4 out of 5 eggsThis was from a Q&A I received. Figured I'd put it up

Pros: Color, Brightness, Design

Cons: Finicky Powercord & Buttons

Other Thoughts: In regards to color, which seems to be your main focus here, IMHO it is very very good. I have not done any heavy duty calibration testing with it, but I do web design and I regularly use editing software i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc. I think I am more discerning (or at least more particular) than most and I am very satisfied with it's color reproduction and the IPS brightness/contrast. And yes I put the "Novo-Vision" to sRGB when I work with color.

I don't know what you mean with your f.lux question though. I use it for both my Mac and Windows PC's...f.lux adjusts the monitor color according to your personal preferences, it doesn't change the monitor itself.

Monitor settings via touch-activated-lit-buttons, which are on the lower-right of the monitor. Not underneath, on the front face. Looks great, but slightly finicky.

Speaking of finicky, my only gripe on this thing is the power attachment on the monitor. Best advice, try not to fiddle with it too much.

4 out of 5 eggsNatural looking colors, smooth tonal gradation

Pros: Natural looking colors (but limited gamut) WITHOUT the need for any color calibration/adjustment. Very natural grey levels across almost the whole screen. Smooth tonal gradation. Convincing blacks and specula highlights. Shadow details looks better then my 5 yrs old Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP.
To my eyes, 1080 HD TV on this monitor (with all smudge filters in driver off) is better then most $1K LCD TVs.

Cons: At the sales price, none of the cons here is a deal breaker.
Color gamut is limited (white LEDs limits?). Cannot display vivid reds and greens to the level of the Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP but somehow manage smooth, natural grey levels. Very convincing lavender.
Yellow is a little problematic. A yellow balloon (Macy's parade) looks orange-yellow in the shadows and greenish-yellow in a narrow mid-level band. Most of the time, the tone shifts in yellow is 'euphonic'

Other Thoughts: I believe the smooth tonal gradation I noticed is the result of good factory 'native' color calibration (vs. PC side color calibration/compensation). So this is the 1st monitor that I will NOT apply any color calibration.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Edgeless

Pros: Great for the price I bought them for. Nice to have built-in speakers and LED instead of LCD.

Cons: Not edgeless. @Alex, I have no idea what Alex is talking about scaling, I have a 780gtx and I have it scaled out as far as possible. 100% horizontal and 100% vertical scaling. If you buy one and look at the screen closely under a strong light, you can see that there is about 2/5th of an inch on the so called "edgeless screen" that is not pixels but a very good dark black camo color.

Other Thoughts: If you are purchasing this for eyefinity setups, don't waste your money and time. There's a reason why there is no eyefinity setup of any edgeless monitors on youtube or anywhere on the internet. They don't exist yet! I've seen lg, samsung, aoc, acer, and hp edgeless monitors and they are all the same as this. Not even close to being edgeless.

5 out of 5 eggsBorder around edge

Pros: see other thoughts

Cons: see other thoughts

Other Thoughts: I am writing this to clarify something. Almost all monitors have a border around the screen when using HDMI. It has nothing to do with the monitor. It is all part of your graphics settings. All you have to do it go into your card's settings, enable scaling, and scale it to the proper size. It is extremely easy to do. There is nothing wrong with this monitor. If you feel as though changing the setting is too difficult you can usually just use DVI instead of HDMI.

4 out of 5 eggsReally Nice

Pros: Vibrant accurate colors,Accurate blacks, Several different color profiles, Sturdy metal base, Easily put together, Price

Cons: Response time is a little slow at times

Other Thoughts: I was nervous about purchasing this monitor. It is an unknown brand for me and there weren't a lot of reviews, but I am glad that I did. There is a small sliver of black on the right, left, and top so the picture isn't edge to edge. However I knew that from the other reviews so I wasn't upset about it and I really hardly notice it.
The reason I docked an egg is response time. It performs beautifully for the most part. The problem I have experienced is when photos or such are enlarged it takes several seconds to become clear and detailed again. It isn't so bad that I would consider returning, but it might be a problem for someone else.
Overall, it is a really solid monitor and I am glad I bought it.

3 out of 5 eggsThis monitor is NOT edgeless

Pros: Cheap, has VESA mounts, AH-IPS panel

Cons: Do a search for this model and you will find other reviews and picture showing this is not an edgeless LCD and in fact has a fairly significant gap between the edge of the screen and bezel. It will not look like the picture shown. Just an FYI. this misleading advertising is inexcusable.
