5 out of 5 eggsbought a second one

Pros: lightweight, driver works well - flexible extension options

Cons: driver a little clunky to install - windows update modifies right away, electronics block too thick, hard cover a bit clumsy to use

Other Thoughts: I bought one and was happy enough that I bought another for my wife.

3 out of 5 eggsUSB port in back broke

Pros: *Very useful, I took this thing with me everywhere.
*One screen for code one screen for reference/chat/etc..
*D20 + 5 street cred :D

Cons: USB plug in back broke after barely any jostling.
Now I have to figure out how to send this thing in to get fixed, if that's even possible.

Other Thoughts: I'm torn on buying another one if i can't get this one fixed. Having multiple monitors for my LT is really nice, but unreliable products give me the sad face :(

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect mobile MBP companion

Pros: Great second screen. One USB is all that's needed. Worked with MBP after downloading displaylink driver.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: It's no mac screen but it does the trick. Just need an extra screen because I'm a developer who works remote daily... this does the trick.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat every laptop needs

Pros: - Comes with a protective cover that doubles as the stand - but is still thin enough to fit nicely in a standard laptop bag.
- Excellent monitor quality (equivalent to my laptop's 1320x768).
- USB connection is nice; this leaves the DSUB free for a projector so that during a presentation I still have two monitors just for me!

Cons: These are minor inconveniences given the quality of the monitor and the extra utility it provides for a laptop.
- Software is a little awkward to install on Win7
- Limited to a single screen resolution

Other Thoughts: Anyone who works in multiple windows on a laptop could use a second monitor. There are many out there, but Lenovo beats out the competitors in price and monitor quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Portable Monitor

Pros: Design, size, weight, no-power cord, built in stand
Cover acts as a protector for the screen when travelling

Cons: The Gamma of the screen is different from the Thinkpad T510 Laptop display.

Other Thoughts: For the money -- this is excellent, it is well thought out, and is trully portable, I can take it anywhere.

4 out of 5 eggsGood travel monitor

Pros: It is light, folds flat, has a decent image. Works good as an extended desktop display for my identically sized HP Elitebook work laptop.

Cons: Stand is flimsy. Image is good, but not as good as the display on the HP Elitebook.

Other Thoughts: I would probably buy it again.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Useful

Pros: This thing is light....really light...its smooth black finish is nice, and it worked beautifully with the laptop

Cons: Had to install via CD on my Dell inspiron n7010 ....i hope its more plug and play on my new Dell ultrabook

Other Thoughts: As a Web Designer....Multiple screens is not a want....its a need
i NEED to be able to code and watch updates in real time

this screen is lightweight, beautifully black, and surprisingly good looking, plays youtube well and is a pleasure to own

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Dual Monitor Setup!

Pros: I purchased this since I'm a business traveler and need to have two screens when I do spreadsheets, presentations, emails, etc. Compact design so it's very light weight and fits easily into my backpack. Powered by a USB cord that is included so no need for an external power cord which is convenient. Also, the slide off cover is very nice so that the screen is protected. Definitely worth the price!

Cons: Will not get powered unless you have the AC adapter plugged into your laptop.

Other Thoughts: Not a knock against the product or features but it's considered a "computer" so when I go through Airport Security, I have to place it in a separate bin. Buy my iPad is considered an e-reader so it can stay packed up. Gotta love the TSA!

5 out of 5 eggsTerrific

Pros: Very light and simple.

Cons: Only brightness setting. No contrast or gamma.

Other Thoughts: I develop software from home. My wife tells me to get out of the house now and then so I go down to my local coffee shop for a little while now and then (I try not to abuse the time). Since I work with both SQL Server and Visual Studio, it helps to have two monitors so I don't have to keep switching between windows. This is the perfect solution as I don't have to plug into power anywhere and I can still work (or chat) for a couple hours on just the battery.

I also brought it with me to make a presentation to some company execs. Everything was in one bag in fit under the plane seat easily.
Turning it around to face them and mirroring my desktop worked great. This is so much better then trying to set up a projector, connect to a t.v. or heaven forbid, have a few people look over your shoulder.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT portable monitor! Does its job well!

Pros: * Portability - despite its viewing size, this monitor is extremely light and thin, making it extremely portable. I tried the AOC E1649FWU, and it felt cheaply-made and actually split down the seam after falling about 2 feet to the ground...not that I recommend putting your monitors to the "drop test". The Lenovo is very slim; it can easily slide flush into a 15" laptop bag, messenger bag, or anything large enough to accommodate a laptop. It takes up very little depth.

* Quality - unlike the aforementioned AOC, the Lenovo feels very well-put-together. There is a quality feel to it. It's not heavy, but it does feel sturdy and substantial, unlike the very thin, airy, empty feel of the AOC.

* Features - The screen cover is great; it completely protects it from anything else that might be packed alongside it. You can use it as a monitor stand, but the rubberized kickstand foot is sufficient in keeping the monitor upright. The 16-level brightness control is nice. 1 cable!!!

Cons: none that I've found

Other Thoughts: This monitor is worth the money! Grab one! I use this as a travel monitor for my Mac Mini, and it works perfectly... As a tech geek, there is something very gratifying about being able to pack my entire desktop computing rig (Mac Mini, USB monitor, wireless keyboard & trackpad, and cables) in a messenger bag!!

I also recently purchased an Acer 11" Netbook, so I now have another use for this monitor... an extremely portable second monitor to expand my netbook's desktop.

You won't be disappointed.
