New horizontal image correction with easy-slide control technology Epson’s horizontal and vertical image (keystone) correction means you can project a rectangular image from almost any angle. The EX5210 automatically corrects the image vertically. And for horizontal image correction, just move the easy-slide control bar to make the necessary adjustments. Your EX5210 can be off to the side and above or below the screen, while your presentation is front and center.
Energy-efficient E-TORL lamp, exclusively from Epson The E-TORL lamps maximize your presentation time up to 5000 hours, while minimizing your costs. It also minimizes both light diffraction and light leakage.
USB plug ‘n play instant setup The Epson EX5210 incorporates USB plug n play instant setup allowing you to instantly view your images on both the screen and your computer, one standard USB cable does it all and no more computer function keys or bulky VGA cables. The USB connection also enables you to maintain control over your presentation with the page up/page down function on the remote control. Other Thoughts: I put this projector up in a classroom for a medium sized Smart board, but it couldn't zoom in enough and the picture was bigger than the Smart board. Luckily we found in the menus you can shrink the image size. The menu system is a bit clumsy but it did work. Picture is fantastic have it setup in the living room facing a wall the picture is roughly 10' wide by 8' tall and looks fantastic. Really drawn to this projector for the price of the unit itself as well as the price of replacement lamps. $150 is much more reasonable than some others on the market. All in all I am very satisfied with the projector will be happy to see how it performs in the future. Cons: Horrible smell of burning dust on start up but thats to be expected....
