Speakers and webcam: confirmed
This review is from: lenovo Thinkvision LT2223p Business Black 21.5" 5ms HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 2000000:1 (1000:1) w/webcam&speakers
Pros: This is the holygrail of monitors with integrated webcam+mic+speakers. I was very pleased with this display overall. Lenovo wanted so sell us a $200 port replicator for use with the helix, however seeing as how this has usb 3.0 ports i figured it was worth an extra $100 to get the usb 3.0 hub attached to a VOIP monitor. Display is very bright (i had to dim it to be comfortable) and clear. Speakers are great for everyday use (windows sounds, youtubes etc..) but not the best for gaming or watching feature films.
Cons: Newegg has the wrong model # in the title of this, i can confirm i received the pictured lt2223z (with webcam/mic/speakers) and not the LT2223p (monitor only). The biggest problem i came across was severe lag when using a wireless mouse in one of the usb 3.0 ports. There was a full 2 seconds of lag between cursor updates- completely unusable. The weird thing is that the mouse worked fine for 3 days before completely crapping out. I tested different wireless mice too and the problem remained. I did not have any corded mice to test with, as it could be a power shielding issue on the monitor that would not affect wired mice. Other usb 3.0 devices seemed to perform fine, however i didnt do any extensive benchmarking of usb 3.0 speeds. My next biggest gripe on this monitor was the buttons and OSD. While it is somewhat handy to have physical volume buttons, it would be much more handy to have an input selection button. There is no way to disable the flaky "autodetect input" feature and to manually change inputs you have to go through FIVE nested submenus just to get to it. Super annoying. Also this monitor has an issue coming out of sleep mode. You need to power the monitor on and off to kick it out of sleep mode, super annoying.
Other Thoughts: I hope lenovo releases a firmware update to address the usb 3.0 and/or sleep issue, as those were my biggest complaints. Other than that this monitor is VERY nice and extremely well priced given the price of buying a USB 3.0 hub, webcam, mic and speakers separately.
