceiling is wild! I highly recommend this projector!!

4 out of 5 eggsworks well

Pros: Works with one of my laptops easily via s-video out, Nice bright display for powerpoint's even in a well lit room. For the price it works better then anything else I have used.

Cons: resolution not very good above 800x600 or so. Can adjust focus but not shape of image for low or high projector angles.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: For the price I would say this is the best projector you could ever buy. I bought it because I wanted a screen I could transport with my xbox. The speakers are WAY better than I expected. The HD hookup makes a 70"+ display size look almost tv quality. Again I have to say the biggest factor is the price, I have looked around and cant find anything close to this below $450. Even in a room with a decent amount of light a can see the picture well enough that I can play video games no problem.

Cons: I wish I could hook cable tv directly up to it so I would never need to use a normal tv again.

Other Thoughts: If you are thinking about buying a personal tv STOP, order this. Obviously you could set it up next to your freinds 50" LCD and it wouldnt quite keep up in clairity but when you tell him how much you paid and then move it back to turn it in to a 75" screen he will start crying.

5 out of 5 eggsGOOD

Pros: Good picture for price!
Says its refurbed, but it looks brand new to me!
Really good picture, got it set up wit surround sound, dvd player, and my xbox.

Cons: You got to set it on the ground or table, cant hang on ceiling. This can get in the way of the couch and stuff. NOT a big problem though.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: I love my projector. I have it hooked up to my tv fios, dvd player and my computer. I have a lot of movies on my pc. Also like to surf with the huge screen from my bed. I bought mine new from HSN with screen for a good deal.

Cons: One day my projector would not come on. I thought the lamp was blown. It seemed to soon for that though. I noticed when I plugged it in there was a shoot of power and I couls see light. So one day I thought about it and realized there was no tension when pushing the power button. I lifted up the plastic around the buttons and sure enough the little plastic holding the mechanism to turn the unit had snapped off. I fixed it myself with a little piece of cardboard! I was so glad I didn't just assume it was dead.

Other Thoughts: It is real fun to play with my 2 yr old niece's head. we put paper in front of it so then she is staring at a blank page trying to figure out where the cartoon characters that were just on it went. lol She flipped the paper/ My 16 yr old daughter had her convinced that she had nick jr characters tattooed on her arm. She said Pam you have colors on your arm!?!

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent picture and the sound from this unit is very good. I'm currently testing it out with WDTV that I also received from newegg. I would have to say I am as happy (if not more) as the other reviewers in reference to this product.

Cons: I let the lamp warm as the guide said and after a few minutes noticed a weird smell (like a lamp being too close to something for an extended period of time). I checked the side of the unit and immediately noticed that the fan was not functioning at all.

Other Thoughts: I don't really want to go through the trouble of trying to send the product to infocus and then waiting on it and I'm wondering if this is something I could fix on my own without worry. Problem could be that the fan is not even connected inside. I'm rating this as a 3 I would like to give it 5 based on what I have seen so far but I'm a little upset over the fan issue since it seems to be unsafe to use this without damaging the unit.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome deal!

Pros: Now you're not reading this if you are looking for an overpriced videophile piece of equipment to impress your neighbors with numbers of lumens or pixels. Keeping that in mind this is an excellent piece of tech for the money. I've got a clear picture that covers one wall of my bedroom and is plenty bright enough with the curtains closed to be enjoyed during the day.

Cons: it doesn't make popcorn to go with the movies.

4 out of 5 eggs640x480 (480i)

Pros: The specs are wrong, it's actually 640x480. Otherwise I'm sure it's a good player. Do your research.
