  • newegg Brilliant image quality Featuring WXGA 1280x800 resolution, the EX7210 is ideal for use with the latest-generation widescreen computers, and for projecting high-definition content. Its native 16:10 aspect ratio allows you to fully utilize the capabilities of your widescreen computer, giving you 30% more image area than a 4:3 image and 10% more image area than a 16:9 image. The EX7210 still allows you to display 4:3 and 16:9 content without losing image quality. And the HDMI digital connectivity delivers both audio and brilliant video content with just one cable and is compatible with the latest laptops, Blu-ray and media player.
  • newegg Amazing light output The Epson EX7210 delivers 2800 lumens of color light output and 2800 lumens of white light output 1 for rich, colorful images. Whether you’re projecting images with deep, dark colors or a white screen with minimal text or graphics, you get consistent light output. And, with Epson, you can be confident you’re getting what you need because Epson measures white light output according to the ISO 21118 standard, a more rigid standard than the outdated ANSI lumens rating used by competitive products.
  • newegg 3LCD, 3-chip technology — for quality and color that’s beyond amazing The Epson EX7210 employs 3LCD, 3-chip technology for full-time and true-to-life color. Compared to 1-chip DLP projectors, this projector consumes 25% less electricity required per lumen of brightness. Count on Epson’s over 20 years of road-tested reliability built-into every projector.
  • newegg New horizontal image correction with easy-slide control technology Epson’s horizontal and vertical image (keystone) correction means you can project a rectangular image from almost any angle. The EX7210 automatically corrects the image vertically. And for horizontal image correction, just move the easy-slide control bar to make the necessary adjustments. Your EX7210 can be off to the side and above or below the screen, while your presentation is front and center.
  • newegg Energy-efficient E-TORL lamp, exclusively from Epson The E-TORL lamps maximize your presentation time up to 5000 hours, while minimizing your costs. It also minimizes both light diffraction and light leakage.
  • newegg USB plug ‘n play instant setup The Epson EX7210 incorporates USB plug ‘n play instant setup allowing you to instantly view your images on both the screen and your computer, one standard USB cable does it all and no more computer function keys or bulky VGA cables. The USB connection also enables you to maintain control over your presentation with the page up/page down function on the remote control. Just plug in a standard USB cable and instantly project video and audio from your PC or Mac.

5 out of 5 eggsEPSON EX7210

Pros: Good price. Good brightness. Good focus. Good auto setup. Good quaility 1920x1080 down conversion to 1280x800 or 1280x720.

Cons: None at this price.

Other Thoughts: I own several Epson EX70's and this model is superior.

4 out of 5 eggs1yr and a half, still going strong

Pros: Bright even when set to economy, clear clean picture on all sources, long bulb life, picture is still as good as the day that I first installed it.

Cons: The Iris that helps control contrast levels is a bit noisy when transitioning from a bright to dark scene. The Iris can be shut off in the options but I wouldn't suggest it unless you're running a grey/silver screen. That said it is tolerable once you get used to it.

Other Thoughts: I am using this as my main home theater display. I use it with a PS3, and Dish Network both at 1080i. My signal sources are being routed through a Sony receiver with hdmi switching with no problems. it is currently being used with a 90'' white pull down display and looks good, but where it shines is on a grey screen. I have a 140" high contrast grey screen I'm in the process of building and it looks beautiful.

Overall I have been extremely happy with this projector. this is the second Epson I have owned and both were wonderful products.

The Bulb is it 746hrs in ECO mode, I haven't run it at all in normal.
